Life in Flow Group

This podcast isn’t simply about intellectual discussions (although we like those). What we’re playing with is the creation of a shared field that goes far beyond the mental. We experiment with attuning to what is emerging in this field at each moment, so that the conversation itself becomes a group flow experience. www.lifeinflowgroup.com

What is our relationship with “No”?

What happens inside us when we hear the word "no"? In this episode, we get ourselves pulled into the conversation about what "no" actually does to us. Through exploring different ways of saying the word itself, through personal stories of cold calling, closed family doors, and the relief of giving something up, we discover that "no" is far more than a word. It's a vibration that lands differently in every nervous system, shaped by gender, history, and the stories we carry. Sometimes it shuts us down. Sometimes it sets us free. How do we step into the sense of belonging with Life?

Where do you belong? And what happens when the answer is "nowhere"? In this episode, we explore what belonging and not-belonging feel like. What if belonging isn't about finding the right people or the right community at all? Through stories of paradise beaches, trees that stir something in your DNA, and the cells we carry from those who came before us, we talk about how shifting your reference point — from people to land, from land to Life itself — can transform even the deepest sense of not fitting in. Along the way, we touch on the immigrant experience, the wild as a source of unconditional mothering, and a spirited debate about whether AI can offer a sense of belonging to those who can't find it among humans. 📍Chapters 00:00 — Intro  01:15 — Welcome sound ritual  02:32 — What brings us to belonging  08:47 — What does not-belonging feel like?  16:25 — What does belonging feel like?  26:09 — What do we even mean by belonging?  33:10 — Different levels of belonging  38:32 — Belonging TO life vs belonging WITH life  42:00 — Your umbilical cord: I am OF this land 47:57 — Shifting reference points: from people to life  51:24 — Cells of my father: being OF life  55:00 — Wild belonging: nature as unconditional mothering  01:02:23 — Can AI fill the belonging gap?  01:12:13 — How do we define life?  01:18:28 — Closing reflections  01:25:47 — Outro 💌 Resources used under Creative Common license: Music  “Echolocation” by airtone, source: CcMixter Find us here:  Life in Flow Podcast Yulia Bogdanova Polina Khodova Irina Mishina Get full access to Life In Flow at www.lifeinflowgroup.com/subscribe

    What is Real?

What if imagination is just as real as the chair you're sitting on? After two weeks dreaming herself awake in the Anza-Borrego desert, Yulya came back with a question — and brought it into this conversation, where the three of us show up in personas we don't usually wear and use them as a doorway into reality itself. We talk about shared illusions, the cost of living on the fringe of consensus, and why some of us simply can't survive in a world without magic. 📍Chapters 00:00 — Yulya Welcomes: Strange Outfits and "What Is Real?" 02:37 — Yulya's Vision Quest: Anza-Borrego and the Underworld Journey 07:03 — The Games: Playing With "Real" and Assembling Personas 19:33 — Wild Woman, Destroyer, Seductress: The Personas Speak 24:06 — Was the Persona Real — Or Just the Costume? 29:05 — Irina's Frame: Becoming the Character from the Outside In 36:33 — Dumbledore's Answer: "Why Should It Mean It's Not Real?" 39:14 — The Black Cube Experiment: How Society Rewrites What You See 48:13 — Polina: Everything Is Real, Nothing Is Real 50:06 — When Polina Shapeshifted Into a Bird 55:51 — Following Aliveness and the Cost of Being Shunned 1:02:00 — The Body Refuses: A World Without Magic 1:15:39 — Irina's Bun Date: "Please Take It Down" 1:20:49 — On the Outskirts: Three Closings on Aliveness and Owning It 1:26:17 — Polina's Twist: The Joy of Range Find us here: * Life in Flow Podcast * Yulia Bogdanova * Polina Khodova * Irina Mishina 💌 Resources used under Creative Commons license: Music “Echolocation” by airtone, source: CcMixter Get full access to Life In Flow at www.lifeinflowgroup.com/subscribe

    Where does sacredness live?

