    God Can Use You

Do you really believe that God can use you? What if you came to see that God has already aligned your life in the exact way for him to use?

    Ephesians 2:14-15

In Ephesians 2:14–15, Paul explains that Jesus Himself is our peace, breaking down the walls of hostility that separated Jews and Gentiles. Through His death on the cross, Christ removed the barriers created by the law and brought divided people together as one new people in Him. The cross not only reconciles us to God but also makes reconciliation with one another possible. What once divided us, Christ came to unite through His grace and peace.

    Ephesians 2:11-13

Ephesians 2:11–13 reminds us of the incredible distance between who we once were and who we are now because of Christ. Paul tells Gentile believers to remember that they were once outsiders—separated from God’s people, strangers to the covenant promises, without hope, and without God in the world. Their greatest problem was not simply that they were far from Israel, but that they were far from God Himself. Yet verse 13 gives the glorious turning point: “But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ.” Through Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross, those who were once separated from God can now come near to Him. The gospel is the story of God taking people who were hopelessly distant and bringing them into His presence—not because they earned their way in, but because Jesus paid the price to bring them near. Ephesians 2:11–13 calls us to remember where we came from, rejoice in what Christ has done, and never take for granted the privilege of being near to God.

    The Value of Your Soul

You can have everything—and have nothing. You can gain the world and lose yourself. You can have money in the bank and emptiness in your heart. You can have success on earth and no hope for eternity. You can be admired by people and rejected by God. You can win every battle the world can see and lose the battle that matters most. Because the greatest thing you possess is not your house. It is not your career. It is not your reputation. It is not your retirement. It is your soul.

    Ephesians 2:1-10

In Ephesians 2:1–10, Paul reminds us of the incredible transformation brought about by the grace of God. We were once spiritually dead in our sin, separated from God and unable to save ourselves, but God, rich in mercy and great in love, made us alive together with Christ. Salvation is not something we earn through good works—it is a gift received by faith. And yet, God has saved us for a purpose: to live as His workmanship, walking in the good works He prepared for us. This passage calls us to remember where we came from, celebrate what Christ has done, and live out the new life we have been given by grace.

    Acts 19:1-10

Acts 19:1–10 describes Paul’s ministry in Ephesus and highlights the difference between knowing about God and truly knowing Christ through the Holy Spirit. Paul encounters several disciples who had only received John the Baptist’s baptism, revealing that their understanding of the gospel was incomplete. After hearing about Jesus, they are baptized in His name, and Paul lays hands on them, resulting in the Holy Spirit coming upon them. Paul then boldly proclaims the gospel in the synagogue, reasoning with the Jews about the kingdom of God. When some stubbornly reject the message, Paul separates the disciples and continues teaching daily in the hall of Tyrannus. For two years, Paul faithfully teaches the Word, and God uses this ministry to spread the gospel throughout the region. The passage reminds us that genuine faith centers on Jesus, depends upon the work of the Holy Spirit, and requires faithful, persistent proclamation of God’s Word—even when some people refuse to believe.

    Ephesians 1:15-23

Ephesians 1:15–23 is Paul’s prayer that believers would not merely know about God, but truly know Him and understand the greatness of what He has given them in Christ. Having heard of their faith and love, Paul continually gives thanks for them and asks God to give them spiritual wisdom and revelation so that they would know the hope of their calling, the glorious riches of their inheritance, and the immeasurable greatness of His power toward those who believe. That same power is the power God displayed when He raised Christ from the dead, exalted Him above every authority and name, and placed all things under His feet. Christ is not only supreme over all creation—He is the head of the church, His body, which is the fullness of Him who fills all in all. Paul’s prayer reminds us that the Christian life is not about discovering a new source of power, but awakening to the reality of the power, hope, inheritance, and authority we already possess because we belong to the risen and reigning Christ.
