How I got my life back having been told (for the 2nd time) I have Terminal Cancer. This time, without mainstream treatment, apparently, it’s less than 12 months.   3. Five years on

    Five years on

    In January the prognosis was 6-12 months. It’s July 2025 and my 7th month still here, still feeling OK. I don’t know if the alternative protocol is working as I feel pretty much the same. I’ll have new test results in a few days time so will have everything to consider then. Don’t miss it.     Alone (short poem)

    You're alone with your thoughts or so it seems But then there are all these faces of people some you may know A crowd, everyone saying something different You're trying to listen But you don’t hear anything Just a noise Then they're all gone Alone again
 Time passes like small grains of sand through a hole Never coming back Your life one piece at a time disappearing That’s no different for everyone Ask yourself Is it different from yesterday now that you have Cancer? Think about your thoughts, they're important Every day from now on you're alive until your not So living is more important than it’s ever been You have the advantage, you should know that Make a change small or big, your choice I did and I have no regrets
 Oh and don’t think about how many grains of life you have left No one knows the answer OK, well don’t just stand there You're alone, get on with it You make it count, you hear?

    The Treatment

    Treatment began in 2018. They didn't tell me I’d been chemically castrated until 2024. I had an eighteen-week course of treatment, including chemo, in July 2018. The hormone injections were ongoing for several years until I stopped them and refused further mainstream intervention.

    The Book that changed everything 'The Cancer Resolution'

    One of the big influences for me was a book I came across called 'The Cancer Resolution - Cancer reinterpreted through another lens' by Mark Lintern. It asks questions like why oncologist claim definitively that cancer is a genetic disease and the treatments that they provide are the most effective available. Things began to hit me when I realised everything is based around a 5 year survival rate not a cure rate. Be prepared for that. You should ask questions, push the boundaries, do you own research. You may not believe all the information, this is something you have to discern for yourself. Go on what sounds logical and what your gut tells you. Good Luck.

    How I got my life back having been told (for a second time) I have terminal Prostate Cancer. This time, without mainstream treatment, apparently, it’s less than 12 months. I’m just about to enter my 8th year since my first diagnosis. My dilemma now is they want me to go back to the hormone treatment even though I have no symptoms. I’m fit. I play golf 4 times a week, practice yoga twice a week and general gym work most days. I’m not buying the narrative this time. The only ‘definite’ is that I will suffer the side effects. Frightening.
