    I was working backstage on the Faith Hill & Tim McGraw tour when something happened that still doesn’t feel real… I walked into a massive garage full of tour buses — and there was Tim McGraw, alone, shooting hoops on a full-size basketball court he had set up backstage. Then he looked at me and said: “Hey man… you wanna play?” I froze. I wasn’t supposed to talk to the artists. I wasn’t supposed to stop working. And I definitely wasn’t prepared to play one-on-one with Tim McGraw. But I said yes. What followed was one of the most surreal moments of my life — missed shots, nervous laughs, full-court pressure, and the realization that Tim McGraw is actually really good at basketball.
