Episode 56: How Eric Woodard Gets Fully Booked Without Ads

Show Notes: In this episode of Beyond Six Figures, Ziv sits down with Eric Woodard – a Master Certified Coach with 25+ years of experience spanning the White House, U.S. Senate, State Department, and the Smithsonian. They dive into what it really takes to build a fully booked coaching practice: serving before selling, becoming a trusted agent of transformation, and creating simple, repeatable systems that don’t depend on fancy funnels or ad spend.   Episode Highlights: Eric shares his unconventional path from growing up in East Asia to logging 10,000+ scuba-instructor hours in Guam before deciding to “pull it together” and unexpectedly landing a White House internship in the Clinton administration. How his roles in the First Lady’s Office, the U.S. Senate, the State Department, and the Smithsonian shaped his views on careers, leadership, and why people struggle at work. The moment he left “the system” to launch his own coaching business and how he’s grown it into a near seven-figure practice over five years. Why logos, funnels, and tools come second and why obsessively serving people is what truly fills a coaching roster. Why clients hire based on trust, and how real coaching conversations (not sales calls) build that trust fastest. Eric shares his simple invite script: Listen deeply. Reflect their challenge. Offer: “I help people with that. Want to schedule a coaching conversation unlike any you’ve had before?” Stay unattached to their answer. Eric introduces the C-T-F-A-R model: Circumstances → Thoughts → Feelings → Actions → Results. Eric’s contrarian niching philosophy: he “coaches humans.” The real qualifier is coachability, not profession. How he grew from a solo practice to: Hiring 8–9 coaches for 1:1 work Running group programs where everyone sees him Building an enrollment team so he can focus on the business Where his clients actually come from: weekly live workshops, organic conversations, referrals, and serving people who may never pay him but often send others. Eric’s view on the world’s growing need for people willing to be true partners in transformation.   About Eric Woodard: Eric Woodard, EdD, MCC High Performance Career and Leadership Coach Dr. Eric Woodard has travelled or worked in over 70 countries. He served 25+ years at the White House, on Capitol Hill, in the U.S. State Department, and the Smithsonian Institution. His coaching relies on distinctions of agreement vs expectation, them vs you, style vs substance, depth vs breadth, serving vs pleasing, owner vs victim, empathy vs assertion, showing vs telling, commitment vs intention, professional vs social, responsibility vs control, managing vs leading, being vs doing, and knowing vs learning. Show Notes: In this powerful and thought-provoking episode of Beyond Six Figures, host Ziv Raviv sits down with transformational leader Tracy Litt, founder of The School of Becoming, international bestselling author of Worthy Human, and creator of The Choice Method and NeuroIdentity Evolution. In this conversation, Tracy reveals why you are both the problem and the solution, how fear disguises itself as confusion or procrastination, and the exact steps to make powerful choices from your future self instead of your current limitations.   Episode Highlights: Why you don’t become worthy – you were born worthy. And how the lie of “not enough” keeps high-achievers from expansion. Tracy’s four-step neurobiological framework for rewiring your brain and nervous system to handle change safely and sustainably. How every business plateau, income ceiling, and burnout cycle is really an identity issue, not a strategy problem. From an orthodontist who sold her practice to live her deeper calling to entrepreneurs who grew their revenue and reclaimed their self-trust. Why every new choice feels unsafe to your biology and how to teach your body to feel secure in expansion. How Tracy’s “vessel mindset” fuels genuine transformation and sustainable impact. Episode 53: Alan P. Brown on ADHD, Focus & Seven Revenue Streams

Show Notes: Alan P. Brown is a productivity and business coach for adults with ADHD, a former ad exec and multi-startup founder who runs seven+ revenue streams (courses, membership, group coaching, masterminds, private coaching, annual summits, and a book). After a late ADHD diagnosis and overcoming addiction and learning challenges – Alan designed a business around how his brain actually works. In this episode, he shares practical, ADHD-friendly systems for deep work, lower stress, and sustainable scale.   Episode Highlights: From undiagnosed ADHD and self-medicating to ad-agency VP, employee-of-the-year, startup exit, and finally building ADD Crusher (a non-reading, video-based system) to teach coping skills that stick. A mindset reframe from The Power of Now to instantly lower cortisol and overwhelm. Ask: Is anything actually a problem in this moment? Usually no – creating space to choose the next right action. Alan’s single-task “work session” ritual – hydrate, protein up, hot beverage, bathroom, timer – then an assertive declaration: “This is what I’m doing now.” Keep only one task on a fresh sticky (“To Do: [one thing]”). Any intrusive thought gets captured on another sticky and parked on the back of your upside-down phone – so you’ll see it after the session. Block your personal high-focus window (for Alan, 7–11 a.m.) across the week for the hardest work; no meetings, no errands. Sleep 7–8 hours, prioritize protein + fiber, and exercise 3x/week to stabilize attention and stamina. Beware “revenge bedtime procrastination.” Medication can help, but durable gains come from habits, structures, and brain-friendly workflows. Start with a self-quiz; if indicators are strong, consult a psychiatrist who specializes in ADHD. Getting the right diagnosis and treatment can transform work and relationships. How Alan built courses, a membership, group programs, masterminds, private coaching, and two summits without burning out by protecting focus, simplifying decisions, and designing for his brain.   About Alan P. Brown: Alan P. Brown is an ADHD/productivity coach, Alan created the award-winning ADD Crusher™ program. A featured speaker at conferences in the U.S. and abroad including TEDx, he’s the author of Zen and the Art of Productivity.
