You feel ready to embrace your voice, your calling, and your draw to teach and help others in big ways. You want to create offers you love selling and fill your client roster and programs without falling  into icky, pushy, manipulative salesy approaches. There's one marketing exercise that has a sneaky way of getting you to shrink your message: defining your  ideal client avatar As I go over in today's episode, the approach to niching down can narrow your message so much it doesn't bring you the same joy nor does it even feel very aligned anymore.  How do you sell something you'll eventually come to resent? I've seen it and I've been the person to come in and help address it.  These ideal client exercises can seem innocent enough. It's reasonable to ask "who is the best fit for what I do and what outcomes do they want?" Yet, the initial approach to many of these exercises have too many healers and creatives with big messages feeling like they have to suck it up and promise certain outcomes in order to sell their program...even if the outcomes aren't entirely true. You don't need to do all that. I promise. I've been the go-to person for health and wellness practitioners and creatives who have felt unheard and misunderstood in many other marketing programs or by copywriters. Your ideal clients should be ideal for you too. That's why I teach a prototyping exercise to do before you overly define who your dream client really is. When you write, speak and share your message and imagine them listening, it will have you feeling more like yourself, not less. That's the intention. Try it out in today's episode. Honestly, it can feel straight up limiting. What happens when you have created multiple offers that seem to be for different people? This is especially relevant for healers, coaches, wellness practitioners, and creatives. Your skills are limitless. And, you have a natural gift you know helps people. But a lot of that doesn't come through, the real essence of YOU, when you put your message into tiny marketing boxes too soon. There's a creative phase in messaging that gets skipped in the name of rushing out something "that works." But, a lot of times it doesn't work, stops working, or doesn't work well for YOU (as in it starts draining the life force energy right out of you). That's why I take a very energetic approach to messaging. How do you bring out your boldest message and still connect with someone who can become a client?  How do you do that without getting salesy or betraying your values?  Today, I'm deep diving into a client's ideal client avatars to show how I'd create messaging that speaks to their most viable client in a human first manner. No proving. No straining yourself to get in front of them and win their attention.  The thing is, though, once people do work with you...they get it. They experience the magic.  Yet, are they coming in for a short time, or a long time? Once you're working with a new client, are any of these things happening:  You find yourself pouring hours of energy into something you charged a relatively small price for?  Are most of these offers one-off sessions with the hopes that they'll keep going?  Has it felt challenging to package up what you really want to do without getting tripped up on pricing, value, and will anyone show up?  I get to dive deep into this in today's episode in a rare live messaging session I did with Vedic Astrology, Christina Kennedy.  Christina generously agreed to come on the podcast to share the incredible story of how she went from astrology skeptic to expert.