What if the most important transitions of your life need more than just going through the motions? Sparked by Polina's raw experience of losing her father and grandfather, this conversation moves from the somatic signatures of words like "ritual" and "sacred" into the deep territory of what makes ceremony real — and what happens when it's missing. Through stories of funerals, theater rehearsals, vision quests, and sleeping under the moon, we explore how sacredness differs from flow, why one person's inattention can break the fabric of a shared ritual, and whether the morphic field already holds everything we need — if we're willing to open the door. 📍Chapters 00:00 - Intro 01:15 - Today's Topic: Transitions, Rituals & Witnessing 05:13 - Somatic Game: What Does "Ritual" Feel Like? 09:30 - Somatic Game: What Does "Sacred" Feel Like? 27:13 - What Is “Sacred”? 30:00 - How Is Sacredness Different From Flow? 44:10 - Sacredness of Death & Wisdom of the Morphic Field 49:19 - Sacred Creativity: Disrupting the Group Flow 53:33 - The Sacredness of Flow of Life 56:07 - Empty Rituals vs Sacred Ceremonies 59:29 - Polina's Story: Experiences of Death Rituals 01:03:45 - Cosmological View of Death 01:07:09 - Altered States vs Flow States of Sacredness 01:11:45 - Meaning, Morphic Fields, and Access to Sacredness 01:15:10 - The Sacred Transmission: Feeling His Cells in Mine 01:17:13 - Sitting Shiva: Rituals That Hold Grief 01:18:52 - The Significance of the Underworld 01:21:20 - Rites of Passage We've Lost 01:23:23 - Sacredness of the Physicality 01:27:50 - Closing Reflections: Rituals for Accessing Something Bigger 01:36:12 - Outro Find us here: * Life in Flow Podcast * Yulia Bogdanova * Polina Khodova * Irina Mishina 💌 Resources used under Creative Commons license: Music “Echolocation” by airtone, source: CcMixter Get full access to Life In Flow at www.lifeinflowgroup.com/subscribe

    Is There Free Will?

Does choosing chocolate ice cream after a heartbreak count as a free decision — or is your biology running the show? In this episode, we wrestle with the slippery line between free will and agency, exploring how our bodies, lineages, and the living world around us co-create every move we make. Through a surprising paradox — how total surrender of free will leads to rediscovering it — we arrive at a question even bigger than where we started: not whether we make decisions, but who within us is making them. 📍Chapters 00:00 — Intro  1:15 — Welcome and episode context  5:05 — Metaphor game: what does free will feel like?  10:13 — Metaphor game: what does no free will feel like?  16:05 — What frameworks shape your view of free will?  19:15 — Yulia's framework: free will vs agency  33:53 — Polina's framework: a pointless question?  36:05 — The best decisions aren't decisions  42:17 — Polina's story: being decided on  49:44 — The soul's place in the web of life 52:53 — Irina's frameworks: Human Design meets magic school  1:00:29 — Different levels of free will 1:08:23 — Is free will a modern invention?  1:11:33 — But are we making decisions or not?  1:21:29 — The real question: who is the "I" that decides?  1:25:08 — Are we happy not having free will?  1:32:02 — Where did we each show up today? 1:34:40 — Outro Find us here: * Life in Flow Podcast * Yulia Bogdanova * Polina Khodova * Irina Mishina 💌 Resources used under Creative Commons license: Music “Echolocation” by airtone, source: CcMixter Get full access to Life In Flow at www.lifeinflowgroup.com/subscribe

    How Do We Converge Generatively?

What happens when "yes, and" meets the necessity of "no"? Picking up from our exploration of utopia and the dance between the individual and the collective, we sit with a structural truth: the realm of infinite possibilities is beautiful, but nothing actually happens there. Through a rapid-fire game of impossible choices, Yulya's story of choosing from the body during her son's illness, and Polina's closing reframe, we explore what convergence feels like somatically, why creative people struggle with it most, and whether we're making decisions at all — or just floating on a raft, thinking we steer.
