The One History.     On this episode of "One History, Many Voices: The Tarrant County Chronicles", we commemorate Juneteenth with former Judge Maryellen Hicks. The first African American and female municipal court judge appointed in Fort Worth joins us to explain how judicial law has evolved both nationally and internationally, and if Tarrant County laws have truly progressed since the 1970's.     On today's special episode of " One History, Many Voices "The Tarrant County Chronicles, the late Franklin Moss examines the significant social and political changes that Texas has experienced over the past 40 years. Serving two terms as a Fort Worth city councilman for District 5, Franklin Moss recalls the policies and challenges that he had to confront in order to elevate African- American communities through a lifelong pursuit towards community restoration initiatives. We were honored and privileged to sit down with Frank Moss before his passing on December 14, 2025.
