    God's Battle

What do you do when the battle in front of you looks bigger than the God within you? In 1 Samuel 17, we witness the incredible story of David and Goliath—a powerful reminder that the battles we face are not won by our strength, size, or ability, but by the power of our mighty God. In this episode of Woman in the Word, we explore what it means to trust God when the odds seem stacked against us, when fear tries to silence our faith, and when the enemy's voice feels louder than God's promises. David didn't face Goliath with conventional weapons or human confidence. He stepped onto the battlefield with faith in the living God, knowing that the battle belonged to the Lord. As women of faith, we all face giants—fear, doubt, discouragement, insecurity, and circumstances that seem impossible to overcome. But what if the battle you're facing is an opportunity to witness God's power in a new way? What if the very place where you feel weakest becomes the place where His strength is revealed? Join us as we discover that God's battle requires God's perspective, God's strength, and unwavering faith in His power. No matter what giant stands before you, remember that victory doesn't depend on how strong you are, but on how great your God is. Key Scripture: “For the battle is the LORD'S, and he will give you into our hands.” — 1 Samuel 17:47 (KJV) Enjoyed this episode of Woman in the Word? Made in the Making

What if the very things meant to break you are the very things God uses to build you? In this episode of Woman in the Word, we journey through Genesis 37–50 to explore the powerful story of Joseph—a man whose life was marked by betrayal, rejection, false accusations, and seasons of waiting, yet whose faith remained anchored in the sovereignty of God. Joseph’s journey reminds us that the process is just as important as the promise. From the pit to Potiphar’s house, from the prison to the palace, God was working behind the scenes, shaping Joseph’s character, strengthening his faith, and preparing him for the purpose placed on his life long before he ever saw it come to pass. Sometimes, the making happens in the moments we would never choose. In the waiting rooms, the hidden seasons, the painful disappointments, and the places where we struggle to understand what God is doing. But Joseph’s story reveals that even when life doesn’t make sense, God is still at work. What others intend for evil, God is able to use for good. Join us as we discover what it means to trust God in the process, remain faithful in the hidden places, and surrender to His timing—even when the journey looks nothing like the dream. Because you are not forgotten in the pit, overlooked in the prison, or disqualified by the process. God is making something in you while He is preparing something for you. You may not be where you thought you would be, but you can trust that God is still working. You are being made in the making.
