Episode 107: Healing the Fear of Being Too Much

Episode 107: Healing the Fear of Being Too Much Have you ever caught yourself shrinking your personality, softening your opinions, downplaying your excitement, or making yourself smaller because you were afraid of being “too much”? Too loud. Too emotional. Too passionate. Too ambitious. Too sensitive. Too honest. Too intense. Sometimes the fear of being too much isn’t really about who we are — it’s about what we’ve learned might happen when we allow ourselves to be fully seen. In this episode of The Spiritual Gangster Podcast, we explore where that fear comes from, how it quietly shapes the way we show up, and what it looks like to stop editing ourselves for the comfort of others. We talk about the difference between self-awareness and self-abandonment, recognizing the places where we’ve learned to shrink, and giving ourselves permission to take up space without constantly questioning whether we’re asking for too much or being too much. Because healing isn’t about becoming less intense, less passionate, less emotional, or less you. It’s about realizing that you were never meant to spend your life making yourself smaller just to make yourself easier for someone else to hold. ✨ Where have you been shrinking yourself? ✨ Who taught you that parts of you were “too much”? ✨ What might change if you stopped apologizing for taking up space? You don’t need to dim yourself to belong. Protect your peace, trust your intuition, own your story — and keep living like the spiritual gangsters you are. 💚✨

Episode 105: Meeting the Parts of You that You Avoid

Episode 105: Meeting the Parts of You that You Avoid We all have parts of ourselves we’d rather not look at too closely—the insecurity, anger, jealousy, fear, grief, or old wounds we thought we had already moved past. But avoiding those parts doesn’t make them disappear. In Episode 105 of The Spiritual Gangster Podcast, we’re talking about what happens when we stop running from the pieces of ourselves that feel uncomfortable and start meeting them with curiosity instead of judgment. Growth isn’t always about becoming a “better” version of yourself. Sometimes it’s about understanding the version of you that learned to protect, perform, stay quiet, stay guarded, or survive. Those parts aren’t necessarily something to fix or get rid of. They may simply be asking to be understood. We explore what it looks like to notice our triggers without immediately reacting to them, get curious about the patterns we keep repeating, and make space for emotions we’ve been taught to suppress or avoid. You don’t have to love every part of yourself immediately. You don’t even have to fully understand it. But there’s something powerful about being willing to sit with yourself long enough to ask, “What is this part of me trying to tell me?” Because healing isn’t only found in the parts of ourselves we’re proud of. Sometimes the greatest growth begins when we’re finally willing to meet the parts we’ve been avoiding. Protect your peace. Trust your intuition. Own your story. And keep living like the spiritual gangsters you are.

    Episode 104 Guest Spotlight - 3Bs On a Mission

Disclaimer: The views, opinions, experiences, and beliefs expressed by guests on The Spiritual Gangster Podcast are their own and do not necessarily reflect those of the host, The Spiritual Gangster Podcast, or its affiliates. This podcast is intended for informational, educational, and entertainment purposes only and should not be considered medical, legal, financial, psychological, or professional advice. Episode 104 is a Guest Spotlight with a little bit of a full-circle twist. When this conversation was originally recorded, my guests were the women behind 3Bs on a Mission — and at the time, I was simply their guest host for a conversation on The Spiritual Gangster Podcast. None of us knew that this episode would end up opening the door to something more. After we recorded, our connection continued. Eventually, I was invited to join them, 3Bs on a Mission evolved into B’s on a Mission, and today, I’m one of the co-hosts. So this episode captures a really unique moment in time: the conversation that happened before I became one of the B’s. We dive into spirituality, spiritual awakening, the experiences that shift the way we see ourselves and the world around us, and what it means to follow the unexpected paths that begin opening when we start listening to that deeper pull. It’s a conversation about connection, growth, awakening, and those moments that may seem ordinary while they’re happening — only to make perfect sense when we look back later. Sometimes one conversation really can change the direction of things. 🎙️ Episode 104: Guest Spotlight — 3Bs on a Mission Connect with B's on a Mission!✨ YouTube: https://youtube.com/@bsonamissionpodcast?si=8FVZjg9Sf0r3gLt3 Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/share/1F3b4FDpb9/ Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/show/63KQ6T9CVcIZ2Nun4DwxYo?si=UcKCdrgNTyedVMEH_tu5VA&utm_source=copy-link
