    The Deeper Read: S3E7 - The Night Jacob Became Israel

    Jacob is going home—and Esau is coming to meet him with four hundred men. But first, Jacob spends one final night alone, wrestling with a mysterious stranger until daybreak. By morning, he’ll have a wounded hip, a new name, and an identity that will eventually belong to an entire people. In the Season Three finale of The Deeper Read, we’re reading Genesis 32–33 and asking what may be the defining question of Jacob’s story: What’s your name?
