    Don't Drift | Stay Awake and Be Ready for His Return | Luke 21:34-36

    Nobody wakes up one day and decides to walk away from God. It's never that dramatic. It's a slow little drift. A little busy here, a little tired there — and before long, what used to be central to your life is completely gone. In Luke 21:34-36, Jesus issues one of his most urgent warnings. He's not talking to his enemies. He's talking to his followers. And what he tells them has everything to say to anyone who has ever felt spiritually numb, distracted, or disconnected — and isn't quite sure how they got there. This message is a wake-up call.     Tear Through the Roof | Desperate Faith & Determined Friends | Luke 5:17-26

    Four men had a friend who couldn't get to Jesus on his own. So they carried him. When the crowd blocked the door, they climbed to the roof and cut a hole in it. Jesus saw their faith — and changed everything. In Luke 5:17-26, we encounter one of the most vivid scenes in all of the Gospels. A paralyzed man. Four determined friends. A packed house full of religious leaders. And a moment that forces everyone in the room to decide what they actually believe about Jesus. This message is for anyone carrying a burden they can't fix on their own. And it's for anyone who has someone in their life who is far from God — someone who needs friends willing to tear through every obstacle to carry them to Jesus.     You Can Be Busy for Jesus and Still Miss Him | Luke 10:38-42

    She was doing everything right. The cooking, the serving, the hosting — all of it good, all of it important. And Jesus didn't rebuke her for any of it. But he did tell her she was missing something. In Luke 10:38-42, we meet Martha — a woman who is working hard, serving faithfully, and slowly coming undone. And when she finally speaks up, Jesus doesn't fix her to-do list. He redirects her heart. This message is for anyone who has been so busy doing good things that they've drifted from the one thing that matters most. It's for the person who has been in the kitchen for a long time — serving, providing, holding everything together — and hasn't stopped long enough to just be with Jesus. Big Idea: You can be doing a lot and miss what matters most. The presence of Jesus isn't found when everything else gets done — it's found when you choose to slow down and be with Him.     The Narrow Door | Don't Just Stand Near It | Luke 13:22-30

    Jesus said something that stopped people in their tracks — and it should stop us too. In Luke 13:22-30, someone asks Jesus a simple question: "Lord, will those who are saved be few?" Jesus doesn't answer the question. Instead, he turns it around and makes it personal. Don't wonder about everyone else, he says. Strive to enter through the narrow door — because many who think they're in, won't be. This is one of the most sobering passages in all of Scripture. And Jesus said it because he loved people too much to let them stay comfortable in a false assumption. Big Idea: The door to salvation is narrow. The opportunity to enter is limited. The decision to choose is personal. Strive now to enter through Jesus Christ.     Where Is Jesus? | Finding Him When Life Goes Off Script | Luke 2:41-52

    Have you ever been certain you knew exactly where Jesus was in your life — only to realize you were looking in the wrong place? In this message from Luke 2:41-52, we look at the only story Scripture gives us from the childhood of Jesus. Mary and Joseph lose track of Jesus for three days — not because they were careless, but because he wasn't where they expected him to be. And when they finally find him, his answer stops them cold. This passage has something urgent to say to anyone who has ever felt like Jesus was distant, or like life has taken a detour you didn't plan for.     Starting Small | God Starts Small and Grows Big | Luke 13:18-21

    What if God is already at work — and you're missing it because it doesn't look big enough?     When All Hope Is Gone — The Resurrection of Jesus (Luke 24)

    This Easter Sunday, we wrap up our Path to Redemption series by walking through the entire final chapter of the Gospel of Luke — the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Last week, darkness fell over the land. Jesus was crucified, buried in a borrowed tomb, and the stone was sealed. It looked like the end of everything. But God does His greatest work when it looks like all hope is gone. Three truths from Luke 24: The empty tomb confronts your doubts — Your worst moment is not your final moment. Our infinite God is not limited by what looks to be final.The risen Jesus walks with you in your confusion — Just as He walked with the disciples on the road to Emmaus, Jesus meets you where you are. When you see Jesus clearly, everything else starts to make sense.The risen Jesus calls you to live as a witness — The resurrection doesn't just give you hope — it gives you a mission.The big idea: The resurrection of Jesus turns desperation into hope — and it calls for a life-changing response. Key verse: "O death, where is your victory? O death, where is your sting?" — 1 Corinthians 15:55 Next step: Move from simply believing in the resurrection to living as a witness of the resurrection.     The Path to Redemption (Part 4) | The Foot of the Cross | What Your Response Reveals | Luke 23

    In Part 4 of the Path to Redemption series, we arrive at the cross. And what happens here doesn't just tell us about what Jesus endured — it tells us about every heart that was present. Because how people responded to Jesus in his darkest moment revealed exactly who they were and what they really believed. The crowd chose Barabbas over Jesus. A guilty murderer over an innocent savior. It wasn't the first time people had traded the real thing for a cheap substitute — and it won't be the last. We're still doing it today. Career. Comfort. Politics. Religion. We commit to all kinds of things and sometimes never fully surrender to Jesus Christ. The religious leaders and soldiers mocked him. They said if you're really the king, save yourself. But here's the irony they missed entirely: if Jesus had saved himself, he could not have saved us. What looked like weakness was God's rescue plan unfolding — foreknown before the foundations of the world. And then there was one man. Nailed to a cross beside Jesus. No time for good works. No time to clean up his life. No time to get religious. All he could do was repent and ask for mercy. And Jesus said, today you will be with me in paradise. The ground is level at the foot of the cross. You are not saved because you're good enough. You are saved because God is perfectly and eternally good.
