Rooted in Knowing God is Able, Rising in Courage (Episode 25)

Episode 25 – Rooted in Knowing God is Able, Rising in Courage 🔗 https://open.spotify.com/show/3UKsQpZzjFBO0OOiSeLXGI?si=RAB4RCceQlaq0m7eSABpIQ The Person: JonathanScripture: “Then Jonathan said to the young man who bore his armor, ‘Come, let us go over to the garrison… It may be that the Lord will work for us. For nothing restrains the Lord from saving by many or by few.’” — 1 Samuel 14:6 (NKJV) Devotional:Jonathan believed that God could win victories no matter the odds. While others waited in fear, he stepped out in faith. His bold words—“It may be that the Lord will work for us”—were not uncertainty, but humility. He knew victory didn’t depend on numbers, but on God. Faith like Jonathan’s is rare because it’s willing to act before the outcome is clear. He didn’t need a full army or a perfect plan. He needed God—and that was enough. His courage rose from confidence in God’s ability, not his own. What battles are you facing today? You may not feel qualified or equipped, but faith isn’t about feelings—it’s about trust. When you’re rooted in the belief that God is able, you can rise in courage to take the next step—even if it's uphill. Prayer Prompt:Lord, help me trust You when I face challenges. Root me in Your strength so I can rise with courage.

Rooted in Honesty with the Lord, Rising in Belief (Episode 24)

Episode 24 – Rooted in Honesty with the Lord, Rising in Belief 🔗 https://open.spotify.com/show/3UKsQpZzjFBO0OOiSeLXGI?si=RAB4RCceQlaq0m7eSABpIQ The Person: ThomasScripture: “My Lord and my God!” — John 20:28 (NKJV) Devotional:Thomas is often remembered for his doubt, but don’t miss how he rose in declaration. When he saw the risen Christ, his response was one of the strongest confessions in Scripture: “My Lord and my God!” Doubt didn’t disqualify him—it deepened his belief when he encountered the truth. Rooted in real questions, Thomas rose with real faith. If you wrestle with uncertainty, don’t run from God—bring it to Him. He meets us where we are and reveals Himself in powerful ways. Prayer Prompt:Jesus, meet me in my questions and help me rise in faith. I confess You as my Lord and my God.

Rooted in Obedience, Rising in Evangelism (Episode 23)

Episode 23 – Rooted in Obedience, Rising in Evangelism 🔗 https://open.spotify.com/show/3UKsQpZzjFBO0OOiSeLXGI?si=RAB4RCceQlaq0m7eSABpIQ The Person: Philip Scripture: “Then Philip opened his mouth, and beginning at this Scripture, preached Jesus to him.” — Acts 8:35 (NKJV) Devotional: Philip didn’t wait for a pulpit—he ran after a chariot. When the Holy Spirit prompted him, he obeyed. Rooted in the Word, Philip shared Jesus with a searching Ethiopian official, and a divine appointment became a life changed. Philip teaches us that rising in evangelism starts with saying “yes” to God’s promptings. When you're rooted in Scripture and sensitive to the Spirit, you’ll be ready to lead others to Christ wherever you go. The Gospel doesn’t wait for a platform—just a willing heart. Prayer Prompt: Holy Spirit, make me ready like Philip. Teach me to listen, obey, and share Jesus wherever You lead me.

Rooted in Relationship, Rising in Invitation (Episode 22)

Episode 22 – Rooted in Relationship, Rising in Invitation 🔗 https://open.spotify.com/show/3UKsQpZzjFBO0OOiSeLXGI?si=RAB4RCceQlaq0m7eSABpIQ The Person: AndrewScripture: “He first found his own brother Simon, and said to him, ‘We have found the Messiah’...” — John 1:41 (NKJV) Devotional:Andrew is often in the background—but he’s always bringing someone to Jesus. He followed Christ and immediately introduced his brother Peter to the Savior. Andrew shows us that being rooted in relationship with Jesus naturally overflows into invitation. You don’t need a spotlight to make a difference—just a heart to connect people to Christ. God uses Andrews to ignite fire in others. You may not preach to the multitudes, but your faithful witness could lead someone who will. Prayer Prompt:Lord, give me a heart like Andrew’s. Help me invite others to meet You and find their purpose in You.

