Stress Test with Chaitanya Geddam

Chaitanya Geddam has spent two decades inside some of the most complex, highest-stakes data environments there are — first in financial services, now in mining and metals. The industries differ. The pattern he's watched repeat doesn't: a governance framework that looks solid on paper, and the very different question of whether it survives contact with a regulator, an audit or a bad deployment. On this episode of AI Trust Talks, he tells the story of a deployment that didn't go to plan — and what the post-mortem taught him that no framework ever could.Watch the full episode and tell us: does this pattern hold in your industry too?

Beyond the Quick Fix with Denise Vu Broady

Denise Vu Broady arrived in America as a refugee, raised by a single parent. Today she's Executive Vice President at Collibra — and in between, she's built a career, and written books, around one instinct: making intimidating, technical ideas usable for the people who actually have to act on them.On this episode of AI Trust Talks, Denise takes on two ideas she thinks have quietly cost the industry more than anyone admits: "data is the new oil," and the assumption that data governance is fundamentally IT's job. She also gets into what governing data for a government teaches you that the private sector still hasn't learned.Watch the episode, then tell us which myth you think does more harm than good.

You Are What You Eat with Stijn Christiaens

In 2008, while the global financial system was falling apart, four researchers spun a company out of a university lab in Brussels. Nobody was funding software start-ups that year — but the banks drowning in new regulation needed exactly what they'd built.Eighteen years later, Collibra is Belgium's first unicorn, and its co-founder Stijn Christiaens still carries a title most people have never heard: Chief Data Citizen. He also runs Collibra's own internal data office — using the product he co-founded the way any other customer would, rough edges included. On this episode of AI Trust Talks, Stijn talks through founding a company inside a crisis, why he thinks "everyone is a data citizen" is a job description rather than a slogan, and what two decades of hype cycles — big data, data lakes, data mesh, now AI — have actually taught him about which ones deliver and which ones just consume budget.Watch the episode, then tell us: which hype cycle wasted the most budget where you work?

Bigger. Bolder. Better: The Role of AI Governance

Bigger. Bolder. Better. That was the mantra at SAP Connect UAE and it has stayed with me since, because it puts words to exactly how I'm building Responsible Innovation. A bigger impact means taking bolder moves. And bolder moves only hold if they come with better alignment to your values. Ambition without alignment is how organisations can stall in their Al journey. It was also running through my mind during a conversation I filmed at SAP Connect with Tudor Borlea from Colllibra, which I'm sharing today. One thing we kept coming back to: in Al safety, the right analogy does more than explain it helps people prioritise. When governance is understood as what makes bold moves possible, rather than what slows them down, it stops being a compliance conversation and becomes a business one. Thank you, Tudor and the Collibra team - a conversation worth reflecting on.
