    The Destruction of False Teachers

The Destruction of False Teachers is a sobering study that cuts through the noise and confronts dangerous deceit lurking within the church walls. False preachers—those who craftily swap truth for profit—are no new phenomena, but their presence among us is more perilous than ever. This lesson calls you to be vigilant, to discern truth from the sugarcoated lies masquerading as gospel. 2 Peter warns us about these wolves in sheep’s clothing who are not just spreading misconceptions but are leading souls toward destruction with their false teachings. God didn’t stutter when He laid out His judgment: there is a reserved punishment for the unjust, and complacency isn’t an option when eternity is at stake. Brethren, to believe in Christ is to walk in His truth, unwavering and uncompromised. God’s Word—not whispered opinions or popular misconceptions—must be your yardstick. Those who follow the narrow path are called to holiness, and that means knowing your doctrine comes from holy men moved by the Spirit, not self-proclaimed prophets with counterfeit agendas. The solution is crystal clear: stick with the book. If what you hear doesn’t align with God’s teaching, then heed the warning. You’ve got one soul, and it’s precious, so there is no room for lukewarm faith or false doctrine. Stay anchored in truth and let your works manifest your faith; because as sure as God has delivered the godly out of temptation, those who deny Him will face swift destruction. You’re being told these things not to stir fear, but out of love, because His truth sets you free and keeps you out of the fire. The teaching starts at 1:09 Golden Text: 2 Peter 2:9 All Verses Covered: 2 Peter 1:21, 2:1-10 Also read: Deuteronomy 13:1-5, Isaiah 9:15-16, Isaiah 56:10-11, Jeremiah 5:30-31, Jeremiah 23:14-16, Jeremiah 29:8-9, Ezekiel 13:1-9, Micha 3:5, Matthew 7:15-20, Matthew 15:14, Matthew 24:11-12, Romans 16:17-18, 1 Corinthians 11:19, Galatians 1:6-9, 2 Corinthians 11:13-15, 1 Timothy 1:6-7, 1 Timothy 4:1-2, 2 Timothy 3:1-5, 2 Timothy 4:3-4, Titus 1:10-11, 2 Thessalonians 2:3, 1 John 4:1, Jude 1:4, Jude 1:8-13, Revelation 2:2 Listen to this message on the JMS Podcast website: https://www.jmspodcast.com/message-details?recordId=recvyxvEdf74QDJdF Create a free listener account to follow the KJV Scriptures, save your place, take private notes, download messages, and explore the complete archive: https://www.jmspodcast.com We hope you enjoy this message from Elder Clifton Dawson, pastor of Greater Christ Temple Church, following in the footsteps of the late Bishop Luke Edwards, Sr. Greater Christ Temple Church is located at 312 Edwards Drive, Eutaw, AL 35462. The Return

In this stirring Bible study entitled "The Return," we peel back the layers of tradition, misconception, and false teachings that have wormed their way into the church. How easy it is to stray from the foundational truths handed down by the apostles, preferring smooth-talking prophets and feel-good philosophies over the raw and unfiltered Word of God. But hear this well: the Word remains, cutting through generations like a double-edged sword. It's a stark reminder that the wisdom of the prophets and apostles isn't dusty relics of old, but living truth demanding our obedience today. You find yourself tangled in the web of ignorance and myth, I urge you—stir your mind with the pure words of the Bible. Let them shake you loose from the slumber of complacency. God's message through Peter is needed today more than ever: Beware of scoffers, self-serving preachers, and doctrine diluted by worldly wisdom. The ferocity of His coming won't wait for your convenience. Repent and align yourself with His commands. The apostles' doctrine wasn't given for you to tamper with but to transform you. It’s high time to prepare and live holy—as if God’s promises are real, because they are. You can’t afford the luxury of ignorance when eternal souls hang in the balance. Holiness isn’t for the faint of heart; it's for the diligent, the awake, and the obedient. Are you ready? Because He's returning, and the heavens and earth will testify of His fulfillment. Don’t find