Showing up in struggling communities where many are invisible. Collaborating, sharing and creating connections where we all exist across the miles. The Common Ground Community Rescue Network core mission is to always leave room for Hope extended towards those who need it most.Proximity is not a prerequisite as Hope has no boundaries. We simply search out areas where a warm blanket makes all the difference and opportunities are few. Our compassionate action network is based upon our belief that help should always been given to those struggling in areas both near and far.STACEY EDGEBOARD MEMBER & PRESIDENTStacey is the founder of Common Ground leading a path forward distributing Hope to People & Pets. A background in charity for over 15 years with a propensity to gather to give. Guiding a 100% volunteer-led team following a mission-driven C.A.R.E. pillar approach. Stacey coordinates the rescue intakes and partnerships, charity stewardship, marketing and communications. She engages with the media to expand our reach as well as runs the overall organization since 2017.Nicole Shuma lives in the Norwest Suburbs of IL. As a mom and a Mimi! Nicole has 2 wonderful children and 1 granddaughter. She graduated from college at the age of 50 and received a degree in Business Management. In her last semester of school her coffee business was part of a final project, just on paper, now a reality.Nicole has been a foster for many years, this brings her to help with financial needs for spays and neutering. To help control the pet population.
