  1. Countryside Chaos

    Countryside Chaos

In this rambling coastal-to-countryside adventure, the team dive headfirst into the great British obsession with visitors, locals, and what on earth you're called depending on where you've wandered in from (Emmets, Grockles… or just "lost"). From Somerset sheep spotting to Cornwall tourism politics, things quickly escalate into a nostalgic love letter to old-school Britain: coach trips to theatrical oddities, forgotten compères who once held entire shows together, and the noble art of "warming up a crowd" before everyone had to just… sit through things cold. The conversation then veers delightfully off-course (as it should), into the lost world of continuity announcers, surreal pub signage, and the philosophical crisis of bins that insist they are not bins. Somewhere in there, beer towels are stolen, road signs are liberated "accidentally," and Duncan builds what can only be described as a mildly incriminating pub memorabilia archive. Naturally, no episode would be complete without a deep dive into transport chaos—coach toilets (avoid at all costs), A–Z maps the size of duvets, and the evolving etiquette of hailing black cabs, from polite "mate" diplomacy to full tactical taxi interception. It's nostalgic, mildly chaotic, and deeply British in the way only three people can be nostalgic about things they absolutely should not be nostalgic about. Get in Touch with Us! 2. Tommy Boyd Reveals The Real Dr Who!

Tommy Boyd Reveals The Real Dr Who!

Whovians, brace yourselves — this one starts as a cosy fan chat and ends somewhere between a history lesson and a full-blown "red string on a corkboard" moment. Hayley kicks things off by diving into your very strong opinions — from Daleks being dismissed as glorified angry pepper pots (controversial, Chloe… deeply controversial) to passionate defences of underrated Doctors and genuinely terrifying villains. There's love for the classics, a nod to modern masterpieces, and a healthy amount of "I have no idea who that is, but I trust you." Then Duncan hits us right in the nostalgia with a proper heart-melter: fish and chips, Saturdays, and hiding behind the sofa during peak Doctor Who terror. Honestly, it's less a memory and more a national treasure. But just when you think it's all harmless fandom… Tommy enters the chat. What follows is a rabbit hole so deep it might actually require a TARDIS. From a forgotten musical genius with a suspiciously superhero-sounding pseudonym, to inventing the chat show (yes, really), to psychological warfare in WWII (also yes, really), Tommy builds a case that this almost-mythical figure might just be… the inspiration behind Doctor Who itself. Is it groundbreaking? Is it unhinged? Is it both? We genuinely don't know anymore. Expect laughs, debates, a fair bit of "hang on, WHAT?", and a call-out to you lot to decide: accidental coincidence… or the biggest Whovian discovery no one saw coming? Oh — and there's a WhatsApp number if you fancy challenging Tommy's entire theory. No pressure. Get in Touch with Us! WhatsApp: 07405 341500 - leave us a voice note, go on you know you want too! 3. Hope It's Chips, The Shake 'n' Vac Years

Hope It's Chips, The Shake 'n' Vac Years

The nostalgia continues as Tommy, Duncan and Hayley dive deeper into Zach's never-ending WhatsApp of memories — and things quickly spiral into pure retro chaos. From glowing Ready Brek kids and the iconic Shake 'n' Vac housewife whispering "40% less fat", to the arrival of oven chips and the legendary "hope it's chips" adverts, the team relive a golden age where TV commercials shaped childhoods, cravings, and questionable imagination. Along the way, they debate why dinner parties have basically died out (too much effort, too many dietary requirements), confess that adulthood now mostly looks like beans on toast, takeaway Chinese, and a slightly better bottle of wine, and wonder if fancy food has just become… unnecessarily stressful. There's also a glorious detour into conspiracy theories, the idea of a secret island where "not-dead" rock stars are living their best lives, and the usual RRN blend of retro memory, tangents, and absolute nonsense — all rounded off, as ever, with a joke that probably shouldn't work but somehow does. 4. Beans, Butter & Bad Decisions

    Beans, Butter & Bad Decisions

This week, things get seriously heated… and not just the baked beans. Hayley kicks things off with a question that could divide the nation: cheese on top of beans on toast… or underneath? Expect strong opinions, mild outrage, and an unexpected defence of "Daddy sauce" (yes, really). From there, it spirals—as it always does—into: The mysterious origins of the Lazy Susan (who is she and what did she do to deserve this?) A passionate debate about whether sauces belong in the fridge (or live their best life on a café table for 9 hours) Butter. Why is it so hard now? Who's responsible? And why are we microwaving it like maniacs? There's also: A surprisingly traumatic childhood vomiting story involving a girl called Susan (sorry, Susan) Questionable food nostalgia (tinned ravioli = fine dining, apparently) A genuinely elite "cheap but impressive" steak dinner hack And the eternal struggle of losing sunglasses… and your dignity It's chaotic, nostalgic, mildly disgusting at times—and exactly what you signed up for. Pull up a chair, spin the Lazy Susan, and keep your sick bag handy. You've been warned. Get in Touch with Us! WhatsApp: 07405341500 - leave us a voice note, go on you know you want too!