yourself locked out because you ignored the warning signs in your own pride and ease. The teaching starts at 0:19 Focus: 2 Peter 2:5-6 All Verses Covered: 2 Peter 1:21, 2:1,5-6, 3:1-18 Also read: John 14:23-26, 16:12-14, Acts 2:42, 20:28-30, Ephesians 2:19-20, 4:11-14, Philippians 1:9-11, Colossians 2:6-8, 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18, 5:1-6, 1 Timothy 4:1-2, 2 Timothy 3:1-5, 4:3-4, Hebrews 2:1-3, 10:23-25, 12:1-2, 13:7-9, James 1:5-6, 3:17, 1 Peter 5:8-9, 1 John 2:18-21, 4:1-6, Jude 1:17-21, Revelation 1:3, 2:10,25-26, 3:3,10-11, 16:15, 22:12-14 Listen to this message on the JMS Podcast website: https://www.jmspodcast.com/message-details?recordId=recuEMye6cBsbLZyU Create a free listener account to follow the KJV Scriptures, save your place, take private notes, download messages, and explore the complete archive: https://www.jmspodcast.com We hope you enjoy this message from Elder Clifton Dawson, pastor of Greater Christ Temple Church, following in the footsteps of the late Bishop Luke Edwards, Sr. Greater Christ Temple Church is located at 312 Edwards Drive, Eutaw, AL 35462. Jesus Overcomes the Grave

Jesus Overcomes the Grave—well, that truth ought to shake us to our very core. This ain't about bunnies or bonnets nor the pomp and circumstance of a once-a-year suit. This is Easter’s essence—the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Mark 16:1-8 exposes where mankind loves to fluff with tradition but skips the eternal message. The grave was supposed to be the end. But "supposed to" don't mean diddly when God's at work. Jesus didn't just rise for applause—He shattered sin's grip and yanked the teeth right out of death's mouth, leaving an empty tomb as a cold reminder of hell’s defeat. Now, before you lay your head back in apathy, consider this: Jesus rolled back that stone not just for head knowledge but for heart transformation. Are you groping for truth, yet blindfolded by man’s misstep? Many have bent this Gospel to tickle ears, but God’s truth doesn’t bend. It demands repentance, faith, and genuine worship—not lukewarm, empty gestures at the sight of a plastic egg. If that don’t stir you, you’re in danger of letting another Easter pass while you slumber spiritually. The grave couldn’t hold Jesus down, and it’s your soul He’s fighting for. So, shake off the misconception that this old tale is a story for another. It’s for you, here, now! The truth’s out: Jesus overcame. Will you? The teaching starts at 0:37 Golden Text: Mark 16:6 All Verses Covered: Mark 16:1-8 Also read: Genesis 22:4,12, Psalms 16:9-11, 22:16-18, 49:15, Isaiah 25:8, 26:19, Hosea 13:14, Matthew 16:21, 17:22-23, 20:18-19, 28:1-10, Luke 9:22, 24:1-12, John 2:19-22, 11:25, 20:1-18, Acts 2:24,31-32, 10:39-41, 13:30-37, Romans 6:4,9, 1 Corinthians 15:3-8,12-22, 2 Corinthians 5:15, Ephesians 1:20-23, Philippians 3:10-11, Colossians 2:12, Hebrews 13:20, 1 Peter 1:3, 3:18, Revelation 1:18 Listen to this message on the JMS Podcast website: https://www.jmspodcast.com/message-details?recordId=reckQQpnMxpcOYuii Create a free listener account to follow the KJV Scriptures, save your place, take private notes, download messages, and explore the complete archive: https://www.jmspodcast.com We hope you enjoy this message from Elder Clifton Dawson, pastor of Greater Christ Temple Church, following in the footsteps of the late Bishop Luke Edwards, Sr. Greater Christ Temple Church is located at 312 Edwards Drive, Eutaw, AL 35462. Add to Your Faith

"Add to Your Faith" isn't just a lesson—it's a commandment from the Almighty to keep you from spiritual bankruptcy. You've believed, and that’s the beginning, but don't you dare stop there. Peter's not talking to the world in this letter—he's talking to you, the church. This study demands you add virtue, knowledge, temperance, patience, godliness, brotherly kindness, and love like bricks in a holy wall. These aren't nice-to-haves; they're must-haves. You think your faith alone can sustain you? Think again. Faith without these is a fruitless tree—destined for the fire. And friend, the last thing you want is to wake up on judgment day barren and empty-handed. It's time to