He Books 15 Client Meetings a Week From LinkedIn

“Anyone who's hired knows the first hire is the scariest ever.” (01:54–02:23) “LinkedIn is my main source of prospecting. That's where I get most of my people.” (03:20) “A prospect that's not qualified is honestly worse than not booking a meeting.” (06:36–07:03) “When you're looking at it, the first question you come to is, well, ‘how many clients can we serve in our existing structure?’” (07:56–08:23) “The 80/20 rule applies so much when you're working within a niche of clients.” (11:41–12:08) “You've got to work on sales skills… it is persuasion to get someone to change a behavior.” (16:52–17:20) “Great financial planning is helping clients change behaviors.” (17:20–17:48) “Turn your followers into some damn meetings on your calendar.” (25:19–25:46) Mando Sallavanti built a fast‑growing advisory firm almost entirely from LinkedIn, outbound prospecting, and relentless consistency. Starting with zero team, no big broker leads, and scaling into a practice serving high‑income executives around the country. He treats planning like a business: niche tightly, create repeatable systems, hire early-to-scale, focus on profitability, and sharpen sales to get clients to act. His tech stack supports a cash‑flow–first, highly repeatable service model. In heavy prospecting weeks he can start ~200 conversations, and today his firm is building a team to support far more households while running communities and masterminds to accelerate learning. ------------------ Advisor Freedom is the podcast for financial advisors who want to learn what it really takes to build a thriving advisory career & what wealthy clients are actually doing with their money. How To Get 10M+ Impressions on LinkedIn with Adam Knorr

“I’m going to go live on a coffee farm in Hawaii and try to make a living as a writer.” (04:51–05:21) “I switched my profile to say, I’m a copywriter now.” (09:26–09:36) “I started posting… 14 posts in 14 days about 14 life lessons.” (08:34–08:57) “There aren’t a lot of ghost LinkedIn writing agencies for financial advisors… it’s the niche, niche, niche.” (12:49–13:19) “People don’t choose advisors because of logos anymore. They choose people they feel connected to.” (18:29–18:56) “If you write better content, you will get better reach.” (25:07–25:18) “Influence Lab is an AI LinkedIn coach designed for financial advisor posts.” (26:06–26:20) “It does not rewrite the post for you because I still care about making people better writers.” (26:30–26:40) Adam Knorr left a safe finance career to become a writer. Moved to a coffee farm in Hawaii with no backup plan and accidentally built Influence Labs, an AI-backed LinkedIn writing coach and ghostwriting business that helps financial advisors grow inbound leads through authentic storytelling. In this episode Adam explains why advisors massively underestimate personal content, how parasocial relationships beat logos, the compliance and capability gaps that make his niche so powerful, and how Influence Labs turns his years of real post edits into an honest, results-driven editor for advisor drafts. If you’re building a personal brand or want repeatable LinkedIn growth, this conversation is a how-to loaded with practical tactics and mindset shifts. ------------------ Advisor Freedom is the podcast for financial advisors who want to learn what it really takes to build a thriving advisory career & what wealthy clients are actually doing with their money. How to Land $10M Clients with a CRM

“I started in aerospace engineering…and then I found I had a knack for computer programming.” (03:26) “I thought financial advisory would offer me that interpersonal engagement.” (04:24) “One of the very first things I was doing when I came in as an intern was helping prepare the portfolio rubrics.” (07:48) “That was the very first thing I thought…this is the one thing I really don't enjoy…building those out by hand. Let's see if I can automate that.” (08:18) “I had this toolbox of different programs and scripts…and thought there have to be other financial advisors out there that could use something like this.” (16:53) “When you get direct actionable feedback from an advisor and you're able to deliver on that, that's really one of the most fun parts of the business.” (33:07) Mitchell Bratina, founder and CEO of FinTurk, grew up in a tiny Illinois town, trained as an engineer, and found his way into wealth management after realizing advisors were doing hours of manual work technology should handle. Frustrated by fragmented tools, he built automations for portfolio reports, tax document pulls, billing and cash sweeps. Then decided to create an AI‑first CRM that adapts to advisors instead of forcing them to adapt to software. FinTurk focuses on removing busywork, not replacing advisors, delivering customizable automation and AI helpers that assemble dashboards, automations, and reports so advisors can spend more time with clients. This episode covers his path from engineering to advising, early automation wins, product‑market fit, and the roadmap for AI‑driven, advisor‑centered platforms. ------------------ Advisor Freedom is the podcast for financial advisors who want to learn what it really takes to build a thriving advisory career & what wealthy clients are actually doing with their money. Compliance Is Killing Your Growth: Here's the 99% Fix

