  1. OPERATION 01 — Mission 04 | First Strike: Submission to the Process

    MAY 12

OPERATION 01 — Mission 04 | First Strike: Submission to the Process

The forge is not just about heat. It is not just about sparks, pressure, or the sound of metal under stress. The forge only does its work when the metal stops fighting the hand of the Smith. In this episode of The Ready Room Broadcast, Patrick Nash and Erin Dunn step back into Fleet Commander Brandon’s Mission Briefing for FIRST STRIKE: Submission to the Process, the final mission of Operation 01 — Ignition Point. This mission brings the crew to the decisive moment where surrender becomes specific. It is one thing to say, “God, shape me,” when the process feels inspiring. It is another thing when shaping means correction, obedience before full emotional agreement, releasing control, and trusting God’s hand when the hammer actually comes down. Patrick and Erin expand the theological core of the briefing, including the difference between pressure and formation, the danger of controlled cooperation, the fatherly purpose of discipline, and the call to stay on the anvil when God begins dealing with the places we would rather protect. This episode also closes Operation 01 — Ignition Point and prepares the crew for Operation 02 — The Crucible, where pressure reveals what comfort kept hidden. Scripture references used in this episode: Romans 12:1–2 Isaiah 64:8 Hebrews 12:5–11 Psalm 37:5–7 Jeremiah 18:1–6 Luke 9:23–24 1 Samuel 15:22–23 Luke 6:46 Proverbs 12:1 Colossians 3:23–24 Ephesians 4:22–24 Philippians 1:6 If anything we covered today hit home, take time this week to ask where God is calling for a specific yes. Not a vague yes. Not a someday yes. A surrendered yes. Exploring God. Empowering People. Charting New Faith Frontiers.

  2. OPERATION 01 — Mission 03 | What God Is Starting in You

    MAY 5

OPERATION 01 — Mission 03 | What God Is Starting in You

Before the blaze starts, before the forge roars, before the weapon takes shape, there is always a spark. In this episode of The Ready Room Broadcast, Patrick Nash and Erin Dunn return to Fleet Commander Brandon’s Mission Briefing, KINDLING CHECK — What God Is Starting in You, and expand the after-action discussion around the early signs of God’s refining work. This mission focuses on the beginning stages of spiritual formation — the moments when God starts working beneath the surface before everything looks polished, complete, or easy to explain. Patrick and Erin discuss how conviction is not condemnation, how disruption can become diagnosis, how holy discomfort may be evidence of spiritual awakening, and how renewed hunger for God is a sign of life. This episode helps listeners discern what God may be starting in them and how to respond before the spark gets smothered by fear, distraction, delay, or old patterns. If you have been sensing conviction, disruption, discomfort, or a renewed hunger for God, this episode is an invitation to slow down, consider your ways, and respond while the coals are still hot. Scripture references used in this episode: Luke 24:32 Acts 2:37–39 2 Corinthians 7:10 Haggai 1:5–7 Proverbs 3:5–6 Revelation 3:19 Psalm 51:10–12 Hebrews 12:10–11 Matthew 5:6 Psalm 42:1–2 Psalm 119:59–60 Zechariah 4:10 If anything in this episode hit home, do not let it stay vague. Take one faithful step this week. Name the conviction. Examine the disruption. Stop numbing the discomfort. Feed the hunger God is awakening. Protect the kindling. Exploring God. Empowering People. 3. OPERATION 01 — Mission 02 | False Power Failure

