We Tried to Solve Your Most Unhinged Scenarios | ADHP S2E11

Short story long... we had an episode recorded. Then we got an email telling us not to post it. So naturally, we handed the backup plan to the 30%ers. This week, Zaga and Nick are working through ridiculous fan-submitted scenarios and answering one important question: What would two adults running on 30% actually do? And apparently the answer is almost always: make the situation significantly worse. What happens if you're trapped inside a Walmart overnight while one exhausted employee is hunting you? What if your HOA accuses you of summoning raccoons? What if a stranger hands you their toddler and drives away? What if mystery packages containing medieval weapons, exotic spices and taxidermy supplies keep showing up at your house? What happens when two adults reach for the last package of Oreos? And what exactly are you supposed to do when a stranger walks up in a parking lot, hands you a burner phone and whispers: “You're safe now.” Before any of that, Zaga also derails the episode with one of the most disturbing mortuary documentaries he's ever watched, Nick absolutely does NOT explain what's happening between him and Juliana, and somehow the episode ends with an extremely questionable plan involving Copper, Salem and a fake proposal. This is not how responsible adults would handle these situations. This is how we would. Running on 30%. Still showing up. We Gave Awards to the Worst Parts of Adulthood | ADHP S2E10

Short story long... adulthood finally got the awards show it deserves. This week, Zaga and Nick host The 30% Awards, where being nominated is less of an honor and more confirmation that adulthood has personally wronged you. The 30%ers helped nominate the everyday problems, purchases, social rules, minor inconveniences, and outright betrayals competing for some of adulthood's least prestigious awards. We're deciding: What should have only taken five minutes? What normal purchase has gotten offensively expensive? What's the worst thing to remember immediately after sitting down? Which temporary solution somehow became permanent? What unwritten social rule did nobody actually agree to? Which minor inconvenience has absolutely no right to make us this angry? Who designed some of this garbage? And what is the ultimate adulthood final boss? Customer service battles subscriptions. Pokémon cards, fast food, PC parts, and the pink tax compete for “That Cost HOW Much?” Wet socks face slow walkers. College and employers enter The Great Betrayal. And by the end, work and social media are fighting for the honor of draining the last remaining percentage of our sanity. There are no celebrities. There is no red carpet. There are several unresolved responsibilities. Welcome to The 30% Awards. Running on 30%. Still showing up. I Tried to Help a Stranger and Regretted It | ADHP S2E9

Short story long... adulthood is just a never-ending collection of side quests nobody trained us for. This week, Zaga and Nick enter the 30% Side Quest Championship to figure out who is actually better at surviving the tiny adult problems that somehow consume an unreasonable amount of time, money, and emotional stability. We're dealing with customer service calls from hell, mystery subscription charges, being transferred between the same departments, household repairs that could become significantly more expensive if you touch the wrong thing, grocery-store rage, self-checkout betrayal, and the eternal adult question: Is this a problem for right now... or Tomorrow Me? Zaga also tries to do one nice thing for a stranger who only needs a ride “right down the road.” Fifteen minutes later, he's on the other side of town, the church is closed, there's suddenly a CVS involved, and apparently he accidentally became an unpaid transportation service. Then we put our adulthood survival skills to the test with: A duplicate charge and a 45-minute hold time. A 2 A.M. smoke-detector, Wi-Fi, and running-toilet disaster. A $25 grocery-store survival challenge. And a lightning round proving how aggressively we will postpone basic responsibilities. We may not have adulthood figured out. But we're still here. We Put Two Single Friends Through a Dating Test | ADHP S2E8

