How Avengers Endgame Encore Sets Up Doomsday!

We just got out of the IMAX theater for the Avengers: Endgame Encore, and we need to talk about exactly how those new post-credits scenes are directly setting up Avengers: Doomsday. Is Doctor Doom coming for the Hulk? Did the Avengers' time heist actually create the multiverse incursions? We break down everything you need to know about Doom's master plan and why he might actually see the Avengers as the villains. We’re talking about the shocking Daredevil: Born Again non-renewal and what it means for the MCU's massive pivot to the mutants and the X-Men. Plus, we react to the weird new Vision Quest teaser, the fan backlash over Hal Jordan's fate in the DCU Lanterns series, and the wild rumors that Christopher Nolan is stepping in to direct a Star Wars movie. Later in the show, we hit our character deep dive on the true comic origin of Captain America—proving why Steve Rogers is the most misunderstood hero in comics and how he stands up against corrupt governments. Then, I take one for the team on the Road to Doomsday by rewatching Thor: Love and Thunder so you don't have to (spoiler: it's the absolute worst MCU movie ever made). Finally, Adrian brings the heat with a Hidden Gem. Will Doctor Doom be in Avengers Endgame Encore? + The Craziest Doomsday Theories!

Is Doctor Doom actually about to crash the Avengers: Endgame Encore release? With Marvel putting Endgame back on premium screens with brand new scenes and an exclusive look ahead, we break down how Marvel Studios is secretly setting up Avengers: Doomsday and Secret Wars right under our noses. In this episode, we rank the ten craziest Avengers: Doomsday fan theories on a scale of 1 to 10—from Tony Stark’s nanotech snap accidentally creating Doom, to Steve Rogers breaking reality by staying in the past, to the real reason Doctor Strange chose the one winning timeline in Infinity War. Plus, we dive into the latest test screening leaks revealing Doomsday's massive runtime and how it compares to Endgame and Infinity War. Beyond the multiverse madness, we deliver an unfiltered deep dive into Tony Stark’s comic history: Is Iron Man actually a hero, or has he spent decades acting like an egomaniacal villain who built interdimensional gulags and wiped his best friends' minds? We also tackle the massive internet meltdown over the new PS5 Marvel’s Wolverine game, rip into why Spider-Man variants like Spider-Punk shouldn't replace Peter Parker, debate DC’s botched marketing for the Knightfall sequel, breakdown Episode 5 of HBO's Lanterns, and examine the full tactical history of the Batmobile. Is Scarlet Witch A Latverian Witch in Avengers Doomsday?

This week, we are diving deep into the wildest Avengers Doomsday rumors, specifically looking at the Darkhold connection between Victor Von Doom and Wanda Maximoff. Is Scarlet Witch actually going to return as a mind-controlled Latverian Witch? We break down the leaked costume designs and comic history to see if Doom has enslaved the MCU's most powerful magic user to act as his multiversal conduit. Plus, we talk about Spider-Man Brand New Day crushing the box office (and why ticket inflation matters when comparing it to Titanic), the latest X-Men casting leaks for Rogue, Angel, and Beast, and what went wrong with episode four of the DCU Lanterns show. Later, Adrian brings the heat with a Hidden Gem Finally, we pull off the blanket for an epic deep dive into the comic origins of Thor. Hulk & Bane! 2 of The Most Misunderstood Characters in ALL Comics!

Welcome back to Only Comics! This week, Mike and Adrian are taking no days off as we dive deep into the real comic book origins of some of the most misunderstood powerhouses in Marvel and DC. We break down the staggering box office domination of Spider-Man: Brand New Day and prove why superhero fatigue is a total myth. Then, we pivot to DC to review the brutal, R-rated Batman: Knightfall animated movie and explain why this is the definitive version of Bane—not the live-action disappointments we’ve been given before. But the real meat of this episode is our massive deep dive into The Incredible Hulk. We trace Bruce Banner’s tragic origins, his explosive power scaling, and the ultimate betrayal by the Illuminati that led to the legendary Planet Hulk and World War Hulk storylines. Plus, we discuss the canceled Spider-Noir series, the recasting in Amazon's God of War, and why Marvel's Echo completely missed the mark compared to Maya Lopez’s original comic run. The Avengers: Doomsday rumors are officially out of control. We’re breaking down David Harbour’s viral out-of-context quote from Doomsday and explaining why the Victor von Doom and Tony Stark fan theories make zero sense. Robert Downey Jr. is back in the MCU, but Doctor Doom is not an Iron Man variant. Plus, we break down the massive premiere numbers for HBO’s Lanterns and debate whether the DCU is finally finding its footing. We also get into the real data behind Marvel canceling Wonder Man Season 2, the wild DC trademark battle that forced Marvel to turn Changeling into Morph for X-Men: The Animated Series, and a massive deep dive into Magneto’s true Omega-level power set—proving why he’s not just a metal manipulator, but a universal force of nature. Another week, another absolute banger for the Legion of Interns! This week on Only Comics, Mike and Adrian are breaking down a massive wave of comic book news straight out of Disney’s D23. We are finally settling the debate on the Avengers: Doomsday trailer: does Robert Downey Jr. sound like Tony Stark, or are we getting a truly menacing, comic-accurate Victor Von Doom? Spider Man’s Billion Dollar Week & MCU Incursions Explained!

Spider-Man Brand New Day is absolutely demolishing the box office, hitting $1.3 billion globally in its first ten days, and we debate if it’s actually breaking records or if ticket inflation is playing tricks on us. We also dive into the wild rumors surrounding The Batman Part 2 introducing the Court of Owls, and the controversial Endgame Encore re-release that is adding new footage to the MCU timeline. But that’s just the warm-up. We are breaking down X-Men '97 Episode 8, ranting about Professor X hiding under his blanket, and unpacking the insane Gambit and Apocalypse dynamic. For our character deep dives, we pull back the curtain on the tragic, dark origin of Angel (Warren Worthington III) and how he became the bloodthirsty Archangel. Then, we pivot to the Road to Doomsday, fully explaining MCU Incursions, dream walking, and how Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness perfectly set up the collapse of the Marvel multiverse.
