Hollywood Christians: What It's Really Like Evangelizing Celebrities Ep. 74

What is it really like sharing the gospel with Hollywood Christians and celebrities? Join Jonathan and David as they welcome back Dylan Novak — The Celebrity Evangelist — for Episode 74 of Deformed Theology. Dylan shares what he's learned from years of sharing the gospel one-on-one with actors, comedians, and A-list stars, from Chris Pratt and Howie Mandel to David Duchovny, Craig Robinson, Jay Farrow, and John Travolta. In this conversation: why Dylan sees celebrities as an unreached people group, why horror actors are surprisingly open to Jesus, how Bryce Dallas Howard started a Bible study on a horror set, and what happened when Dylan got a study Bible to John Travolta at a chaotic premiere. Grounded in James on partiality, 1 Corinthians 9:22 on becoming all things to all people, and the call to love God and neighbor without judgment — this is about taking Christ beyond the church walls. 👕 New here? Does Dinx Wear A Tinfoil Hat? Is He Made From Mixed Fabrics? Ep.72

Join Jonathan and David for Ep. 72 with Dinx the Puppet — a funny, grace-filled deep dive into Nephilim, end-times alien deception, and Torah vs. faith. Dinx shares his take on Genesis 6 hybrids, why Christians shouldn't fear UAPs, what Revelation really tells us, and why obedience is the evidence of salvation, not the mechanism. We discuss LA Marzulli's theory, replacement theology in Romans 11, reading John with humility, plus Star Wars, Star Trek, and Dinx's infamous cotton poly blend confession. Christ Is the End of the Law: Why Christians Aren't Under Torah: Ep. 70

Should Christians still observe the Torah? In Episode 68 we sat down with Nathaniel Alexander — and genuinely could not agree. This is where we land. In this follow-up, David and Jonathan walk back through that conversation with their Bibles open and their convictions on the table. Who was the law of Moses actually given to? What did Paul mean when he said Christ is the end of the law? And if we aren't bound to the letter of the Torah, does that mean anything goes? They work through Galatians 3, Romans 6, and 2 Corinthians 3 to show that the law was never the source of righteousness — it was a tutor pointing to Christ. The law was powerless because of the flesh. What it could not do, God did by sending His own Son. Sanctification isn't earned by keeping ceremonial law; it's the work of the indwelling Holy Spirit. Obedience becomes the natural outflow of faith, not the price of it. If you only saw the Shorts from Episode 68, watch the full conversation first — this episode assumes it. ▶️ Our full conversation with Nathaniel Alexander (Ep. 68): Do Christians Have to Keep Torah?📖 We're not here to win an argument. The Trinity Explained: The 'Triple Stamp' Every Christian Should Know. Ep. 67

Is the Trinity a mystery to explain away — or the clearest truth Scripture gives us about who God is? In this episode of Deformed Theology, we sit down with Daniel Justice, a former outspoken atheist who came to faith through an intensive study of the Bible. Daniel walks through the Trinity not as abstract theology, but as the "triple stamp" woven through every page of Scripture — and shows how the tabernacle itself points to the three-in-one nature of God. In this episode we cover:🕯️ How the Trinity isn't a later invention, but rooted in the text📖 The structural parallel between the tabernacle and our own design🧠 Why understanding the Trinity changes how you read every story in the Bible🙌 Daniel's testimony — from militant atheism to Trinitarian conviction Whether you're wrestling with the doctrine of the Trinity, curious about modalism vs. the biblical view, or just hungry to go deeper beyond denominational labels, this one's for you. 👉 Subscribe for new episodes every Monday, and let us know in the comments: what's the hardest part of the Trinity for you to understand? #TheTrinity #ChristianApologetics #BibleStudy #DeformedTheology #TheTrinity #TrinityDoctrine #ChristianApologetics #BibleStudy #DeformedTheology #JesusChrist 00:00 Introduction 00:20 Welcoming Daniel Justice 03:11 Daniel's Background and ChurchPlanting 05:59 Daniel's Testimony: From Atheismto Faith 08:59 Understanding the Transition toBelief 12:13 The Nature of God's Revelation 14:58 Exploring the Consistency ofGod's Word 17:54 The Unchanging Nature of God 21:11 The Cost of Redemption 25:04 Understanding the Trinity 45:47 The Tabernacle Model and theGospel 59:43 Family Discipleship and Education
