Is Santa a Criminal? A History of Saint Nicholas & The Lost Art of Being Yourself | Feral But Funny

Is Santa a Criminal? A History of Saint Nicholas & The Lost Art of Being Yourself 🎅 HALLOWEEN IS OVER. MERRY CHRISTMAS, YOU ANIMALS!🎅 We're kicking off Christmas season a little early on Feral But Funny, and this week we're asking the important questions nobody seems brave enough to ask. Is Santa Claus a criminal? Has he ever been charged with breaking and entering? Is he secretly a puppet of capitalism? Is Elf on the Shelf actually a Christmas surveillance program? And why does Santa look the way he does? We're also counting down my Top 5 Christmas Movies, including Christmas Vacation, Home Alone, The Grinch, and more! But underneath all the Christmas chaos, this episode gets a little more personal. I talk about what I was like as a kid, some of my less-than-pleasant Christmas memories, growing up feeling disconnected from myself, and the process of figuring out who I actually am as an adult. Lately, I've been rediscovering things I love: poetry, reading, art, museums, and simply taking the time to experience life outside of a screen. We also get into why art matters, the importance of third places, social media addiction, the struggles facing the next generation, and why sometimes you need to put your phone down and remember what makes you YOU. Because there's still beauty in this world. Sometimes you just have to stop scrolling long enough to see it. I Went to the Titanic Museum and Got Spiritually Summoned to Ireland | Feral But Funny Ep. 4

CITIZENS OF THE FERAL NATION, YOUR REGULARLY SCHEDULED PROGRAMMING HAS BEEN INTERRUPTED.We're talking Tennessee vacation adventures, the Titanic Museum, southern Walmart culture, Auntie Anne's pretzels, questionable Craigslist personals, and why I think the Wilderness is spiritually calling me home. I may have gone on vacation, but my brain clearly never took one.🦇 IN THIS EPISODE: COLD WEATHER CRISISThe weather is cooling down, the flannel is coming out, and apparently spring and summer were designed exclusively for skinny people. 🚢 THE TITANIC MUSEUM EXPERIENCEI visited the Titanic Museum in Tennessee, discovered the passenger reveal, and came away with stories involving mirrors, questionable water jokes, and an experience I wasn't expecting.🥨 AUNTIE ANNE'S: THE PRETZEL INDUSTRIAL COMPLEXWhat happens when you stop thinking of Auntie Anne's as a pretzel company and start thinking of it as a full-blown personality? Exactly what you'd expect from this podcast.🛒 NORTHERN VS. SOUTHERN WALMARTDifferent regions, different people, different shopping experiences. Let's discuss the cultural differences that apparently deserve their own documentary.🐇 RIPLEY'S, CRAIGSLIST & THE OLD INTERNETA little curiosity, a little nostalgia, and a reminder that the internet used to be a much stranger place. Somehow, we're still here.THE CALL OF THE WILDBetween the vacation stories and the chaos, I may have discovered that my next adventure needs to involve the Wilderness. Is it wanderlust, a spiritual awakening, or just my brain choosing a new hyperfixation? The Feral Nation deserves answers. And yes, there's plenty of unfiltered commentary, dark humor, questionable observations, and the kind of nonsense that makes you wonder why anyone gave me a microphone.WELCOME TO FERAL BUT FUNNY.🦝 JOIN THE FERAL NATIONSubscribe to Feral But Funny for chaotic commentary, personal stories, dark humor, pop culture, and the occasional emergency broadcast from your favorite feral overlord.👍 Like the episode if you enjoyed the chaos.💬 Comment below: Would you rather visit Ireland or Scotland?🔔 Subscribe and turn on notifications so you don't miss the next transmission.🎧 LISTEN ON SPOTIFYFind Feral But Funny on Spotify and take the chaos with you wherever you go.New episodes every Tuesday!

    I Accidentally Started a Cult at Work… 💀

Welcome back, my Feral Horde! 🦝💙 I'm trying to get my shit together. I'm hitting the gym, losing weight, sticking to my recording schedule, and getting ready for vacation. Things are looking up! So naturally, I may have accidentally started a cult at work. What started as an inside joke has spiraled into something much bigger, and now people I DON'T EVEN KNOW are talking to me about it. But don't worry, our cult offers medical, dental, vision, a 401(k) match, and even recruitment bonuses. All we ask for is your undying loyalty. Sounds like a pretty good deal to me. Then we get into a story involving a questionable kidnapping, workplace rumors, and why people might think I'm either a cult leader, a crime boss, or some unholy combination of both. Should I start making crime tutorials? Probably not. Will that stop me? We'll see. We're also diving headfirst into spooky season with my Top 5 Halloween Movies, childhood Halloween nostalgia, the tragic absence of a third Addams Family movie, the war on Halloween, and the strange history of razor blades in Halloween candy. Plus, we're talking Scary Godmother, my recent viewing of Nosferatu, and the glorious return of American Horror Story. From questionable life choices to our favorite spooky movies, this episode has a little bit of everything and absolutely no adult supervision. So grab your favorite beverage, embrace your inner cryptid, and join the Feral Horde. Welcome to Feral But Funny. You're probably already on the recruitment list. 🦝 New episodes every Tuesday. #FeralButFunny #ComedyPodcast #Halloween

I Was Born to Be a Disney Villain 🖤 | Halloween, Villains & My Dream Gothic Home | Feral But Funny

Happy Fall, Guys! 🍂 Welcome back to Feral But Funny. The weather is getting colder, the leaves are changing, it gets dark early, and my people of the dark are finally getting their time to shine. In Episode 2, we’re talking about Halloween, fall, Disney villains, villain psychology, and why I’ve always felt more connected to the villains than the heroes.I’ve never really related to the classic hero. Give me Hades, Scar, Rasputin, or basically anyone who looks like they might actually kill me.Maybe I was just born to be a villain. We get into why villains are so much more interesting than heroes, the psychology behind what makes a great villain, my completely legitimate Disney villain parentage, and why I might secretly be a witch. Then we get into my dream home: an old Victorian house or creepy witchy cottage in the woods, covered in overgrown vines, filled with books, paintings, color, and enough personality to make an interior designer cry.Basically, I don't want a clinical white open-concept house.I want Dracula's castle meets the Addams Family.Oh, and apparently they're building Dracula Land in Transylvania, so obviously we have to talk about that. Also featuring:🎃 Halloween memories🍂 Why I love fall👹 Villains vs. heroes🏰 My dream gothic/Victorian home🧙‍♂️ Why I might have been born to be a witch🧛 Dracula Land💀 A completely unnecessary amount of dark humorWelcome back to Feral But Funny.New episodes every Tuesday.Subscribe and join the Feral Horde. 🦝💙#FeralButFunny #Halloween #DisneyVillains #Fall #Villains #Podcast #Gothic #HalloweenPodcast #VictorianHome #Dracula
