    The Chicago Cubs put together a statement win in the desert, shutting out the Arizona Diamondbacks 7-0 behind an absolutely dominant start from Kevin Gausman.     What a night at Wrigley! The Chicago Cubs delivered a dramatic comeback and an electric finish, capped by Pete Crow-Armstrong's walk-off hit against the White Sox. The atmosphere was absolutely INSANE as the Cubs battled back late. Nico Hoerner came through with a clutch game-tying hit in the bottom of the 9th, setting the stage for PCA to play the hero.     How bad is Dansby Swanson's injury, Edward Cabrera's TERRIBLE outing, and Chicago Cubs disappointing weekend against the Cardinals

    The Cubs’ weekend against the Cardinals went from promising to disastrous in a hurry. Chicago dropped two straight games to St. Louis after winning Friday’s opener, but the biggest concern coming out of the weekend is Dansby Swanson. The Cubs’ shortstop left Sunday’s game after an awkward swing and is headed to the injured list with a left oblique injury. An MRI is expected to provide more clarity on the severity and timeline, but losing Swanson at this point of the season could be a massive blow for a deep playoff run for the Cubs.
