    God’s Compassion vs Our Expectations

If God is compassionate… why does life still hurt? Why do prayers sometimes feel unanswered? Why does God seem silent when we need Him most? In this conversation, we unpack what compassion really means; not just sympathy, not just empathy, but love that is moved into action. We explore how Jesus revealed the compassion of God, why self-protection can harden the heart, and how our expectations of timing often shape our view of God more than truth does. This episode is for anyone wrestling with disappointment, guardedness, unanswered prayers, or the question: Where was God when I needed Him? You’ll also hear practical reflections on trust, surrender, healing, emotional honesty, and becoming open vessels for God’s love to move through. Idols, Worship, and the Jealous Love of God

What does it really mean when Scripture says God is a jealous God? In this conversation, we wrestle with a phrase that can easily be misunderstood. Human jealousy often looks like insecurity, control, or fear. But God’s jealousy is something altogether different. It is protective, covenantal, and rooted in love. We explore the difference between envy and jealousy, why idolatry is never harmless, how Hosea reframes God’s pursuit of His people, and why what we worship always shapes what we become. We also talk about how a distorted view of God’s character can affect everything about our relationship with Him. This episode is an invitation to move beyond suspicion and into adoration—to see that God’s jealousy is not about His lack, but about His love, His holiness, and His desire for wholehearted relationship. The Inconceivable Generosity of God

What does it really mean to say that God is generous? In this episode, we explore the generosity of God through creation, Scripture, personal stories, and the tension many of us feel between grace and performance. We talk about Adam in the garden, the prodigal son, the workers in the vineyard, Peter’s denial, manna in the wilderness, and the gift of Jesus himself. Again and again, the same truth rises to the surface: God’s generosity is not based on what we earn, deserve, or manage to prove. It flows from who He is. We also wrestle with what this means for everyday life. How do we receive God’s generosity when we are wired for striving? How do we notice His provision? And how might His generosity begin to flow through us toward others with no strings attached? If you have ever wondered whether God is holding back, whether grace is really for you, or whether Christianity is more than performance and self-improvement, this conversation is for you. Created in His Image: Rethinking What Creativity Really Means

What if creativity isn’t just a personality trait—but a reflection of who God is? In this conversation, we explore the idea that God reveals Himself first as Creator—and what that means for how we see ourselves. From taste buds and music to nature and storytelling, creativity isn’t accidental. It’s intentional, abundant, and deeply connected to purpose. We wrestle with questions like: • Is creativity essential or just an “extra”? • Are we truly creative, or just remixing what already exists? • Why does God care about beauty, detail, and experience? • How can creativity shape culture, faith, and even evangelism? This episode invites you to reconsider creativity—not as something reserved for artists, but as something woven into every part of life. And maybe more importantly… as an invitation.
