EP 6: The Good (Creative) Book

It's not a textbook. It's not a manual. It's a collection of inspired creative writing. It's God's Word for us. In this episode, Dave and Jimmy Orr explore what it means that God chose to speak through historical narrative, poetry, parable, apocalyptic vision, and song. Together they dig into what it looks like to read Scripture imaginatively, why a mosaic of voices and literary styles across the whole canon gives us a fuller picture of God, and why that's actually good news for artists and anyone hungry to know him.

EP 5: God is Still Making

You know the refrain — Christ has died, Christ has risen, Christ will come again. But what if there's another version? In this episode, we explore what Scripture says about God's creativity not as a one-time event in Genesis, but as the ongoing nature of who Christ is — past, present, and future. From Job 38 to Revelation 21, the thread is everywhere once you see it.

    Introducing Creative Theology

Theology, by definition, is the study of the nature of God. Topics like beauty and creativity are not niche to our faith. They are a central vein in which we learn about Who God is.
