Rule #2 YOUR MINDSET CREATES YOUR REALITY 👏🏻

🎙️ Coach Stephanie Carrodegua Podcast Rule #2: Choose Thoughts That Serve You Your Mindset Creates Your Reality Not every thought that enters your mind deserves to stay there. And not every thought you have is the truth. We have thousands of thoughts moving through our minds—thoughts about ourselves, our relationships, our bodies, our careers, our finances, our futures, and what we’re capable of. Some of those thoughts empower us. And some of them keep us stuck. Rule #2 is: Choose Thoughts That Serve You. Because what you repeatedly think about influences what you believe. What you believe influences the decisions you make. And the decisions you make, over and over again, help create the life you experience. 🧠 Pay Attention to the Story You’re Telling Yourself Think about some of the things you might say to yourself without even realizing it: “I’m terrible with money.” “I can never stick with anything.” “I’m too old to start over.” “I’m not confident enough.” “Nothing ever works out for me.” “I’m just not that kind of person.” When we repeat these thoughts long enough, we can start treating them like facts. But what happens if we challenge them? Instead of: “I can never stick with anything.” Try: “I’m learning how to become more consistent.” Instead of: “I’m terrible with money.” Try: “I’m learning how to manage my money differently.” Instead of: “I can’t do this.” Try: “I haven’t figured out how to do this yet.” You’re not pretending everything is perfect. You’re choosing a thought that leaves room for growth. ❤️ Choose Thoughts That Move You Forward Choosing thoughts that serve you doesn’t mean ignoring difficult emotions or pretending negative things don’t happen. This isn’t about toxic positivity. Sometimes things suck. Sometimes you’re scared. Sometimes you’re disappointed. Sometimes you’re angry. Acknowledge it. Feel it. But then ask yourself: Is the story I’m creating around this helping me move forward—or keeping me stuck? That’s where your power comes back. You get to decide what receives your energy. You can feed the thought that says: “I’m never going to figure this out.” Or you can feed the thought that says: “This is difficult, but I can figure out my next step.” Both acknowledge the challenge. Only one gives you somewhere to go. 🌱 Your Mind Is a Garden Think of your thoughts like seeds. Whatever you continually water is what eventually grows. If you’re constantly watering comparison, fear, self-doubt, resentment, and everything that’s wrong with you, those thoughts are going to take up a lot of space. But you can intentionally begin watering something different. Confidence. Possibility. Gratitude. Self-compassion. Curiosity. Growth. You don’t have to believe every thought simply because your brain produced it. You get to choose what you water. 💭 This Week’s Challenge This week, pay attention to your internal dialogue. Choose one thought that repeatedly shows up and doesn’t serve you. Write it down. Then ask yourself: Is this actually true? Where did this belief come from? How does believing this affect my actions? And most importantly: What thought could I choose instead that is both honest and more supportive of the person I’m becoming? Write your new thought somewhere you’ll see it. Say it in the morning. Come back to it when the old thought appears. Practice it. Because changing your mindset isn’t usually one giant breakthrough. It’s catching yourself little by little and choosing differently. Again. And again. And again. Your mind is your garden. Be intentional about what you water. 🌱❤️ Thank you for listening to the Coach Stephanie Carrodegua Podcast. Until next time, protect your energy, pay attention to your inner dialogue, and keep intentionally creating a life that feels like you. ❤️

Rule #1: Be Honest With Yourself — Awareness Creates Change

Rule #1: Be Honest With Yourself — Awareness Creates Change Real change starts with honesty—not judgment, shame, or beating yourself up, but being willing to look at your life and ask: What’s working? What isn’t? And what am I ready to do differently? In this first episode of The 7 Rules for a Life That Feels Like You, Coach Stephanie Carrodegua explores why self-awareness is one of the most powerful tools for creating sustainable change. Sometimes our intentions and our daily actions aren’t telling the same story. We say something is important to us, but our habits, boundaries, time, or energy may be showing us something different. Instead of judging yourself for that disconnect, this episode is about getting curious about it. You’ll learn how to separate honesty from self-criticism, recognize patterns that may no longer be serving you, and take an honest look at whether the goals you’re pursuing actually fit the life you want to create. Stephanie also shares a simple self-audit you can use to ask yourself: What’s working? What isn’t? What am I avoiding? Do my habits reflect what I say matters to me? And what is one small thing I can change? You don’t need to change everything at once. You just need an honest starting point. 🌱 Awareness creates change.
✨ Little by little, a little goes a long way. You have the power to create your life—and you don’t have to create it alone. — Coach Stephanie Carrodegua ❤️

