💔 A Slurpee... Then Silence | Lovett “LJ” Moore (MAJOR UPDATE)A Slurpee. A gas station. A disappearance. And a family who refused to stop searching. On June 28, 2025, Lovett “LJ” Moore, a legally blind Black man, disappeared in Sacramento, California. What should have been an ordinary day became the beginning of a family's desperate search for answers. LJ was reportedly last seen at a gas station. As questions grew surrounding his disappearance, his family organized community searches, distributed flyers, and continued advocating for him while raising serious concerns about the response from Sacramento Police Department. 🎙️ In this episode of Black, Brown, & Unsolved, I examine the circumstances surrounding LJ's disappearance, the surveillance footage, the investigation, and his family's fight for answers. I also had the opportunity to interview LJ's mother, sister, brother, and the family's advocate at the time. Their firsthand perspectives provide insight into what the family experienced throughout the search. 💔 MAJOR CASE UPDATE Since this episode was originally recorded, there has been a heartbreaking development involving remains believed to be LJ's. At the end of the episode, I share an important news update, discuss my recent conversation with his sister, and address the questions that remain surrounding his disappearance. At the time of our conversation, LJ's sister shared that the family was still waiting for answers about the cause of death. I also examine how vulnerable missing-person cases are handled, comparing the response to LJ's disappearance with another Sacramento case and asking why some families receive more urgency and media attention than others. Stay until the end for this important update. 📺 WATCH THE FULL EPISODE ON YOUTUBE Watch LJ's story with documentary-style visuals, family interviews, and the major update. 💔 A Slurpee...
