    Episode 19: Denver Summit Recap/Gotham Preview

    We got three points! After a great mid week draw against the Courage, the Legacy picked up all three points against Denver Summit in somewhat dramatic fashion (hello two goals basically in stoppage time?) We were so pumped to record this episode. Andy and Courtney are joined by returning guest and self described Swan Dive Super Fan Brooks to recap the Legacy's big win. We then were joined once again by Gary from the Soccer Over Gotham podcast for the Gotham preview. Gary shares his thoughts on the season so far for Gotham and things to watch heading into this weekend's rematch. As always, we rounded out the show with our predictions for the match. Here's a reminder of the standings after Game 7 (spoiler alert, not looking great for. Courtney but it's okay, the Legacy won so all is well).     Episode 18: Courage Recap/Denver Summit Preview

    Quick turnaround for us this week, but we were excited to record this next episode because the Legacy got their first point! After weeks of listening to us talk about tough Legacy losses, we finally get to talk about a draw. Andy and Courtney were joined by third time guest Dave (who now holds the record for most Swan Dive guest caps) to review the draw against the North Carolina Courage. The team discusses the positives (goals!) the maybe not so positive (goals, but for the other team), Courtney admits she was very wrong in her opinion about a certain Legacy player from last episode and we learn some fun info about an NWSL record broken by one of our very own players. We were then joined for the Denver Summit preview by Kali and Hallie, two thirds of the Summit Up podcast covering all things Denver Summit. We chat a bit about being sister expansion teams, how the season has gone so far and what to expect in the future and of course, the NWSL record breaking attendance from their home opener. Lastly, as always we made some predictions for Sunday's match. For the first time ever, no one got points for the last game so the standings remain unchanged.     Episode 17: Stars Recap/Courage Preview

    Multiple games in one week means multiple Swan Dive episodes in one week! On today's episode we are joined by Julianne to discuss the encouraging but also so very frustrating loss to the Chicago Stars. The Swan Dive team discusses the good, the bad, and the not quite, but maybe sort of ugly in what was arguably (but not really arguably) the best Legacy performance to date despite the loss and lack of goals. Andy, Courtney and Julianne were then joined by Katie from The Lion's Pitch podcast to preview the Legacy's mid week clash against the North Carolina Courage. Learn a bit about the Courage as a team and our thoughts on how we think the match will shake out (spoiler alert, we might be a little nervous).     Episode 16: Chicago Stars Preview and a Chat with Jeff Kassouf

    It was...not a long international break, but long enough. We are so excited to be back and are celebrating in a very big and cool way. On this episode of The Swan Dive, we are joined by ESPN's Lead Women's Soccer Writer and Equalizer Soccer Founder Jeff Kassouf. Andy and Jeff chat all things Legacy, from coaching to roster building and tactics to performance. He even made a prediction for this weekend's match against the Stars in lieu of us having another fan guest on. We also had Liz from Red Stars Report on to preview this weekend's game against the Chicago Stars. Liz shares some history about the Stars and thoughts about what this weekend's match up may look like. This also means that the predictions are back!     Episode 15: Wave Recap and Vibe Check

    Well Legacy fans, it was another tough, but close loss in the most recent match and unfortunately (but not really because we love making the podcast), its our job to talk about it. Joining Andy and Courtney this week is first time guest Brendan. Hang out with the Swan Dive crew as we discuss our newest Boston Legacy signing Sam Angel as well as recap the most recent match against the San Diego Wave. With the international break coming up there's no preview but we do have a casual pre-break vibe check on how everyone is feeling about the season so far. Also it was a sad week for Courtney as far as predictions go as she was the only person not to score a point. Our opposing guests are still out to a commanding lead, but third seat guest finally got a point thanks to Liz predicting a Wave win last week.     Episode 14: Royals Recap/Wave Preview

    Legacy fans, history occurred at Gillette when the Aissata scored the first ever goal in Boston Legacy history. Yes, the team still lost, but the first goal finally happened! This week we had a full Swan Dive crew podcast as Andy and Courtney are joined by Swan Dive's Social Media Manager (and Andy's wife) Liz to discuss the match against Utah Royals. We saw quite a few lineup changes, some very questionable officiating and most importantly, the Legacy's first goal! We cover all those things and more and then are joined by Wave fan/content creator Alyssa to preview the upcoming match against San Diego on Friday. Just a reminder how we are all doing on the prediction game (spoiler, the Swan Dive team could be doing better).     Episode 13: Dash Recap/Royals Preview

    Well, this weekend's Legacy match might not have gone how we all would have like, but its our job to talk about it all the same. Andy and Courtney are joined this week by first time guest Cathy recap the Legacy's 3-0 loss against the Houston Dash. After that, they are joined by Sean from the Royal Riot podcast to learn a bit more about the Utah Royals and share some thoughts on how the match against Utah might go this weekend. As is tradition, we wrapped up the episode with our match day predictions. For those keeping track at home, this is how we are all doing through two game weeks thus far.     Episode 12: Gotham Recap/Dash Preview

    Its our first recap episode! Courtney and Andy are joined by first time guest Rodrigo as they recap Boston Legacy's inaugural match played against Gotham FC. From game-day vibes to thoughts on the actual soccer portion of the day, the team covers it all (even NKOTB, obviously). We also have our first game prediction results: Courtney and Andy guessed Gotham correctly as the winners so each have 1 point, our third seat guests currently have 0 points, and, perhaps surprising to no one, our opposing guest Gary from Soccer Over Gotham got the whole result correct, giving the opposing guest seat a whopping 3 points. We also look ahead to this weekend's match against the Houston Dash and were happy to be joined by Dani and OSG from Foxtrot Media, a group covering all things Houston Dynamo and Dash. They gave us some insights on this year's Dash team and thoughts on Boston before we all focused on the match.