Rooted in Grace, Rising in Identity (Episode 21)

Episode 21 – Rooted in Grace, Rising in Identity 🔗 https://open.spotify.com/show/3UKsQpZzjFBO0OOiSeLXGI?si=RAB4RCceQlaq0m7eSABpIQ The Person: PaulScripture: “By the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me was not in vain…” — 1 Corinthians 15:10 (NKJV) Devotional:Paul’s story is proof that God’s grace can rewrite any past. Once a persecutor, Paul became a planter of churches and writer of Scripture. He never forgot the depths from which he was rescued—and that kept him rooted. But that same grace that saved him also fueled him to rise. Grace doesn’t just forgive; it empowers. Paul rose with purpose, preaching Christ with relentless passion. Your sin may have been great, but God’s grace is greater! Prayer Prompt:Jesus, thank You for Your grace that meets me where I am. Help me rise with passion and purpose, just like Paul.

Rooted in Waiting, Rising in Testimony (Episode 20)

Episode 20 – Rooted in God’s Timing, Rising in Testimony🔗 https://open.spotify.com/show/3UKsQpZzjFBO0OOiSeLXGI?si=RAB4RCceQlaq0m7eSABpIQThe Person: LazarusScripture: “Lazarus, come forth!” — John 11:43 (NKJV)Devotional:Jesus was “late” by everyone else’s timeline, but He was right on time for a miracle. Mary and Martha wept. The crowd questioned. Lazarus was sealed in a tomb for four days. And yet, Jesus arrived—not to mourn, but to resurrect.Lazarus’s story is a reminder that God’s delays are not God’s denials. Often, the waiting seasons feel like silence, but in heaven’s timeline, they are sacred preparation for a powerful testimony. Rooted in God’s authority, even death had to obey. There are things in your life that may seem beyond hope—dreams, relationships, even parts of your faith. But Jesus still speaks to tombs. When He says “Come forth,” no grave can hold what He has ordained to live. Don’t bury what God is preparing to raise.Prayer Prompt:Jesus, help me trust Your timing. Raise up new life in places I thought were lost, and use my story to bring glory to Your name.

Rooted in Forgiveness, Rising in Freedom (Episode 19)

Episode 19 – Rooted in Forgiveness, Rising in Freedom 🔗 https://open.spotify.com/show/3UKsQpZzjFBO0OOiSeLXGI?si=RAB4RCceQlaq0m7eSABpIQThe Person: The Prodigal SonScripture: “But when he was still a great way off, his father saw him…” — Luke 15:20 (NKJV) Devotional:The prodigal son ran from his father—but never out of his love. He squandered his inheritance, made ruinous choices, and ended up feeding pigs in a foreign land. But when he came to his senses and returned, the father didn’t scold—he ran to meet him with open arms. Forgiveness embraced him before he could finish his apology. Rooted in grace, he was restored not as a servant, but as a son. This is the beauty of God’s heart: He doesn’t just forgive—He restores. He doesn’t hold our past over us—He gives us a new future. We often struggle to forgive ourselves, but God is already watching from the road, ready to receive us home. Forgiveness is the foundation of true freedom. You no longer have to live by guilt or shame. You are not defined by where you’ve been but by who your Father says you are. Rise today in that truth and walk as a beloved child, no longer bound by your past. Prayer Prompt:Father, thank You for welcoming me home. Help me walk in the freedom You offer and extend that same grace to others who need it.

Rooted in Prayer, Rising in Power (Episode 18)

Episode 18 – Rooted in Prayer, Rising in Power 🔗 https://open.spotify.com/show/3UKsQpZzjFBO0OOiSeLXGI?si=RAB4RCceQlaq0m7eSABpIQ The Person: The Early ChurchScripture: “These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication…” — Acts 1:14 Devotional:Before Pentecost, there was a prayer meeting. The early church didn’t rush ahead—they gathered, waited, and sought the Lord together. Their power didn’t come from clever strategies or charismatic leaders—it came from united, persistent prayer. Rooted in that spiritual discipline, they were ready when the Holy Spirit fell. We often want power without preparation, results without relationship. But the pattern of Acts reminds us that revival flows through people who prioritize prayer. The upper room wasn’t a place of hype—it was a place of humility. And from that humility, boldness was born. If you long to rise with power, return to your knees. Let prayer become your first instinct, not your last resort. In God’s presence, we receive clarity, courage, and power to live on mission. Prayer Prompt:Lord, teach me to wait on You in prayer. Unite my heart with Yours and fill me with Your Spirit.
