    Following Jesus or Following Traditions?

What if some of the religious traditions you've followed your entire life were never commanded in Scripture? Are you truly following Jesus (Yahushua), or are you following traditions passed down through generations? In Season 3, Episode 9 of The Kingdom Order Podcast, Dr. Kevin and Dr. DeWeylla examine the difference between following Messiah's teachings and practicing religious customs that have become deeply embedded in modern Christianity. Many believers sincerely identify as followers of Jesus, but how often do we stop to examine whether our religious practices align with the commandments of the Most High? Drawing from Mark 7:8–13, Matthew 5:17–19, Matthew 22:37–40, and other key scriptures, this episode challenges listeners to reconsider the relationship between religious tradition, biblical obedience, and genuine discipleship. 🔥 In This Episode: Tradition vs. Scripture: Understanding when religious customs become spiritual authority.Love and the Commandments: Did Messiah replace God's commandments with love?Unquestioned Church Traditions: Examining religious holidays, ceremonial garments, leadership titles, and denominational customs. The Biblical Feast Days: Exploring Passover, Shavuot, and the appointed times of the Most High.Following Yahushua: What it truly means to follow Messiah's example and teachings.Returning to Kingdom Order: Learning to distinguish the Father's instructions from inherited religious practices.📖 Key Scriptures Mark 7:8–13 | Matthew 5:17–19 | Matthew 15:9 | Matthew 22:37–40 | Deuteronomy 6:5 | Leviticus 19:18 | Colossians 2:16 | John 15:10 | Luke 6:46 | Matthew 7:21–23 💬 A Question Worth Considering If following Messiah required you to abandon a religious tradition you've practiced your entire life, which would you choose? Following Yahushua or following tradition? This conversation invites believers to examine what they've inherited, study Scripture for themselves, and consider what it truly means to walk in obedience to the Most High. Did Grace Really Replace the Law?

Did grace really replace the law? Most of us have heard "we're not under the law, but under grace," but Scripture never asks us to choose between the two. In Season 3, Episode 8 of The Kingdom Order Podcast, Dr. Kevin Malone and Dr. DeWeylla Malone show that grace was present from the beginning, from Noah finding grace in the eyes of Yahuah, to Israel's deliverance before Sinai, to Yahuah's patience after the golden calf and the provisions for atonement in Leviticus. They ask the uncomfortable question: if sin is lawlessness, did Messiah save us from lawlessness or give us freedom to be lawless? The hosts read Romans 6:14 in context with Romans 6:15 and Romans 3:31, discuss Paul's audience and what it means to be grafted into the covenant, and explain from Titus 2 how grace teaches and transforms. They also share how keeping the Sabbath has changed their lives and draw a clear line between legalism and obedience. Grace does not erase Yahuah's standard. It rescues people who have violated it and calls them back to covenant. Scriptures: Genesis 6:8, Exodus 20:2, Exodus 32–34, Exodus 34:6, Numbers 14, Leviticus 4:20, Matthew 1:21, 1 John 3:4, Romans 6:1–2, Romans 6:14–15, Romans 3:31, Titus 2:11–12, John 14:15 Go deeper in the Remnant Community, where we are studying Genesis chapter by chapter: https://bit.ly/3YZO9q0 Spirit of Truth Ministries: https://sotrr.org Follow the TKO Podcast and share this episode with someone who has been taught to choose between grace and the law. The Truth About Salvation: Are We Really Saved to Just to Go to Heaven?

What if salvation is about far more than escaping hell and going to heaven? In The Truth About Salvation, Dr. Kevin and Dr. DeWeylla challenge common assumptions about what it actually means to be saved and return to Scripture to examine salvation through the lens of sin, covenant, obedience, restoration, and the Kingdom of God. Using passages from Exodus, Deuteronomy, Ezekiel, Matthew, Luke, Galatians, Romans, Acts, 1 John, and Revelation, this episode explores the biblical pattern of bondage, deliverance, covenant, obedience, and inheritance. The conversation examines the definition of sin as lawlessness, redemption from the “curse of the law,” repentance as a return to Yahuah, what it means to be born again, the role of the Holy Spirit, religious tradition, covenant obedience, and the biblical inheritance of the Kingdom. In this episode: Why salvation is more than escaping hellThe connection between salvation, covenant, and restorationWhat Scripture means by sin and lawlessnessBeing redeemed from the curse of the lawWhy repentance involves returning to Yahuah“Born again” and entering the Kingdom of GodReligious tradition versus covenant obedienceWhat believers are ultimately saved for Next episode: Did Grace Replace the Law?📺 Subscribe to Spirit of Truth Ministries on YouTube: 🔗 Join the Remnant Community: https://bit.ly/3YZO9q0🎓 Go deeper at Remnant Global Institute: https://remnantgi.org

