I am so excited you’re here because this podcast will help you worry less, quiet the mental noise, and experience real peace in your everyday life. Inside each episode, you’ll learn faith-based tools to help with anxiety, overthinking, social pressure, insecurity, and friendship drama - without the “just pray more and try harder” advice. You’ll learn how to: • Feel more steady and less overwhelmed • Stop caring so much about what everyone thinks • Untangle your identity from performance • Grow a faith that feels supportive instead of stressful This is about real-life peace - not perfection. I’m Kristen - your big sis in faith and Teen Anxiety Coach. When I was a teen, I struggled with anxiety and insecurity. I overthought everything - what I wore, what I said, how I performed in the classroom and on the court. I tied my worth to achievement, approval, and appearance. From the outside, I looked fine. Inside? I was exhausted. For years, I tried to “fix” myself by working harder, achieving more, and trying to be the good Christian girl who had it all together. So, what changed? I finally realized peace wasn’t about becoming a different girl. It was about learning practical emotional skills and anchoring them in my identity in Christ. That shift changed everything. Now, I help girls just like you stop living in their heads and start living from a place of steadiness and truth. If you’re ready to: • Stop overthinking every interaction • Worry less about what people think • Navigate friendships without losing yourself • Manage anxiety in real-life situations • Build confidence rooted in Christ - not performance This podcast is for you. So grab your coziest hoodie, your favorite loaded tea, and let’s talk about what it actually looks like to live as a peaceful, steady Christian teen girl in today’s world. xo, Kristen LET'S CONNECT! • Which type of anxious teen girl are you?     123 | How to Get Over a Breakup & Feel Like Yourself Again {TEENS}

    Hey doll, this one came from you. One of you asked for this exact episode, so if that’s you, I hope you feel how much I mean it when I say I see you. 🫶🏻 Because right now you might be lying awake replaying the hallway, a text, a look on his face, wondering what you could’ve done differently. Or you’re doing your hair and makeup for school, not because you feel like it, but because some part of you is trying to prove something to someone who’s not even watching anymore. I’ve been there. Not in theory. In the actual crying yourself to sleep, forcing yourself to get ready anyway kind of there. So today we’re talking about how to actually get over a breakup and feel like yourself again, not fake fine, not just distract and hope, actually feel like you. What You’ll Learn in This Episode: - Why a breakup can hit way harder than people expect, and what your brain is actually doing about it - What grief for a relationship can honestly look like (it’s not a straight line) - A tool to set a real, visible deadline for the wallowing, without rushing the grief itself - Why rebuilding through hobbies and new things matters more than you think, especially right now - How to lean on your people without needing them to hold the whole thing together This week, your one step: pull out your calendar today and pick your date. Circle it, highlight it, bold it, whatever makes it impossible to ignore. That’s not a deadline on your grief, it’s a deadline on the wallowing. Friday we’re getting into why the coping skills you’ve already tried keep falling apart the second you actually need them, so don’t miss that one. love ya mean it, Kristen 🎧 If this one helped, follow the show so the next episode finds you too.     122 | Your Teenage Daughter Looks Fine. She's Not. {Moms}

    Hey mama. If it's late and you're up searching for this, you are not failing her. You're paying attention, and that's everything. How do you know if what you're seeing is normal teen stuff or something more? That's the question underneath this episode. Because so many of the girls who are struggling the most are also the ones who look, from the outside, like they've got it all together. In this episode, we talk about why her hiding isn't dishonesty, it's fear of disappointing you. We unpack the three pulls she's juggling at once (you, her peers, and her faith), and why "I'm fine" so often means she wants to be seen, not fixed. What You'll Learn in This Episode: Why the quiet, high-achieving daughter can be the one struggling most The real reason she hides what she's feeling from you (hint: it's not dishonesty) The three pressures she's balancing at once, and why that's exhausting What "I'm fine" actually means when her smile doesn't reach her eyes One simple shift in how you respond that can open the door back up This week, try this: the next time she says "I'm fine" and you're not so sure, just say, "Okay. I'm here whenever you're ready." Then let the silence be okay. Tuesday we're diving into a listener request: how anxious teen girls can deal with a tough breakup. xo, Kristen 🎧 Follow/subscribe so you don't miss what's coming. LET'S CONNECT!     121 | Perfectionism Isn't Real: You're Scared You're Not Enough {Teens}

