No More Outsiders | Acts 10:34–48

No More Outsiders | Acts 10:34–48Acts: The Church That Changed the WorldOctober 18, 2026 | Versailles United Methodist Church Who belongs in God's Kingdom? Who deserves His grace? And have we sometimes created boundaries that God never intended? In Acts 10, Peter's encounter with Cornelius challenges everything he thought he understood about who could receive God's love. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, Peter discovers a life-changing truth: God's grace reaches beyond our traditions, assumptions, and differences. The Gospel was never meant to be reserved for a select few. In this message, No More Outsiders, we explore two powerful truths: God's Grace Is Bigger Than Our Boundaries. God's love is not confined by the lines we draw between ourselves and others. When we begin seeing people through the eyes of Christ, we discover that His grace reaches further than we ever imagined. The Gospel Doesn't Wait for People to Come to Us. The Church was never called to simply open its doors and wait. Like Peter, we are called to step beyond what is familiar, meet people where they are, and carry the hope of Jesus into the world. The Church that changed the world wasn't defined by the walls that surrounded it, but by the love that moved beyond them. Perhaps the greatest question isn't whether people are welcome in our churches, but whether we're willing to go beyond our walls to show them they are loved. Nobody Is Too Far Gone | Acts 9:1–31

Nobody Is Too Far Gone | Acts 9:1–31ACTS: The Church That Changed the World Is anyone ever too far gone for God's grace? Saul was a man determined to destroy the early Church. He persecuted believers, opposed the message of Jesus, and seemed like the last person anyone would expect God to use. But on the road to Damascus, everything changed. Jesus met Saul right where he was, and the man who once fought against the Gospel became one of its greatest messengers. In this message from Acts 9:1–31, we discover two powerful truths: God's grace meets us before we get our act together, and transformed people need others who genuinely believe that grace is real. Saul's story also reminds us of the importance of people like Barnabas—those willing to look beyond someone's past, recognize God's transforming work, and offer encouragement when others are hesitant to believe change is possible. No matter where you've been, what you've done, or how far you've wandered, your past does not have to determine your future. God's grace can reach the hardest heart, restore the most broken life, and bring purpose from the most unexpected places. Nobody is beyond the reach of God's grace. And sometimes, the person we least expect is the very person God is preparing to use.