“I went to IBM, went through their three months sales bootcamp. And that was it. I was hooked.” (02:58) “Instead of just calling and talking about product, I started calling and saying, hey, do you mind sharing your portfolio with me so I could see where we could add alpha?” (07:08) “He looked at me and said, if you could build the ability for me to use my own phone with my own phone number and only capture my client's conversations and texts, you would have something.” (28:21) “We could reduce the false positives by up to 99% saving them a tremendous amount of time.” (29:48) “We added AI agents that actually run the review and complete it for them.” (30:05) “We are building out the full compliance suite…marketing review…attestations, code of ethics, policies…and trade monitoring surveillance.” (36:35) Larry Shumbres, co‑founder and CEO of Archive Intel, never set out to be an entrepreneur. He planned to be a lawyer, but a technology sales start at IBM and years inside firms like Morningstar, Charles Schwab, eMoney and eVestment taught him what was broken in wealth‑tech. Seeing legacy communication‑archiving tools create mountains of false positives and waste advisors’ time, he built Archive Intel by listening to 200+ advisors, compliance officers, and asset managers. The result: an AI‑driven compliance platform that captures only client communications (even on personal phones), reduces false positives by up to 99%, and returns hours of productive time to firms. This episode digs into product‑market fit, the pitfalls firms still make on compliance, and how AI is rapidly reshaping surveillance. ------------------ Advisor Freedom is the podcast for financial advisors who want to learn what it really takes to build a thriving advisory career & what wealthy clients are actually doing with their money. Say Less, Do More: Tailored PR for Advisors

“I had seven different jobs… I was just picking up all the work that I could pick up just to basically survive.” (02:54–03:22) “I was comfortable with rejection, which is, you know, in PR, you're always getting rejected.” (04:42) “I was working at the agency and my first day back was the day that COVID hit the US.” (13:42) “I had a three‑month‑old at home…and my husband's business was shut down.” (13:42) “We really want you to lean in and be yourself.” (26:18–26:48) “I don't have visions to build a giant agency — I want to continue to kick ass and meet great people.” (27:48) Abbie Sheridan, founder and CEO of Greenrose Communications, built a boutique PR firm for the wealth industry out of sheer necessity during COVID — with a three‑month‑old at home and no roadmap. What began as freelancing turned into a nimble agency that helps advisors, fintechs, and wealth‑tech companies earn media coverage, credibility, and growth without massive retainers or one‑size‑fits‑all contracts. Abbie explains how hustle, repeated rejection, and seven different early jobs taught her to sell, pivot, and build referral‑driven growth; why authenticity beats sounding like everyone else; and how tailored PR (project or hourly-based) unlocks opportunities most advisors never knew existed. ------------------ Advisor Freedom is the podcast for financial advisors who want to learn what it really takes to build a thriving advisory career & what wealthy clients are actually doing with their money. Betting on Yourself: Leaving the Traditional Firm to Serve Women in Transition