Short story long... we put the two single people in the same episode and let the married guy ask the questions.Juliana is back for the first time this season, she finally meets Nick, and Zaga immediately turns the whole thing into a dating compatibility test. What starts with one simple question, “Are you actually ready for a relationship?” turns into two hours of dating apps, terrible dates, relationship expectations, communication, red flags, green flags, marriage, kids, being single in your 30s, and trying to figure out whether anybody actually knows what they're doing anymore.Nick explains what keeps going wrong in modern dating, Juliana reveals the behavior that instantly kills a second date, Zaga remembers why he should probably never be allowed back on Tinder, and somehow Medieval Times becomes a legitimate first-date strategy. We also get into the difference between being lonely and being ready for a partner, learning to enjoy your own company, what being single teaches you, why “no” is a complete sentence, and which dating behaviors should have been retired several years ago.And by the end, the 30%ers have one final decision to make:Are Nick and Juliana compatible enough to get lunch together in Salem?Running on 30%. We Thought the GameCube Had Toxic Gas | ADHP S2E7

Nick believed a GameCube could release toxic gas if you broke it the wrong way.So naturally, he and his stepbrothers tested the rumor. This week, Nick and Copper fall into a nostalgia-fueled nerd fight club covering the games, anime, superheroes, childhood rumors, and fictional universes that raised them. They debate Xbox 360 vs. PlayStation 2, Marvel vs. DC, physical games vs. digital libraries, Pokémon vs. Digimon, Star Wars vs. The Lord of the Rings, open-world vs. linear games, and subbed vs. dubbed anime.Copper also faces the Copper Challenge: make one complete argument in 30 seconds without starting five more arguments, explaining an entire franchise, or forgetting the original question.Somewhere between the GameCube toxic-gas experiment, gaming creepypastas, Toonami memories, and the realization that the nerds grew up and became hot, the episode becomes exactly as controlled as you would expect.Running on 30%. I Quit My Job… and My Friends Immediately Lost Their Minds | ADHP S2E5

I quit my job… and my friends immediately lost their minds. In Episode 5 of ADHP: Adulthood Pending Season 2, Zaga talks about leaving the car industry after 10 years to build ADHP full-time. This is the start of the full-time ADHP era: the podcast, the live streams, the 30%ers, the merch, the guests, the creator program, and the community we’re trying to grow from the ground up. Nick and @copperhead347 are here for the conversation, which means this emotional life update immediately turns into support, yelling, roasting, and total ADHP chaos. Copper is back this week, and if you know @copperhead347 from TikTok, yes, this is the episode where he returns to ADHP. He may have 2.2 million followers, but on this show, he is still getting roasted for disappearing into the woods, having dial-up internet energy, and growing a mustache at the speed of government paperwork. This episode is about betting on yourself, leaving a stable job, taking a creative risk, protecting your health, and trying to build something bigger than a podcast. It is also about Comic-Con, Salem, Twilight, fake corporate titles, Blackstone griddles, Copper’s mustache, Nick being spicy, and the episode falling apart in real time. Welcome to the full-time ADHP era. Same chaos, better decisions. In this episode: - Zaga talks about quitting his job to build ADHP full-time - Nick and @copperhead347 react to the decision - Copper returns to the show - The boys talk about taking risks, leaving corporate America, and betting on yourself - ADHP starts shifting from podcast to community-driven creator brand - The 30%ers become even more important to the future of the show - Comic-Con, Salem, cosplay, and the full ADHP cast meetup get discussed - Copper’s mustache gets attacked from every direction - Zaga talks about health, back pain, working from home, and rebuilding his life - The ADHP Creator Program starts taking shape - Fake corporate titles are assigned because apparently this is a company now - The episode completely falls apart, which means it is functioning exactly as intended Comment below: What is the biggest risk you have ever taken on yourself? And if you’re one of the 30%ers, tell us what you want ADHP to become next. If you support the show, the biggest thing you can do right now is share this episode with one person who is running on 30% and still showing up. --- Follow ADHP 🎙️ Podcast: ADHP: Adulthood Pending 📺 YouTube: @ADHPSHOW 📲 Instagram: @ADHPSHOW 🎮 Twitch: https://www.twitch.tv/adulthoodpending 💬 Discord: https://discord.com/invite/guMbYn3jjp 🛒 Merch: https://adulthoodpending-shop.fourthwall.com/ --- Want to be a guest on ADHP?