Be Your Biggest Cheerleader: Trust Your Vision 💯

🎙️ The Empowerment Podcast with Coach Stephanie Carrodegua Episode Title: Be Your Biggest Cheerleader: Trust Your Vision At some point, you have to become the person who believes in your dream before anyone else does. You have to become your own biggest cheerleader. Because not everyone is going to understand your vision. Not everyone is going to see what you see. And sometimes the people who love you the most will question your decisions—not because they want you to fail, but because they’re looking at your dream through the lens of their own experiences, fears, limitations, and expectations. Listen to advice. But don’t give everyone a vote. There’s a difference. 💜 Advocate for the Life You Want We talk a lot about advocating for ourselves in relationships, at work, and with our health. But we also have to advocate for our dreams. If something matters to you, protect it. Speak about it. Make decisions that support it. Put energy behind it. And stop requiring everyone around you to understand it before you give yourself permission to pursue it. Sometimes you’re going to be the only person who can see where you’re going. That’s okay. 🧭 Tune In Before You Tune Out We live in a world filled with outside stimuli. Social media.
Friends.
Family.
Podcasts.
Experts.
Trends.
Opinions.
Advice. Everybody has something to say about what you should be doing. And if you’re constantly listening outward, eventually it becomes difficult to hear what’s happening inward. So quiet the noise occasionally and ask yourself: What do I actually want? What keeps pulling me in a particular direction? What feels aligned with the person I’m becoming? What would I choose if nobody else were watching? Your intuition deserves a seat at the table. But don’t get it twisted. Following your intuition doesn’t mean abandoning logic. Do your research. Ask questions. Look at the numbers. Learn from people who know more than you. Gather information. Pay attention to what’s working and what’s not. And when new information tells you something needs to change—pivot. Changing your strategy isn’t betraying your vision. Sometimes it’s exactly how you protect it. 🌱 Stay Flexible With the Path, Not Easily Swayed From the Vision There may be ten different roads that lead to the life you’re trying to create. You might start down one and realize it’s not the right one. That’s not failure. Turn. Adjust. Learn. Try another route. But don’t abandon the destination simply because someone standing on the side of the road tells you they wouldn’t go there. It’s not their destination. There will always be opinions. There will always be outside noise. There will always be someone who would’ve done it differently. Let them. You are the one responsible for building your life. 💭 This Week’s Challenge: Become Your Own Cheerleader Choose one dream or goal that matters deeply to you. Then ask yourself: Where have I allowed outside opinions to become louder than my own voice? Do your research this week. Look at the facts. Ask the questions you need to ask. And then give yourself some quiet space to listen to what you think. If the evidence tells you to pivot, pivot. If you discover a better strategy, use it. But if your vision still feels aligned and the only thing making you question it is someone else’s opinion? Keep going. Be teachable without being easily swayed. Be flexible without abandoning yourself. Be willing to change the route without constantly changing the destination. And above all, become the person standing in your own corner saying: I believe in you. Keep going. We’ve got this. ❤️ Thank you for listening to The Empowerment Podcast with Coach Stephanie Carrodegua. Follow me on Instagram @coachstephaniecarrodegua for more conversations about mindset, healthy habits, fitness, growth, and empowerment. Until next time—trust yourself, do your homework, advocate for your dreams, and remember: Other people can offer directions, but you don’t have to hand them the map. 🧭✨