Did the Church Change the Gospel

Most of us were taught that the gospel was simple: believe in Jesus and go to heaven when you die. But what did the Messiah himself call the good news? In Season 3, Episode 6 of The Kingdom Order Podcast, Dr. Kevin Malone and Dr. DeWeylla Malone examine what Yahusha, the prophets, and the apostles actually preached, and make the case that the church lost the kingdom message. The hosts point out that Yahusha was preaching "the gospel of the kingdom" (Matthew 4:23) before his death and resurrection, and trace that good news back through Isaiah and Daniel's promise of a kingdom that will never be destroyed. They argue that his Hebrew audience already understood "kingdom" as the restoration of a divided Israel, and that replacement theology has substituted the church for Israel and church membership for covenant.Along the way, they discuss church culture that treats membership like a clique, why they say many sermons have become "light-hearted TED talks," prayer as alignment with Yahuah's will and timing rather than a demand, and why they believe the hope of Scripture is resurrection and restoration on earth rather than escape to heaven. The episode closes with repentance as a return to covenant faithfulness, the apostles' continued kingdom preaching in Acts, and the often-skipped instruction of Matthew 28:20 to teach all that Yahusha commanded. The central question: the gospel doesn't only ask where you will go when you die. It asks whose kingdom you are living under now.If Yahusha said he was sent to preach the kingdom, why do you think so many churches focus on going to heaven instead of the kingdom's restoration? If this episode challenged how you understand the gospel, like, comment, share, and subscribe.📖 Walking the Way is available on Amazon.: https://a.co/d/0giba4NI📺 Subscribe to Spirit of Truth Ministries on YouTube @sotrr🔗 Join the Remnant Community: https://bit.ly/3YZO9q0🎓 Go deeper at Remnant Global Institute: https://remnantgi.orgSpirit of Truth Ministries: https://sotrr.orgListen on Spotify: http://bit.ly/43YUULS The Kingdom Order Podcast is also available on Apple Podcasts and iHeartRadio.

One God or Three? Reexamining the Trinity Through Scripture

f Scripture repeatedly declares that the Most High is one—and the Messiah calls the Father his God—where does the doctrine of three persons in one God come from?In this episode of The Kingdom Order, Dr. DeWeylla and Dr. Kevin reexamine the doctrine of the Trinity by going back to Scripture and asking a foundational question: Does the Bible itself describe God as three co-equal, co-eternal persons?Beginning with the Shema in Deuteronomy 6:4, we explore passages concerning the oneness of Yahuwah and compare them with the words of Yahushua concerning the Father. We examine passages including John 17, John 20, 1 Corinthians 8, 1 Timothy 2, Ephesians 4, and other texts commonly discussed in conversations about the Father, Son, and Ruach HaKodesh. We also discuss the historical development of theological terminology such as Trinity, person, essence, and substance, while challenging listeners to distinguish the language of Scripture from later theological formulations. This conversation goes beyond terminology. It raises important questions about inherited doctrine, religious tradition, prayer, spiritual discernment, and why believers should examine teachings within their biblical context rather than simply accepting what they have always heard. 📖 Walking the Way is available on Amazon.: https://a.co/d/0giba4NIIf this conversation challenges you, like the episode, subscribe, and share it with someone studying this subject. Is Jesus God or the Son of God?

Is Jesus God, or the Son of God? In Season 3, Episode 4 of The Kingdom Order, Dr. Kevin Malone and Dr. DeWeylla Malone examine Messiah's identity through his own words rather than through later theological formulas. Starting from "Whom say ye that I am?" and Peter's confession that Yahushua is the Messiah, the Son of the living Elohim, the hosts walk through the passages most often cited to equate the Son with the Father — John 10:30, John 14:9, and John 1:1-14 — and argue that each one describes unity of purpose, authority, and work rather than a single person. They point to Yahushua praying to the Father, quoting the Shema from Deuteronomy 6, telling the people to worship Yahuah alone, and repeatedly saying that the doctrine and the words he spoke were not his own but the Father's. The conversation also addresses what the hosts see as the practical cost of the confusion: worship, songs, and prayer directed almost entirely to the Son while the Father goes unacknowledged. They distinguish the honor Scripture gives the Son — Lord, Master, Messiah, High Priest, intercessor, Savior, the one given all authority in heaven and earth — from the highest worship they say belongs to Yahuah alone. In the closing segment, Dr. Kevin and Dr. DeWeylla give their view of how the confusion developed, attributing it to Greek philosophical categories such as essence, substance, nature, co-equality, and co-eternity being applied to a Hebrew text, and to church councils of the first through third centuries adopting terminology they say was never spoken by Yahushua or the apostles. These are the hosts' positions on contested history, offered as a call to re-examine inherited doctrine — not, as they state directly, to condemn sincere believers. This episode builds on Episode 3, and the next episode takes up Trinitarian doctrine: one God or three.