confront the deception that whispers "faith is enough" and the misguided teachings that promise prosperity without obedience. If you lack these things, Peter says you’re blind—and I wouldn't want to be blind navigating eternity. But there's hope; God's grace is a never-ending well. Return to Him, confess, add to your faith, and secure your calling. The gates of eternity don't just open for any tree—they open for those strong and sturdy, bearing the rich fruits of a transformed life. Be diligent, because your soul depends on it. The teaching starts at 0:11 Focus: 2 Peter 1:5-7 All Verses Covered: 2 Peter 1:1-21 Also read: Deuteronomy 6:5, 11:13, 30:6, Joshua 22:5, 1 Samuel 12:24, 1 Kings 8:61, 1 Chronicles 16:11, 2 Chronicles 15:7, Psalms 1:2-3, 31:23, 84:11, 119:9-11, 119:67, 119:105, Proverbs 2:3-5, 3:1-4, 3:5-7, 4:7, 16:3, 19:20, Isaiah 33:6, 54:13, Jeremiah 9:23-24, Hosea 4:6, Micah 6:8, Matthew 5:19, 5:48, 7:15-20, 13:23, 25:14-30, Mark 4:24-25, 11:24, Luke 8:15, 10:27, 17:5, John 15:2,8, 15:12, Acts 2:42, 20:32, Romans 5:3-5, 8:28, 8:29, 12:2, 1 Corinthians 1:5, 9:25, 15:33-34, 2 Corinthians 3:18, Galatians 5:22-23, 6:9, Ephesians 2:10, Philippians 1:9-11, 2:12-13, 4:6-7, Colossians 1:9-10, 2:2-3, 3:16, 1 Thessalonians 4:9, 5:15, 1 Timothy 4:15, 6:11, 2 Timothy 1:6-7, Hebrews 5:14, 6:10-12, 10:24, James 1:2-4, 2:14-26, 1 Peter 1:5-7, 5:10, 2 Peter 3:18, 1 John 3:18, Revelation 3:18 Listen to this message on the JMS Podcast website: https://www.jmspodcast.com/message-details?recordId=reckDDlbHA3rhu5db Create a free listener account to follow the KJV Scriptures, save your place, take private notes, download messages, and explore the complete archive: https://www.jmspodcast.com We hope you enjoy this message from Elder Clifton Dawson, pastor of Greater Christ Temple Church, following in the footsteps of the late Bishop Luke Edwards, Sr. Greater Christ Temple Church is located at 312 Edwards Drive, Eutaw, AL 35462. Jesus Bears God’s Wrath

Jesus Bears God's Wrath is a gut-wrenching study that pierces to the heart of the Gospel. Mark the words—the crucifixion wasn't a mere display of human hatred; it was the divine orchestration of salvation. As Mark 15:16-39 vividly portrays, the soldiers thought they led Jesus to Calvary, but make no mistake, He led them. It was never the spear that held Christ to the cross; it was love and the weight of the world's sin—ours. God's wrath was poured out on His innocent Son, not for His wrongdoing, but for ours. Don't gloss over this truth—God's holy justice demanded satisfaction, and Christ bore it all. Some of you are toying around the edges of commitment, but there's no room for lukewarm believers here. Christ's sacrifice demands a response—not through half-hearted nods but through full surrender. Hear this: the temple veil ripping from top to bottom wasn't a minor detail; it was God saying, "access granted" to every sinner willing to repent. But remember, it ain't cheap grace—it's costly. It's got to cost you your life. Yes, He died for you, but are you ready to live for Him? Are you ready to bear your cross and follow the Captain of Salvation into eternal life? Make your choice clear and your faith evident, because this ain’t a game. It's time to wake up and seize the salvation He bled to give. The teaching starts at 0:53 Golden Text: Mark 15:37-38 All Verses Covered: Mark 15:16-39 Also read: Isaiah 53:1-12, Psalms 22:1-31, Matthew 26:38-39, 26:53-56, 27:32-54, John 1:29, 2 Corinthians 5:21, Hebrews 9:11-15, 1 Peter 2:21-24, Revelation 5:6-9 Listen to this message on the JMS Podcast website: https://www.jmspodcast.com/message-details?recordId=recKeZhAfONnXL26I Create a free listener account to follow the KJV Scriptures, save your place, take private notes, download messages, and explore the complete archive: https://www.jmspodcast.com We hope you enjoy this message from Elder Clifton Dawson, pastor of Greater Christ Temple Church, following in the footsteps of the late Bishop Luke Edwards, Sr. Greater Christ Temple Church is located at 312 Edwards Drive, Eutaw, AL 35462. Suffering in Christ

