Wa'ndong & Wa'fuma-ah: The Hunter becomes The Hunted

When a skilled hunter sets out to conquer everything in his path, he is unaware that his reckoning lies in something ancient. Your host Mirriam Ekei Buo brings you the first of stories from a series on Wa'ndong and Wa'fuma-ah. Wa'ndong and Wa'fuma-ah are characters from Aghem folktales. They are not fixed people but often symbolic names given to characters whose relational dynamic often places them against each other. Rooted in ancestral wisdom and whispered warnings, this story explores the price of pride, and the haunting truth that sometimes... reckoning arrives by sly and less obvious means.
