    This Is What God Does

    Last week, we shared how Becky's life was all over the place physically, emotionally, and spiritually. This week isn’t about what she did. It’s about what God did. In Part 2 of Becky’s testimony, we continue the conversation by sharing how God was working in her life long before she could recognize it.     Where is Jessie Now?!

    In this continuation of Jessie’s testimony, he catches us up on where he is now and what God is doing in his life currently. He speaks on how he has struggled with leaving marijuana and alcohol alone because he didn’t have a conviction about it, and how God radically delivered him from smoking weed.     Are We Loving Each Other Well?

    Are we loving people well, or are we loving people conditionally? In this episode of Dem Church Kids, we’re having an honest conversation about love, grace, judgment, acceptance, and what it actually means to reflect Jesus. We discuss how people receive love differently, how God meets people exactly where they are, and why it’s dangerous to expect everyone’s walk to look the same. Just because somebody doesn’t look like you, act like you, or grow at the same pace as you doesn’t mean God isn’t working on them.     Trusting In God's Promises

    In this episode of Dem Church Kids, we’re having an honest conversation about God’s timing, waiting well, and learning how to trust what He is doing, even when we don’t fully understand it. Sometimes God will reveal something to us, give us vision, or show us a glimpse of what’s ahead… but that doesn’t always mean it’s time to move. We talk about the tension of wanting to build, wanting to leave a legacy, wanting to see things happen now, while God is calling us to be content, focus on heavenly things, and trust Him in the season we’re actually in. This episode is a reminder that everything happens in God’s timing and in due season. We don’t have to rush what He’s growing, force what He hasn’t released, or measure our lives by what the world says we should be building. Maybe the waiting isn’t wasted. Maybe obedience right here is the point.

    In this episode of Dem Church Kids, we’re continuing the conversation from part 1. Talking honestly about the gospel, love, and the way we treat people. Because maybe…we’ve gotten this wrong.We talk about how easy it is to look the part, follow rules, and still miss the heart of God. The gospel isn’t just what we say, it’s how we love. And if there’s no fruit, then what are we really doing?This is a real, unfiltered conversation about conviction, humility, and letting God do the inner work instead of trying to fix people from the outside.

    In this episode of Dem Church Kids, we’re back for season 2 and sharing what the Lord has been doing in us during the break. What started as a catch-up turned into an honest conversation about dependency, humility, conviction, and the inner work God wants to do in our hearts. It’s easy to grow up in church and know how to look the part, but God is after something deeper. He wants fruit, not performance. If you’ve been in a season of unlearning, pruning, and letting the Lord deal with your heart, this conversation is for you.
