    How Moms Lose the Ability to Say What They Want and How to Get It Back

    It starts with dinner. But it was never really about dinner. If you are a mom who struggles to say what you want this episode is for you. In this episode of the Activate Your Destiny podcast I share a real moment from my birthday where my husband asked me what I wanted and my response was almost always the answer that I thought either he needed, that my children needed, or that somebody else needed. It was very rarely the truth about what I actually wanted. We talk about what Isaiah 54:2 says about the space you are allowed to take up. God said enlarge it, stretch it, do not hold back. And yet we keep shrinking and folding ourselves into whatever space is left. We get into what boundaries actually are and why they show people how to love you. Making room does not just look like saying no. Your schedule should be built around what matters and everything else fits within that. I also share a real story from a Mom School quarterly planning session where we went through one mom's full weekly schedule and found everything she was doing out of guilt that had nothing to do with what actually served her family. The first thing we put aside is the only thing that directly impacts us. That ends today.     When God Asks You What YOU Want And You Do Not Know How to Answer

    Have you ever had a moment where God asked you what you wanted and you just sat there? In this episode I share what happened when I sat down to write my vision and why so many called moms struggle to name what they actually desire. We talk about guilt, fear, finances, and why admiring what you want is not the same as pursuing it. Your assignment is waiting. Let's get activated.