Suffering in Christ is not a message for the faint of heart. In today's age where people want comfort without the cost, this study shakes us awake. God's plan wasn't for us to have life our way like some heavenly fast-food joint. Christ suffered in the flesh—He endured agony beyond measure—to bring about our salvation. And here's the hard truth: if He, the Son of God, had to suffer, what makes you think you’ll get by untouched? Peter tells us to arm ourselves with the same mindset as Christ, one ready to face trials and fires with endurance and obedience, because in this suffering, we cease from sin. You can’t let your flesh dictate your life anymore. You can’t live to satisfy its lusts and whims. God wants your soul to embrace His will, and if that means suffering along the way, so be it. Those trials aren’t a detour—they’re the path. In this study, we're reminded that judgment starts right here, right now, with us—God’s people. And if we can’t bear the heat of correction, how do we expect to withstand the final judgment? Don’t fool yourself into thinking you can straddle the line between this world and God’s kingdom. The end isn’t some distant nightmare—it’s closer than you think, and now is the time for unwavering obedience and self-control. The allure of the past with all its sin and disobedience is nothing but chains. Break free and live according to the Spirit. The fire’s coming to test what you’re made of—will you be found pure gold or dross? Make sure when He looks upon you, you reflect His glory, because that ain’t just optional—that’s proof you belong to Him. This message isn’t to crush you—it’s to purify you, to mold you into His image, because God loves you enough to shake you from your slumber. It’s time to wake up. The teaching starts at 0:00 Focus: 1 Peter 4:1 All Verses Covered: 1 Peter 4:1-19 Also read: Isaiah 53:3-5, Matthew 5:10-12, 10:22-25,38-39, 16:24-25, Mark 8:34-35, John 15:18-20, 16:33, Acts 5:41, Romans 8:17,36-37, 12:1, 2 Corinthians 1:5-7, 4:8-10,16-17, 6:4-10, Galatians 5:24, 6:8-9, Philippians 1:29, 3:10, Colossians 3:5-6,12-14, 2 Timothy 2:12, 3:12, Hebrews 10:32-34, 11:25-26, James 1:2-4, 1 John 3:13, Revelation 2:10 Listen to this message on the JMS Podcast website: https://www.jmspodcast.com/message-details?recordId=rec1R8F8pjA85SbMo Create a free listener account to follow the KJV Scriptures, save your place, take private notes, download messages, and explore the complete archive: https://www.jmspodcast.com We hope you enjoy this message from Elder Clifton Dawson, pastor of Greater Christ Temple Church, following in the footsteps of the late Bishop Luke Edwards, Sr. Greater Christ Temple Church is located at 312 Edwards Drive, Eutaw, AL 35462. Jesus Prepares for Death

The road to Calvary wasn't an accident; it was intentional and divinely orchestrated, like a hammer striking a nail with unerring precision. In "Jesus Prepares for Death," we peel back the veil to witness the deliberate steps Christ took toward the ultimate sacrifice. As he agonized in Gethsemane, calling out, "Abba, Father, all things are possible unto thee," Jesus showed us what submission to God's will truly requires—not my will, but Yours be done (Mark 14:36). He didn't flinch from the path set before Him, despite the overwhelming sorrow and the shadow of betrayal closing in. It was a path he didn't have to walk, but He chose it, for He knew obedience to the Father’s will was paramount. Friend, if you're dodging God's will, face the fact that this ain’t about your comfort—it’s about your commitment. This study drenches us in the gravity of submission and sacrifice. It won't let you settle for a watered-down understanding of surrender. Jesus, the sinless one, wasn’t just fulfilling a prophecy; He was setting a fiery example. The disciples fell asleep, but we’re called to stay awake—eyes wide open, hearts willing to say, “Lord, your will.” It's time to quit dancing around God’s purpose for your life. Embrace the endurance and submission Christ modeled and be ready to walk your own Gethsemane with the resounding "Nevertheless." Eternity hinges on those who choose God's way over their own. Christian, it’s time to deepen your walk—because if you miss this call to submission, you