Little by Little: A Little Goes a Long Way 😌👏🏻

🎙️ The Empowerment Podcast with Coach Stephanie Carrodegua Episode Title: Little by Little: A Little Goes a Long Way We tend to celebrate the big moments. The transformation.
The promotion.
The weight loss.
The new business.
The finish line. But we don’t always talk about the hundreds of small decisions that happened before anyone could see the result. The truth is, big change is usually built little by little. Every now and then, life gives us an opportunity to make a giant leap forward—and when it does, take it! But most of the time? Progress isn’t a leap. It’s waking up and doing the thing again. It’s the workout you almost skipped. It’s drinking another glass of water. It’s preparing your lunch instead of grabbing whatever is convenient. It’s reading ten pages. It’s saving a few dollars. It’s sending the email. It’s taking ten minutes to breathe, journal, or plan your day. None of those things feel life-changing in the moment. But that’s the point. We sometimes underestimate small actions because we can’t immediately see what they’re creating. One workout probably won’t transform your body. One healthy meal won’t transform your health. One deposit won’t create financial freedom. One courageous conversation won’t completely change your relationships. One hour spent working toward your dream probably won’t build your business. But repeat those things over and over again? Now we’re talking about transformation. Small Doesn’t Mean Insignificant Sometimes we convince ourselves that if we can’t do something perfectly or make a huge amount of progress, it’s not worth doing at all. But five minutes is better than zero. One step is better than standing still. A little effort consistently is more powerful than an enormous amount of effort occasionally. And that’s why your routines matter so much. The seemingly ordinary things you do every day are quietly creating your future. Your habits are adding up—even when it doesn’t feel like they’re adding up. So instead of asking yourself: “What’s the biggest thing I can do to change my life?” Try asking: “What’s one small thing I can consistently do that moves me in the right direction?” Then do it. And tomorrow? Do it again. 💭 This Week’s Challenge: Choose Your Little Thing Choose one small action that supports something you’re working toward. Make it simple enough that you can realistically repeat it every day this week. Maybe it’s a ten-minute walk. Maybe it’s drinking water first thing in the morning. Maybe it’s five minutes of meditation. Maybe it’s putting $5 into savings. Maybe it’s spending fifteen minutes working on your business. The action doesn’t have to be impressive. It just has to move you forward. At the end of the week, look back at what those small actions created. Because you don’t have to completely change your life today. You just have to do something today that supports the life you’re creating. Little by little. Day by day. Choice by choice. Habit by habit. And one day, you’ll look back and realize those little things weren’t little at all. They were the things that changed everything. ❤️🌱 Thank you for listening to The Empowerment Podcast with Coach Stephanie Carrodegua. Until next time, keep showing up, keep choosing yourself, and remember: A little goes a long way when you keep going. 💜

Make Space for What You Want 👏🏽

🎙️ The Empowerment Podcast with Coach Stephanie Carrodegua Episode Title: Make Space for What You Want Sometimes creating the life you want isn’t about adding something new. Sometimes it’s about making space. We understand this physically. We clean out our closets. We organize our homes. We throw away things we no longer use because we recognize that clutter takes up space. But when was the last time you cleaned out your mind? Our thoughts take up space too. So do old conversations.
Old relationships.
Resentment.
Comparison.
Worry.
“What ifs.”
Situations we’ve already outgrown.
And people we’re no longer connected to—but somehow we’re still having conversations with them in our heads. All of that requires energy. And when so much of your mental and emotional space is occupied by things you don’t want, how much room is left for the things you actually do? Think about how much energy it takes to replay a conversation that already happened. How much energy does it take to worry about something you can’t control? How much space does someone occupy in your mind when you’re constantly thinking about what they did, what they said, or what you wish you would’ve said? That energy could be going somewhere else. Toward your health.
Your relationships.
Your business.
Your creativity.
Your peace.
Your purpose.
Your future. Sometimes we say we want something new while we’re still holding tightly to everything old. But you can’t fill a space that’s already full. Making space doesn’t mean pretending something never mattered. It means recognizing when something is no longer useful to the person you’re becoming. You can appreciate what something taught you and still release it. You can love someone and decide they no longer get unlimited access to your energy. You can acknowledge a thought without allowing it to live rent-free in your mind. And you can decide that your mental space is valuable enough to protect. Because imagine what could grow there instead. New ideas.
New relationships.
New opportunities.
Creativity.
Confidence.
Peace.
Joy.
Possibility. Maybe the next chapter of your life doesn’t need you to work harder. Maybe it needs you to create some room. 💭 This Week’s Challenge: Make Space This week, identify one thing you’re ready to clear out physically and one thing you’re ready to release mentally or emotionally. Clean out the drawer.
Donate the clothes.
Organize the room. But also pay attention to what’s taking up space in your mind. Ask yourself: Is this thought useful?
Is this helping me grow?
Does this deserve my energy?
Is this aligned with the life I’m trying to create? If the answer is no, practice releasing it and intentionally redirecting your attention toward something that deserves that space. Because when you clear away what’s no longer serving you, you create room for something more fruitful, more beneficial, and more aligned with who you’re becoming. 🌱 You don’t always need more. Sometimes you simply need space for what’s next. Thank you for listening to The Empowerment Podcast with Coach Stephanie Carrodegua. Follow me on Instagram @coachstephaniecarrodegua for more conversations about mindset, healthy habits, fitness, growth, and empowerment. Until next time—protect your energy, tend to your mind, and remember: Be intentional about what you allow to take up space in your life. Something beautiful may be waiting for room to grow. 🌿❤️
