E103 The false messiah and the fire this time

There is a messiah coming. The world is waiting for him. Millions are praying for him. Armies are positioning for him. But he is not the One you think. In Iran right now, a man sits in a seat of power who believes his entire purpose is to burn the world down so his messiah can rise from the ashes. His name is Mojtaba Khamenei. And his regime is not playing politics. They are playing apocalypse. In this episode, we pull back the curtain on the Islamic Mahdi, compare him to the biblical Antichrist, and answer the question no news anchor will ask: Why will Iran never, ever come to a genuine agreement with Israel? The answer is not in a diplomatic cable. It is in a prophecy. WHAT YOU WILL LEARN • Who the Islamic Mahdi really is – Not Jesus. Not a peacemaker. A warrior whose arrival requires global destruction. • Why Iran's new Supreme Leader is an apocalyptic ideologue – Mojtaba Khamenei and the doctrine of Tamhis (divine sifting through chaos). • The clash of two messiahs – How the Mahdi's mission contradicts everything about Jesus Christ. • Where the Mahdi fits (or doesn't fit) with biblical prophecy – 2 Thessalonians 2, Ezekiel 38–39, and the spirit of the Antichrist. • The Christian response – Not panic. Prayer, preparation, and proclamation. ABOUT THIS EPISODE This is not a political commentary. It is a prophetic warning and a call to prayer. We do not fear Iran — but we must understand what drives it. The regime in Tehran is not rational by Western standards. It is theological. And until Christians grasp that, we will keep misreading the headlines. E102 The Post-Secular Awakening – When Reality Shifts

You've felt it. The ground shifting. The old certainties—science, politics, money, education—aren't holding the way they once did. And that's not a crisis. That's an invitation. In this episode, we explore what prophet Emma Stark has called the "post-secular" age: a time when the Western world is no longer embarrassed by spiritual questions. People aren't asking if God exists anymore. They're asking which God—and how to meet Him. We'll talk about: · Why the natural vs. spiritual divide is crumbling · How dissatisfaction with secularism is actually a wake-up call · Why the enemy overplayed his hand during the Enlightenment · What the church must become in this new frontier (hint: not debaters, but witnesses of encounter) · And a gentle warning: post-secular hunger without discernment can lead to counterfeit christs Scripture references include Joel 2:28, Romans 8:19, John 5:39–40, Zechariah 4:6, Jeremiah 29:13, and 1 John 4:1. If you're tired of arguing about God and hungry to actually meet Him—this episode is for you. Keywords: post-secular, spiritual awakening, Emma Stark, prophetic, encounter with God, end times, antichrist, discernment, radical encounter, Holy Spirit Listener takeaway: You don't need to argue the Kingdom. You need to speak it, live it, and be it. LISTEN NEXT • 🎧 E101 The Shibbolet Test - The one word that saves or destroys. • 🎧 E98 The council of the Lord: Whar happens. E100 Can You Believe it

Can you believe it? One hundred episodes. I just want to start this one by saying thank you. From the bottom of my heart—thank you to every single person who has listened, who has shared an episode, who has sent a message of support. I see you. I value you. Each one of you has made this journey what it is. And what a journey it's been. But before we celebrate, I need to do something else. Something harder than thanking you. I need to correct something I got wrong. In a previous episode, I taught that the Restrainer in 2 Thessalonians 2 was the Holy Spirit. After deeper study, prayer, and looking at the text more carefully—I was wrong. And if I'm wrong, I want to be the first to say it. And I want to correct it. On air. Publicly. Because truth matters more than being right. So in this 100th episode, I'm walking you through five pieces of evidence that changed my mind. The grammar of the Greek text. The role of the Church as salt and light. The theological problem of the Holy Spirit being "taken out of the way." And the fact that Paul told the Thessalonians this face to face—so they knew exactly who the Restrainer was. Spoiler: It's the Church. It's you. It's us. And that changes everything about how you see your role in these days. WHAT YOU WILL LEARN • The correction I needed to make – Why I taught the Restrainer as the Holy Spirit, and why that was incorrect • Five pieces of evidence from 2 Thessalonians 2 – The grammatical shift from neuter to masculine, the role of salt and light, why the Holy Spirit cannot be "taken out of the way," and what Paul had already taught them • Why identity matters more than ever – The number one thing coming through our Healing Rooms ministry is identity. Who you are in Christ. How Christ sees you. And why knowing that allows you to stand. • What you're actually here for – The stats don't lie. You want deep dives. Scripture cracked open. Prophetic words unfolding. What's happening in the world today—and how to be prepared for it. That's what we're leaning into. • What the Restrainer means for you right now – You are not just waiting for the Spirit to do something. You are the Restrainer. Your presence, your prayers, your witness—they are holding back lawlessness. And one day, when the Church is taken out of the way, the end comes. ABOUT THIS EPISODE This is Episode 100 of Lion Roars from Zion. One hundred episodes of sitting down, reading the Bible, waiting for that rhema word to land, studying it more, and bringing prophetic insights to you. I love this journey. And I know—this is what you guys like. The discipleship series? It was good. Solid teaching. But that's not what you're here for. And that's okay. We run a discipleship WhatsApp group every Sunday for those training resources. But for the podcast? You want deep dives. So that's what we'll keep giving you. This episode is personal. It's a thank-you. It's a correction. And it's a prophetic declaration over the next 100 episodes. Tone: Warm, honest, vulnerable, and prophetic. A milestone celebration with a backbone.
