For both parties, there are some lessons about who to trust out in the Wasteland and figuring out the variations on risk vs. reward.     Tensions start to rise- both externally and among the 76ers- as Mr. Dark helps reveal some secrets that test how much Xander, Rabbit, Gina, and Archie can trust one another, despite desperate circumstances and danger closing in on every side. Continuing his story, Xander recounts how he dealt with witnessing his first death in the Wasteland with questions and frustrations abound- along with some encounters from faces from the Vault that bring him to some places he never expected. In other areas of Appalachia, Gina and Archie start making a forward plan and Bryce finds a new traveling companion in an energetic cryptid enthusiast.     Picking up immediately where the previous episode ends, we now find out what ultimately happened to Xander on the way back from the Landview Lighthouse. As things unfold and night turns to day Bryce and Robin seek out Snallygasters, Trixie learns something that sounds important, and Rabbit copes with the aftermath of the night before. As light is shown on one of the stranger, more morbid truths of the dwellers of Vault 76 other mysteries are bubbling up behind the scenes, and even in the far future Mr. Dark hears a small piece of what he seems to be searching for in Xander's tale. As the dust settles, Mr. Dark gets a story that he may not have anticipated in his search for what he wants. As the gang tells their story, they recount a particular trip to the Vault 69 Gym. Despite some reservations, the gang has their own individual reasons for checking it out- and some of them are presented with various dangerous challenges by its proprietor: the one and only Chad Johnson.
