Take 2 Ibuprofen and Run on It

Change is one of the only things we can count on and that doesn’t always make it easy. In this episode, we talk about navigating change in relationships, business, and life, especially when what’s familiar feels a whole lot more comfortable than what’s next. We dig into the fear that can come with stepping outside your comfort zone, letting go of what no longer fits, and choosing to move even when you don’t know exactly where it will lead. Because as uncomfortable as change can be, one thing is true: nothing changes unless you do. Instagram

    Somedays Are Just Hard

Not every hard day needs to be fixed, reframed, or turned into a lesson. In this episode, Amy opens up about the emotions, pressures, and expectations she’s been navigating in this season of life, including some of the realities that have come with divorce. It’s a conversation about letting yourself feel what you feel, giving yourself grace when life feels heavy, and remembering that having a bad day doesn’t mean you’re doing life wrong. Sometimes, it’s just a bad day and you’re allowed to have one. Instagram

Love Within The Burden Of Life

What does it really mean to love someone through the hard seasons of life? In this episode, we explore the idea that loving someone doesn’t mean taking their burdens away, it means choosing not to let them carry them alone. Through the lens of the “suitcase theory,” we talk about showing up, sharing the weight, and being present even when we can’t fix what someone is going through. Because sometimes love isn’t about making the load lighter. It’s simply saying, “You don’t have to carry this by yourself.” Suitcase Theory https://www.instagram.com/reel/DZlZwD7oylr/?stkn=MW91eXYwajlxOHJycA== Instagram

The Moment We Realized… It’s Not That Serious

Amy and Kay are getting to the heart of the question behind the entire podcast: When did we realize it’s really not that serious? From the things that once felt like the end of the world to the worries, expectations, and everyday moments we give way too much power, they’re talking about the perspective shifts that changed how they see life. Because sometimes the thing that feels so serious today ends up being something you laugh about later. This episode is your reminder to loosen your grip, laugh a little more, and ask yourself: Is it really that serious?   Follow us Instagram

Meet the Photographers Behind the Lens (with Dana & Josh of Ethereal Photography)

We welcomed Dana and Josh, the best-friend duo behind Ethereal Photography (they shot our Florida beach photos last December). Dana and Josh share how they met on Instagram, the bumpy start to their working relationship, and how they grew from a one-time second-shooter arrangement into a full-blown best friendship and travel-heavy business partnership. The episode wraps with a guided mini-session from the hosts' new relationship-focused mindset program, "Rooted," which Dana and Josh try out live.   Find them and us on Instagram! Grieving Old Versions of Ourselves

This week on It’s Not That Serious, we’re talking about something people don’t discuss enough — grieving old versions of ourselves. The older we get, the more we realize growth doesn’t just bring change… it also brings loss. Sometimes we miss the carefree version of ourselves, the more hopeful version, the version before heartbreak, burnout, motherhood, healing, boundaries, or life simply changed us. In this episode, we talk about: Missing old versions of ourselves while still knowing we’ve grown Why healing can sometimes feel lonely Outgrowing friendships, habits, and old patterns Romanticizing seasons of life that weren’t actually healthy The weirdness of realizing you’re not who you used to be How people react when you change The balance between honoring your past self and embracing who you’re becoming We also share some funny moments about the things our past selves would NEVER believe about us now. This episode is honest, reflective, funny, and a reminder that becoming who you’re meant to be often requires letting go of who you used to be. Because maybe growth isn’t about becoming someone completely new…maybe it’s about finally becoming yourself. Follow us on instagram at twinnytimes2

    Perimenopause...Who Is She?

We thought we knew our bodies until we hit our late 30s and now we’re like WTF.  Something has been… off. We’re tired—but wired. Snapping—but also crying in the car for no reason. Forgetting everything. Sweating at night. Questioning our sanity 😅 So we finally asked the question: Is this just life… or is this perimenopause?! This week on It’s Not That Serious, Amy and I are getting REAL about the phase no one prepared us for. The mood swings, the brain fog, the identity shifts—and why it feels like our bodies just went rogue overnight. We’re not doctors… we’re just in it. And if you are too? You are NOT crazy, and you are definitely not alone. Come laugh, vent, and figure this out with us. Follow along and share your thoughts with us on Instagram at @twinnytimes2
