Yes. No. Not Yet. Still God

Life doesn’t always give us the answer we’re hoping for. Sometimes it’s a yes. Other times, it’s a no. And then there’s the waiting room of “not yet.” But no matter the outcome, God is still in it...still working, still present, still good. In this Monday mini, we’re planting the seed for the week with truth that steadies you in the unknown and reminds you that even if the outcome isn’t what you wanted… your God never changed. 📖 Scriptures referenced: Psalm 37:23–24 Romans 8:31–32 Because this week, we’re not chasing answers. We’re trusting the One who already knows.

    Hey! It's S.G. Welcome to Season 2!

In this very first episode, I’m pulling back the curtain and introducing you to the heartbeat of Even in This. I’m S.G., wife, mom, friend, and a woman learning how to balance all God has given me with faith, grace, and a lot of deep breaths. This space isn’t about being perfect or polished. It’s about pausing long enough to be honest about the questions, doubts, and detours of life and then choosing to proceed with God’s Word guiding the way. You’ll hear my story, the vision for this podcast, and why I believe that even in the mess, even in the waiting, and even in the hard , God is present, faithful, and working. If you’ve ever felt like you’re carrying too much, waiting on answers, or just needing a reset, this podcast is for you. Real life. Real scripture. Real quick. Took a moment to Pause and Proceed: The Return

Life got loud. The rhythm shifted. But the assignment didn’t change. In this honest check-in, we talk about returning after a pause—not with shame, but with grace. This isn't about perfection. It's about showing up again. Because even in the stillness, God never left. 📖 Scripture Psalm 139:7–10 (NIV) "Where can I go from your Spirit?Where can I flee from your presence? If I go up to the heavens, you are there;if I make my bed in the depths, you are there. If I rise on the wings of the dawn,if I settle on the far side of the sea, even there your hand will guide me,your right hand will hold me fast." Journal Prompt What does faithfulness look like for me right now, not ideally, but realistically?

I Just Wanted Someone to Ask If I Was Okay : (The Ache of Feeling Unseen)

Even In This: A Moment to Pause and Proceed — Episode 6 This episode is for anyone who’s been strong so long, no one even notices. You show up. You pour out. You smile through pain and still, nobody checks on you. Maybe you whisper in solitude: “Nobody cares.” That isn’t rebellion. It’s exhaustion. A quiet fracture you never signed up for. But you’re not alone. We’ll sit with three raw moments in Scripture: Hagar – who God named “the one He sees.” Mary – whose tears Jesus met before He fixed anything. Jesus – hanging on a cross, questioning His own Father. And we’ll bring it into your life: If you’re holding space for others while your heart bleeds unseen, If it’s too hard to say out loud but too real to keep silentGod is already in the ache with you. This isn’t a sermon. It’s space. It’s a sanctuary. It’s an invitation to say it, breathe it, and let grace meet you right where you are. 📔 Includes: journal prompts, prayer + a gentle reminder you’re not invisible. 📌 Plus, the new Even In This tee dropped—if you need softness in your closet. I Thought I’d Be Further By Now

Have you ever looked around at your life and thought, “I should be further than this”? This episode is for the dreamers who feel delayed, the faithful who feel forgotten, and the ones secretly wondering if their timeline has expired. In this vulnerable and spirit-filled message, S.G. shares a personal story of surrender, detours, and divine timing, including a season marked by heartbreak, shame, and unexpected restoration. Called and Tired: What the Enemy Uses When He Can’t Take You Out

Ever feel like every time you try to move forward, something hits your schedule, your focus, or your feelings? Yeah. That’s not random, that’s strategy. In this episode, we discuss distraction as a spiritual attack, not just a life inconvenience. I share a real parenting moment that tried to pull me out of position and unpack how the enemy used conversation to distract Eve and delay Nehemiah, but God responded with pursuit, presence, and discernment. Scriptures: Genesis 3 + Nehemiah 6 Includes a journal prompt + a question to ask God For anyone who’s tired of being pulled away from purpose You’re still called, even when you're worn down.Don’t come down.

What If God’s Calling You While You’re Still Afraid?

(Part 1 of the “Called Anyway?” Series) This episode is raw, unpolished, and recorded in my closet and that’s exactly the point. Welcome to Even In This, a space where we pause long enough to hear God and proceed with what He said, even if our voice shakes. In this first episode, I share what almost kept me from ever hitting record. We talk about fear, delayed obedience, Moses’ reluctance, and the moment I realized that God never asked for my perfection, just my yes. Scripture: Isaiah 41:10 Journal prompt + a question for God included If you’ve ever felt scared to start, this one’s for you.