“I was handed a book of high‑net‑worth clients and just had rapid‑fire conversations.” (02:55–03:24) “It was more of a therapist than a financial advisor.” (04:46–05:19) “If I’m going to invest in anything, it’s going to be on myself.” (12:26) “Wild Iris — the name came from the flower: it dies and grows back, and that’s symbolic of life phases.” (18:20) “I don’t want to sacrifice quality just to hit a growth number.” (28:12) “There’s a difference in talking with someone that you know can calm those fears and worries.” (12:54) “I’d rather build something that helps people than chase vanity metrics.” (28:12) Nikki Savage, founder of Wild Iris Financial, walks away from the traditional advisor playbook to build a practice that centers human connection and women in transition. With a math degree and no plan to become an advisor, Nikki found herself handling high‑net‑worth clients during COVID and learned the job was often more therapist than planner. After earning her CFP, she bet on herself and launched Wild Iris to serve women starting over (divorce, inheritance, business pivots). This episode covers the emotional reality of advising in a crisis, how to find a niche by being honest about who you are, the practical steps of launching an RIA, and why redefining success (impact over scale) matters. ------------------ Advisor Freedom is the podcast for financial advisors who want to learn what it really takes to build a thriving advisory career & what wealthy clients are actually doing with their money. Know Your Loss: How Measured Risk Rewrote Portfolio Risk

“How much worse could it get? And I didn't have an answer.” (05:19) “Diversification doesn’t protect you when everything falls.” (05:46) “We can actually have a synthetic equity allocation with only about 13 to 15% drawdown risk.” (16:51) “If you build a portfolio that doesn't participate in the first 15% it’s a different journey — and sometimes a dangerous one.” (21:06) “It’s  remarkable when you ask a client to give you the dollar budget of their loss, not a percentage, that number gets a lot smaller. Like in time, you had to find a million dollar portfolio and you say, what's your risk tolerance?” (25:25) Larry Kriesmer, founder of Measured Risk Portfolios, shares how a market crash forced him to rethink traditional diversification and build a different approach: defined, dollar-based downside limits. After stumbling into finance via life insurance, Larry discovered that telling clients their maximum loss in dollars — not percentages — changes behavior. He explains the simple math behind bond-plus-options “synth equity” structures, how clients choose a 5/10/15% risk budget, why limiting losses can outperform chasing upside, and why launching an ETF (SNTH) scaled adoption for advisors. If you care about real risk management and smarter portfolio design, this episode will change how you think about loss, liquidity, and long‑term investing. ------------------ Advisor Freedom is the podcast for financial advisors who want to learn what it really takes to build a thriving advisory career & what wealthy clients are actually doing with their money. People Need Clarity, Not Just Investments: The Clarity Wealth Journey

“She started by knocking on doors. Thousands of them… Literally wore the heels off her shoes building her first book of business.” (01:20) “No shortcuts. No warm intros. Just grit.” (01:35) “No big office. No team. Just a card table and a phone.” (03:18) “The inspiration behind it all? My dad. He passed away the same year I launched the firm after battling Alzheimer’s.” (03:50) “People do not just need investments. They need clarity.” (04:12) “I fought through cancer. Three different times. Still showed up for clients.” (05:30) KayDee Cole, founder and CEO of Clarity Wealth, shares a gritty, inspiring journey from door‑to‑door prospecting to building a $200M+ advisory firm serving roughly 270 households. Starting out by knocking on thousands of doors to build her first book of business. In 2010 she launched Clarity on a card table and a phone during the industry’s tumult after the financial crisis, driven by watching her mother shoulder the family’s finances after her father’s Alzheimer’s diagnosis. Along the way KayDee battled cancer three times, often meeting clients during treatment, and developed deep trust with clients. Now she’s executing a thoughtful internal succession plan with a handpicked partner, preparing for retirement in 2027 and a well‑earned sabbatical. This episode is a masterclass on grit, client trust, and building a real transition plan. ------------------ Advisor Freedom is the podcast for financial advisors who want to learn what it really takes to build a thriving advisory career & what wealthy clients are actually doing with their money.