    APR 28

    OPERATION 01 — Mission 02 | False Power Failure

False power can look impressive for a moment. It can sound spiritual, feel energizing, move fast, and create the appearance of momentum. But when pressure rises, borrowed strength starts to fail. In this episode of The Ready Room Broadcast, Patrick Nash and Erin Dunn return to Fleet Commander Brandon’s Mission Briefing, Mission 02 — FALSE POWER FAILURE: When Shortcuts Make You Weak, and expand the after-action discussion around spiritual shortcuts, false empowerment, and the danger of confusing surface-level momentum with real formation. This conversation explores why fast growth is not always deep growth, why hearing truth is not the same as obeying truth, and why God refuses to build lasting strength through artificial power. Patrick and Erin talk through the difference between spiritual simulation and real discipleship, the warning of Samson’s assumed strength, the danger of having the appearance of godliness without surrendered dependence, and the quiet endurance God forms through discipline, obedience, repentance, and hidden faithfulness. This mission is part of Campaign 02 — Forged in Fire, where Power Up Church is focusing on pressure, refinement, endurance, obedience, and the strength God forms in His people through hardship. Scripture References: 1 Corinthians 10:23 Proverbs 25:28 Mark 4:16–17 James 1:22 Judges 16:20 2 Timothy 3:1–9 2 Corinthians 4:7 John 16:33 Hebrews 12:11 1 Corinthians 9:24–27 Luke 16:10–12 1 Peter 5:10 1 Peter 1:6–7 Ephesians 6:10–13 Galatians 6:9 Colossians 2:6–7 Psalm 26:2 Lamentations 3:40 1 Timothy 4:7–8 Matthew 6:6 Romans 5:3–5 If anything we covered today hit home, take time this week to ask where you have been chasing quick spiritual relief instead of real spiritual formation. Let God expose the shortcut, strengthen the roots, and forge something in you that can stand. Exploring God. Empowering People. Charting New Faith Frontiers.

    MAR 31

    OPERATION 08 — Mission 07 | Sloth Alert — Mission Neglect

Send us Fan Mail In this episode of The Ready Room Broadcast, Patrick Nash and Erin Dunn head back into Operation 08 — Mission 07 and break down Fleet Commander Brandon Holm’s Mission Briefing on sloth as mission neglect. This conversation goes deeper than the surface idea of laziness. Sloth is exposed as spiritual drift, delayed obedience, passive disengagement, and the slow surrender of readiness. Patrick and Erin unpack how comfort can become a lock, how “later” can become a hiding place, and why neglected rhythms of prayer, scripture, repentance, and follow-through leave the soul undertrained and vulnerable. If you have ever felt yourself easing off the mission without a dramatic collapse—still present, still saying the right things, but losing sharpness, urgency, and movement—this episode is for you. The crew walks through the theological weight of the Mission Briefing and brings it into real life with practical ways to interrupt drift, rebuild discipline, and return to faithful movement. Mission focus: Sloth is not just doing nothing. It is quitting by inches. But mission neglect does not have to stay mission neglect. Through small faithful steps, Spirit-led consistency, and renewed obedience, drift can be interrupted and readiness can be rebuilt. 5. OPERATION 08 — Mission 06 | WRATH ALERT — Redline Aggression Breach

    MAR 26

    OPERATION 08 — Mission 06 | WRATH ALERT — Redline Aggression Breach

Send us Fan Mail  Patrick and Erin return to Mission 06 to examine wrath as anger that has crossed into destruction. They explore God’s holy wrath, Jesus’ righteous anger, and the sinful wrath that grows out of pride, entitlement, fear, revenge, and control. This episode focuses on Spirit-led restraint, clean confrontation, forgiveness, fast repair, and peacemaking that protects the crew instead of scorching the room.  Wrath is not just anger with volume. It is anger past containment — anger that stops serving truth and starts serving punishment. In this Ready Room Broadcast after-action report, Patrick and Erin break down Mission 06 and walk through the difference between divine wrath, righteous anger, and sinful human wrath. They unpack the internal scripts that drive destructive reactions, why wrath damages families, friendships, leadership, and community life, and how the Holy Spirit forms restraint, repair, forgiveness, and peacemaking in their place. This episode slows down on the key theological distinctions from Fleet Commander Brandon’s Mission Briefing and makes them practical. What do you do when anger feels justified? How do you tell the difference between conviction and retaliation? What does repentance look like when your words became a weapon? And how do you confront what is wrong without becoming destructive yourself? If wrath is redline aggression breach, this episode is about learning how to keep conviction under command.
