This is a public episode. If you'd like to discuss this with other subscribers or get access to bonus episodes, visit magicdivorceclub.substack.com/subscribe My love, This month’s Magic Divorce Club workshop is now ready to watch above. We’re covering the legal side of divorce in 3 parts * Why the legal stuff is so triggering in the first place, and what you can do about it * How to find your voice and actually speak up for yourself, including a short ceremony to help you connect to your voice and what’s true for you. * Exactly how I use AI as a buffer. A gatekeeper for your emotions, so your body doesn’t have to be the shock absorber for every message, every email, every bit of legal noise that comes your way. 👇There’s also an AI workbook, attached below the paywall, with the exact prompts I use. If you’re not LUXE yet, you can watch the opening for free, and then either grab this workshop on its own here or upgrade to LUXE here: Joining LUXE gives you this workshop plus the full library of monthly workshops, and Magic Mondays (live every Monday at 10am). Next month’s workshop is one I’m genuinely excited about: Productivity for Divorce. Not to rush divorce, because often you can’t … but it is possible to use productivity tips, as unsexy as that might sound, to stop it taking over the rest of your life. This is … How to contain it, move through the load with less dread, rejuvenate in the middle of it and protect your energy for your kids, your work, and you. More on that soon. I’d love to hear how you found today’s workshop so please do reply and tell me what you liked, what shifted for you and what you want more of. As always, you’ve got this. And I’ve got you. Ep 34: How to stop living in reaction mode during divorce

Hi love, This week’s Magic Divorce Club podcast is a little different as I’m sharing Part 3 of my free series, When Divorce Feels Like Too Much. This is the session where I talk through the bigger Calm-First Method I use with divorcing mums who are tired of living in reaction mode. Ep 34: How to stop living in reaction mode during divorce Because it’s not just one message, handover, legal email or child wobble. It’s all of it. Divorce has a way of pulling you back into urgency, panic, over-explaining, people-pleasing, shutting down, or trying to fix everything all while you feel completely unsafe. In this episode, I’ll walk you through: * why quick tools help, but repetition and support matter * the Steady. Settle. Choose. method * the 4 main trigger zones I see during divorce. * why calm is not weakness or compliance * why steadiness is what helps you make clearer decisions, protect your energy, and come back to yourself » Watch above with the slides or listen wherever you get your podcasts. If you watch this week’s episode and find yourself thinking, “I need the right kind of support,” enrolment is now open for The Calm-First Method for Divorcing Mums. It’s my 10-week live programme for separated or divorcing mums who are in the thick of it and want to stop losing whole days and weeks to divorce triggers, so you can steady yourself, protect your energy and choose your next steps with more calm, dignity and self-trust. You can read all the details here: You’ve got this. And I’ve got you.Hannah XOX This is a public episode. 3. Ep 33: Why divorce advice sometimes makes everything worse

    May 7

Ep 33: Why divorce advice sometimes makes everything worse

Hi lovely, Today’s podcast is about something I think so many women experience in divorce… myself included … but don’t always realise it’s happening. When you’re trying to do all the “right” things, get all the right information, listen to the podcasts, ready the advice, talk to solicitors … then by the time you’re trying to make a good decision you’re already overwhelmed. Then another email arrives.A handover is coming up.Your ex sends a message. And suddenly your whole body goes into panic. Your chest tightens.Your brain seems to be completely against you. You can’t think straight.Everything feels too much. And then the really frustrating part? The advice that was supposed to help becomes triggering too. There are just too many words, too many options, too many things to ‘get wrong’. That’s what I’m talking about in today’s episode: When advice stops being useful… It’s not that you’re weak or dramatic or “not coping properly”. It’s that your body is bracing before your brain has even caught up. And this is exactly why I created my new free 3-part series: When Divorce Feels Like Too Much Part 1 is available now and walks you through what to do in the first 10 minutes after a trigger, so you’re less likely to lose the whole day to panic, spiralling, overthinking or shutdown. Then Part 2 goes live tomorrow and we go deeper into how to stop divorce getting unlimited access to your nervous system, your sleep, your energy and your life. » Listen to today’s podcast above or wherever you get your podcasts » And then watch Part 1 here or save it for later: You don’t have to keep living in reaction mode. You’ve got this. And I’ve got you.Hannah XOX PS Save the Date Part 3 of When Divorce Feels Like Too Much is live on Wednesday 13th May at midday. I’ll walk you through my Calm-First Method, and how it helps you steady yourself and settle the spiral, so you can choose your next steps with intention instead of living in constant reaction mode. Ep 32: What Women Actually Need in Divorce, and It’s Not More Advice

My love, This week’s podcast is about something I’ve learned very clearly over the last year: When you’re going through divorce, you usually do not need more advice first. Ep 32: What Women Actually Need in Divorce, and It’s Not More Advice In this episode, I’m sharing what I’ve learned about what women actually need in divorce. I’ve also created something free for next week to celebrate Magic Divorce Club turning one! It’s called: When Divorce Feels Like Too MuchA free 3-part series for divorcing mums Part 1 goes live on Monday, so make sure you’re subscribed to the MDC here: I’ll be sharing the details tomorrow. What about you? You may have been here a year now and never told me what’s really going on for you. So please do accept this invitation: this is your time, and i’d love to hear from you. Imagine we’re sat over a coffee (oat chai, hot choc, whatever you fancy), then answer these 2 questions for me... 1. What is the moment in divorce that knocks you off centre fastest?2. When that happens, what do you most wish you had help with? I’d really love to hear it in your words. It can be one line and it doesn’t need to be polished. I know you may be here quietly reading and never usually reply, but you matter and I want to know what’s going on. Thank you so much and I’ll get back to you, personally, asap (if you don’t hear from me, check your spam). You’ve got this. And I’ve got you.Hannah XOX PS Links from this episode:Magic Divorce Club / SubstackHow to divorce Sober This is a public episode. 6. Ep 31: It’s not really about the house

    Apr 23

Ep 31: It’s not really about the house

My love, Here’s this week’s Magic Divorce Club podcast episode: Ep 31: It’s not really about the house Why housing decisions in divorce feel so loaded, and what’s actually underneath them If the house feels like the hardest part of divorce, you are not being dramatic because very often, the decisions you need to make aren’t actually about the house. It is about what’s IN the house. What the house represents. What it has held. What you think you might lose. In this episode, I talk about why the house can carry so much emotional weight in divorce. * Safety. * Motherhood. * Identity. * Money. * Grief. * The future you thought you were going to have. And WHY you might be feeling stuck. I also talk about: * why moving can feel far more unsettling in your body than you expect * why staying is not always the safest option * why selling is not failure * why change can feel dangerous, even when it may actually be better for you * why there can be different parts of you wanting different things at the same time If where you’re going to live has been a hard issue for you, I think this episode will help you feel less alone with it. Listen above or wherever you get your podcasts. And if you are listening and thinking yes, this is exactly the part I’m stuck in, this month’s Magic Divorce Club workshop next Wednesday is here to help with both sides of it. What Happens to the House? Wednesday 29 April at 12pm UK This is emotional support first, practical clarity second. So not a huge overwhelming info dump. A steadier space to help you work through both the practical questions and the emotional weight they are carrying. You can reserve your place here: Please note, this workshop is included for LUXE members, you can upgrade your membership here. If decisions around the house feel huge, that because they are. It’s so much more than just a house and you don’t have to figure it all out today. You’ve got this. And I’ve got you. Hannah XOX PS Show notes In this episode I mention: * the shame triggers around motherhood - inspired by Brene Brown * An earlier MDC episode: * the earlier episode with Suzie on the practical side of the house question: * This months’s workshop What Happens to the House? on Wednesday 29 April This is a public episode.
