Jacy survived with a traumatic brain injury so severe she lost two months of memory and had to relearn how to talk, eat, and dress herself. She spent four months in the hospital and years in rehabilitation, and lives today with permanent paralysis on the left side of her body. Today Jacy runs Hang Up and Drive, delivering 150 to 160 speeches a year, largely to schools, alongside her husband Steve, who has been by her side since before she woke up from the crash.
