The Leopard and the Tree: A Lesson in Patience, Trust & New Seasons

I celebrated my birthday recently in the Maasai Mara. What I expected to be a memorable experience became something much deeper: a lesson in patience, trust, and learning to move at the pace of life rather than the pace of expectation. In this Weekly Reset, I share the story of a leopard that stayed with me long after the safari ended, and how its behavior mirrored much of what I've been experiencing during the last six months since returning home. Together, we explore: • Why patience isn't passive • Life transitions and identity shifts • Returning home after living abroad • Adapting to unexpected seasons of life • Trusting growth when progress feels invisible • The difference between forcing and unfolding 📩 Join The Weekly Reset If you enjoy these conversations, you'll probably enjoy the newsletter as well. Reprogram Your Mind: How Beliefs Shape Your Reality

A lot of the limitations we carry aren’t facts — they’re beliefs we’ve repeated long enough that they started feeling true. Somewhere along the way, I absorbed the idea that your twenties are your “peak years,” and everything after that is decline. So when my focus started slipping or random back pain showed up, I immediately attached meaning to it. I thought something about me was fading. But then life contradicted that story. I started sleeping better, training consistently, and paying closer attention to how I was taking care of myself. And suddenly, I felt stronger, sharper, and more energized than I had in years. That experience forced me to confront something uncomfortable: A lot of the limitations we feel aren’t facts. They’re belief systems we’ve inherited and unconsciously accepted as truth. In this Weekly Reset, we explore: limiting beliefsfacts vs belief systemsidentity and self-perceptionmindset shiftsawareness and personal growthhow internal narratives shape our external livesBecause sometimes the task itself isn’t the problem. It’s the meaning we’ve attached to it. The Weekly Reset is a reflective series from Limitless Stories about making sense of your inner world during seasons of change.