might miss everything. The teaching starts at 0:58 Golden Text: Mark 14:36 All Verses Covered: Mark 14:32-52 Also read: Genesis 22:1-14, Exodus 12:21-27, Psalms 40:6-8, Isaiah 53:3-12, Zechariah 13:7, Matthew 20:17-19, 26:36-46, Luke 4:28-30, 9:22,31,44, 12:50, 13:33, 18:31-33, 24:26, John 10:17-18, 11:49-52, 12:27-28, 18:4-9, 19:10-11, Acts 2:23, 3:18, Romans 5:6-8, Philippians 2:5-8, Hebrews 2:14-15, 5:7-9, 10:5-10, 12:2 Listen to this message on the JMS Podcast website: https://www.jmspodcast.com/message-details?recordId=recoC3rxprJMpxm3Q Create a free listener account to follow the KJV Scriptures, save your place, take private notes, download messages, and explore the complete archive: https://www.jmspodcast.com We hope you enjoy this message from Elder Clifton Dawson, pastor of Greater Christ Temple Church, following in the footsteps of the late Bishop Luke Edwards, Sr. Greater Christ Temple Church is located at 312 Edwards Drive, Eutaw, AL 35462. Order

In the study titled "Order," we dive into the core of what it means to maintain godly order within the church, casting aside the chaos and confusion that has poisoned so many congregations today. As the Apostle Paul instructed young Titus, there's a mandate to set things in order—and God didn't include any suggestions. We're forced to confront an uncomfortable truth: sometimes tradition, vanity, and the itching ears of men lead entire congregations into disarray. Churches brimming with titles but empty of authenticity stand as testimony to this. When the church is lead by those God didn't ordain—following standards man invented rather than God commanded—it's no wonder we're all stumbling over ourselves. Church, we've been caught in the web of deceit and deception for far too long, tangled up in misconceptions about leadership, holiness, and righteousness. Paul charges us to strip away the veneer and return to sound doctrine. That means rebuking wayward voices, young or old, that put ambition over godly works. The truth may sting, but a heart not backed by order is a heart on the road to destruction. This isn't about hurting feelings—it's about saving souls. It's about men, young and old, being models of good works and sound faith. It's about women teaching holiness and godliness to younger sisters. It's about obedience. It's about righteousness. It's about living a life zealous for good works, as peculiar people drenched in grace. Don't ignore the cry for order, my friend. Set your life straight according to His Word, because if you let this pass by without heeding, you might just let eternity slip away. The teaching starts at 0:21 Focus: Titus 1:5 All Verses Covered: Titus 1:1-16, 2:1-15 Also read: Genesis 18:19, Exodus 18:20-21, Numbers 27:16-17, 1 Samuel 2:3, 1 Samuel 16:7, 2 Samuel 23:3, 1 Chronicles 22:12-13, 1 Chronicles 28:9-10, Job 34:17, Psalms 37:30-31, Proverbs 3:5-6, Proverbs 8:15-16, Proverbs 11:14, Proverbs 14:30, Proverbs 16:7, Proverbs 20:28, Proverbs 21:2-3, Proverbs 22:6, Ecclesiastes 12:10-11, Isaiah 28:10, Isaiah 32:17, Jeremiah 7:23-24, Jeremiah 31:33, Jeremiah 33:3, Jeremiah 42:6, Daniel 6:4, Micah 6:8, Malachi 2:6-7, Matthew 5:19, Matthew 7:24, Matthew 25:21, Luke 6:46-49, John 13:17, John 14:21, John 15:10, Acts 6:3-4, Acts 20:28-31, Romans 13:1, 1 Corinthians 4:1-2, 1 Corinthians 9:24-27, Ephesians 4:11-16, Philippians 2:14-16, 1 Thessalonians 2:13, 1 Timothy 1:5-7, 1 Timothy 3:1-13, 1 Timothy 4:12-16, 2 Timothy 1:13-14, 2 Timothy 2:15, 2 Timothy 3:16-17, Hebrews 3:1-4, Hebrews 3:12-13, Hebrews 12:14, James 1:22-25, 1 Peter 3:1-7, 1 Peter 4:11, 2 Peter 1:3-8, 1 John 2:3-6, Revelation 2:2-3 Listen to this message on the JMS Podcast website: https://www.jmspodcast.com/message-details?recordId=recRthBHeyjCJG1Qp Create a free listener account to follow the KJV Scriptures, save your place, take private notes, download messages, and explore the complete archive: https://www.jmspodcast.com We hope you enjoy this message from Elder Clifton Dawson, pastor of Greater Christ Temple Church, following in the footsteps of the late Bishop Luke Edwards, Sr. Greater Christ Temple Church is located at 312 Edwards Drive, Eutaw, AL 35462.
