Fall Is a Personality and We're Not Apologizing

🎙 Episode 73: Fall Is a Personality and We're Not Apologizing   Some people see cooler weather. We see cozy blankets, oversized sweatshirts, pumpkin everything, spooky season, comfort food, and a perfectly reasonable excuse to make our entire lives look like a fall Pinterest board. 🍂 And no, we will not be taking questions at this time.   In this episode, we’re talking about:   ✨ Why fall isn't just a season, it's a whole mood and possibly a core personality trait ✨ The candles, cozy drinks, decorations, and little rituals that make us unreasonably happy ✨ Romanticizing the everyday and finding joy in the small things ✨ Why some of us are emotionally attached to fall before the temperature even drops ✨ The comfort of seasonal traditions, nostalgia, and making our own little moments of happiness ✨ Why we're fully embracing what we love, even if everyone else thinks we've lost the plot   Because sometimes joy looks like a perfectly basic pumpkin drink, a ridiculously cozy blanket, and being excited about something just because it makes you happy.   Respectfully... if loving fall is wrong, we're not interested in being right. Pass the pumpkin coffee. 🍁   ---   Let’s stay connected!   📲 Instagram: @respectfullyno.pod 📧 respectfullyno.pod@gmail.com 🎧 Listen on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and Podbean.   If this episode hit home, share it with a friend. Found Family & The People Who Show Up

🎙 Episode 72: Found Family & The People Who Show Up   We grow up hearing that family is everything. That blood is thicker than water, that family comes first, and that the people we're related to will always be there for us. But sometimes, the people who feel the most like home aren't related to us at all. ❤️   In this episode, we’re talking about:   ✨ What found family really means and why some friendships become something deeper ✨ The people who show up for us, not because they have to, but because they genuinely want to ✨ The difference between being related to someone and actually feeling connected to them ✨ How friendships can become our safe places through life's hardest seasons and biggest changes ✨ Learning to appreciate the people who consistently show up instead of chasing the ones who don't ✨ Giving ourselves permission to build a circle that feels like love, support, and belonging   Because family isn't always about who shares your last name or your DNA. Sometimes it's the friend who answers the phone, remembers the little things, sits with you in the hard moments, and chooses you over and over again.   Respectfully... family might be who you're born to, but your people are the ones who show up. And that kind of love deserves to be celebrated.   ---   Let’s stay connected!   📲 Instagram: @respectfullyno.pod 📧 respectfullyno.pod@gmail.com 🎧 Listen on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and Podbean.   If this episode hit home, share it with a friend. Both. I Went Through It and I Finally Get It (Sorta)

🎙 Episode 70: Both. I Went Through It and I Finally Get It (Sorta) Sometimes you can't understand a chapter while you're still living in it. You have to get some distance, let the dust settle, and become a little more of yourself before you can finally look back and think, “Oh... I get it now.” In this episode, we’re talking about: ✨ The things we had to live through before we could truly understand them ✨ How distance can give us perspective that we simply couldn't have while we were in the middle of it ✨ The moments when something finally clicks and we understand why a particular experience changed us ✨ Realizing that some of our reactions, patterns, fears, or strengths make a whole lot more sense when we look back at where they came from ✨ The difference between knowing what happened and actually understanding what it meant ✨ Making peace with old versions of ourselves who were doing the best they could with what they knew at the time Because sometimes healing isn't forgetting what happened. It's finally being able to look at it from a different place and understand the woman it created. Respectfully... sometimes the clarity doesn't come until you're far enough away to finally see the whole damn picture.