    Hey doll, be honest with yourself for a second. Have you ever built a whole color-coded timeline for one test? Studied for hours after you already knew the material cold? Talked your mom into quizzing you one more time before bed, then still couldn't sleep because there was "just a little more" to cram in? If any of that sounds familiar, I need you to hear this: that's not dedication. That's anxiety wearing a really convincing outfit. In this episode, I'm walking you through why perfectionism isn't actually a personality trait, it's fear doing math, where anything less than 100% gets filed as total failure. We're talking about the straight A's that never quite feel like enough, the bubble guts before a test gets handed back, and what's really going on underneath all that overplanning. What You'll Learn in This Episode: Why perfectionism is anxiety, not a personality trait or high standards The "100% or failure" math that's driving the pressure you feel Why the proof never actually lands, even when you make the grade What overplanning is really doing for you (hint: it's not studying) Where your worth actually comes from, and why no grade gets a vote This week, your one step: the next time you catch yourself overplanning something that's already handled, stop and ask, "Am I preparing, or am I just trying to outrun a feeling?" And come back Friday, because we're talking to the moms about this exact thing, the girls who look like they have it all together, and what's actually going on underneath. xo, Kristen 🎧 Loving the podcast?     120 | When Your Teen Daughter Says 'I'm Fine': How to Talk About Anxiety Symptoms Together {In the Car with Mom}

    She said "I'm fine." You don't believe her. She's not sure she believes herself. I was that girl in the passenger seat. On the way to a basketball game, stomach churning, so tense I thought I might be sick. My mom, who loved me, gave me a pep talk. I didn't say a word back. I shut down and looked out the window the whole rest of the way. She wasn't wrong to try. It just wasn't what I needed. I didn't need to be motivated. I needed somebody to listen. This one's for both of you at the same time, mom and daughter, right there in the car. Because the problem is almost never that she won't talk. It's when you're asking, how you're sitting, and what words you're using. What You'll Learn in This Episode: What "I'm fine" actually means, and why it's usually not a lie Why the moment you most want to ask is the worst possible time to ask The reason hard conversations go better in the car than across the kitchen table Why using her slang closes the door instead of opening it What a girl needs before she needs advice Your one step this week: Mom, take one drive and don't ask her anything. Not one question. Her music, eyes on the road, let the quiet sit. Baby sis, one time this week, swap "I'm fine" for "I don't know how to say it yet." Tuesday, we're talking about the girl who calls herself a perfectionist. High standards, likes things done right. Except she can't turn it off and she's exhausted, and what she's calling a personality trait is anxiety in a cute outfit. xo, Kristen 🎧 Follow the show so the next episode shows up for you.     119 | Back-to-School Anxiety: You're NOT Fine, You're Good At Faking It {Teens}

    Hey doll - be honest for a second. Are you already dreading the first day of school? And are you doing it quietly, where nobody around you would ever guess? I was that girl. Tenth grade, geometry on my schedule, my bestie in a different class, and a zit on my chin I was convinced the entire school was about to notice. And you'd never have known a single bit of it, because I put on a face. I always wore a mask.  Here's what kept me stuck the longest: I thought my face was working, and I thought everybody else's face was real. In this episode I'm walking you through two things - why nobody in that building is watching you as closely as you're watching yourself, and what to do with the parts of your schedule that didn't go your way. What You'll Learn in This Episode: Why the girls who look the most "fine" are often the ones struggling the most What's actually running through your head the morning you walk in looking totally normal Why the girl you're sure has it all together is doing the exact same math about you How to flip the script on the schedule, locker, or lunch period you didn't want The baby steps that absolutely count as brave when you're already managing anxiety This week, pick one baby step for day one. Eye contact. Saying hi first. Answering somebody's question kindly. One - not three. And come back Friday, but bring your mom. We're talking about two words: I'm fine and what you mean when you say them. That one's meant to be listened to together. xo, Kristen 🎧 Loving the podcast? 116 | Friend Group Ghosting You? What Teen Girls Can Do When They're Suddenly the Outsider

    You open the group chat and you just know — before anyone says a word — that something's changed. No fight, no explanation. Just quiet, and a lunch table that suddenly feels different. In this episode, we're naming that specific gut-punch of being frozen out by your friend group — and walking through exactly what to do with it, so you can find real peace that isn't hanging on whether you got invited this weekend. What You'll Learn in This Episode Why getting frozen out feels so disorienting — and why your brain treats it like a real threat How silence gets filled in with the worst version of the story (and how to catch it) A simple tool — Real or Likely? — to use the moment the spiral starts Three things to do when you're suddenly on the outside How to let God, not the group chat, define where you belong This week, the next time you catch yourself spiraling on what a friend "really meant," stop and run it through Real or Likely, and see what's actually true. You don't have to have it all figured out today — just take the next right step, and let God's peace lead instead of the fear. xo, Kristen Love this episode?
