    Summer Self-Care for Sensitive & Overstimulated Souls

    There's so much pressure to have the perfect summer body, the hot girl summer, the 10-step routine and honestly? I want to offer something different. In this episode, I'm talking about what summertime self-care actually looks like when we remove the pressure and just tune in to what we actually need. Not just rest, not just hustle but real, feel-good care that moves with the season. Because summer is also a time of overstimulation. Long days, social events, heat, all the things and if you've been feeling more tired, agitated, or just a little off lately, this one's for you. I break it down into three areas (body, mind, and soul) and share the real things I personally do to stay grounded and nourished when summer starts to feel like too much.     Cozy Ways to Celebrate Earth Day 🌎

    Happy Earth Day!! In this week's episode, I'm sharing everything I love about Earth Day (one of my favorite holidays) — from its history and how it all began in 1970, to practical, cozy, and totally doable ways you can celebrate. I also read one of my favorite poet's (Mary Oliver) poem, "When I Am Among the Trees," which I think is the perfect Earth Day reminder to slow down, get outside, and reconnect with nature. I also share my own Earth Day celebration this year — I planted my very first garden! In the desert! No excuses dear friends.     Breathe, Clear, Bloom: A Spring Self-Care Reset with Valerie Sorrentino

    On this week’s episode, I sat down with my magical lifelong friend and Sacred Self-Care Specialist Valerie Sorrentino and we got into everything - spring cleaning, space clearing, breathwork, and what it actually means to take care of yourself in a real and sustainable way. Valerie breaks down the four distinct stages of spring cleaning: decluttering, organizing, cleaning, and decorating - and why they are actually four completely separate activities (this honestly changed the way I think about it). We also talk about why your physical environment is a direct reflection of your internal world, and how clearing your space can help clear your mind at the same time. We get into breathwork and pranayama too, which is something Valerie has been studying and teaching for over 25 years. She explains the difference between breathwork and pranayama, walks through some foundational breathing techniques for anxiety relief, mental clarity, and overall wellbeing, and shares why something as simple as the way you breathe can completely transform how you feel day to day. We also talk about the resistance that comes up when you're trying to do any of this. Whether that's the resistance to starting a big declutter project, the resistance to slowing down, or just the resistance to taking up space for yourself at all. This one left me feeling inspired, lighter, and I’m ready to go sweep my front doorstep right now!
