    What does it really mean to be part of the family of God? Church was never meant to be just a service you attend—it’s a family where you belong. In Acts 2, we see a picture of the early church devoted to God’s Word, prayer, fellowship, generosity, worship, and caring for one another. In this message, discover how God calls us to shift from simply attending church to truly belonging to His family. We aren’t customers coming to consume—we’re family members called to contribute.     Are You Fighting Your Battles Alone? | Jason Graves

    Life’s battles were never meant to be fought alone. In this message from Daybreak Church, we look at Joshua 1 and discover how God calls His people to be strong and courageous—not because we have enough strength on our own, but because God is with us and He has given us a spiritual family to stand beside us. Discouragement can make us want to isolate, give up, or believe that our situation will never change. But sometimes the enemy’s goal is simply to convince us to quit before the breakthrough. God reminds Joshua, “Be strong and courageous… for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” This message explores why some battles may be personal, but they should not always remain private. As followers of Jesus, we are called to carry one another’s burdens, pray for one another, encourage one another, and fight alongside one another. Church isn’t simply a service you attend—it’s a family in which you belong. If you’re exhausted from carrying something by yourself, this message is a reminder that you don’t have to fight alone.     Is God Calling You to Step Out of Your Comfort Zone? | Ben Graves

    What is God asking you to step out of? Sometimes the greatest obstacle to deeper faith isn’t failure—it’s comfort. We can build lives that are safe, predictable, and functional while God is calling us to something greater: faithfulness. In this message from Daybreak Church, Pastor Ben looks at Peter stepping out of the boat to walk toward Jesus in Matthew 14 and Paul’s determination to “press on” in Philippians 3. Through these passages, we’re challenged to recognize the areas where comfort, fear, routine, or complacency may be keeping us from taking the next step of obedience. Peter’s boat wasn’t broken. It was doing exactly what a boat was supposed to do. But Jesus was out on the water. Sometimes following Jesus means being willing to leave what is functional in order to become faithful. Faith doesn’t mean you’ll never struggle, doubt, or begin to sink. Peter stepped out in faith, and when he began to sink, Jesus reached out and caught him. We take the step—and we trust the grace of God to carry us. What “functional boat” have you become comfortable living in? Where might God be calling you to step out, trust Him, and walk by faith?     How Can Christians Slow Down and Overcome a Hurried Life? | Jason Graves

    Are you constantly busy, overwhelmed, or rushing from one thing to the next? What if the pace of your life is keeping you from experiencing the peace, presence, and purpose God has for you? In this message, we look at Luke 10:38–42 and the story of Mary and Martha to uncover The Dangers of a Hurried Life. Jesus reminds us that while Martha was distracted by everything that needed to be done, Mary chose what mattered most—sitting at the feet of Jesus. Hurry can keep us from being attentive to God and present with people. When our calendars are overcrowded and our lives have no margin, even good things can distract us from what God is doing right in front of us.
