    Where is your heart going? | Andy Brown

    What if the gap between who we think we are and who we truly are is wider than we realize? This message invites us into an honest, soul-searching inventory of our lives, asking questions that cut straight to the heart: Where do we spend our time? What keeps us up at night? What are we afraid to lose? These questions are not meant to shame us but to awaken us to a truth that Jesus lays out plainly in Matthew 6. The surprising logic He offers flips our assumptions upside down. We tend to believe that our hearts lead us to what we treasure, but Jesus reverses that entirely. He tells us that where our treasure is, that is precisely where our hearts will be found. Our treasure does not just reveal our hearts, it relocates them. This means that if we want to change the direction of our lives, we do not start by trying to change our feelings or our motivations. We start by moving our treasure. That is a principle with profound implications for how we spend our time, our money, our attention, and our energy every single day.     Removing the Veil | Andy Brown

    What changes when we truly believe Jesus is coming again? In “Removing the Veil,” we explore how the promised return of Christ reshapes the way we live today. The resurrection of Jesus is not merely a past event—it is the beginning of God’s promised future breaking into our present reality. Through 1 Thessalonians 4:13–5:6, we are reminded that Christians do not grieve without hope. Jesus died, rose again, and will return. Until that day, we are called to live by faith rather than sight, refusing to treat money, power, politics, success, suffering, or even death as ultimate. This message challenges us to ask: What am I treating as ultimate simply because I can see it? What am I building my life around that has no place in the future Jesus is bringing? Our hope is not found in knowing every detail about the end times. Our hope is found in knowing the One who is coming.     Why Is There Only One Way To God | Andy Brown

    In this message from our Behind the Veil series, we examine what qualifies Jesus to declare, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life.” Jesus is not merely one way among many, a guide with directions, or a teacher whose principles we should master. He is Lord—and He is the way home. Through the stories of Thomas, Philip, and Moses, we discover that we need more than directions and more than God’s blessings. We need God Himself.     How Did Jesus Prepare the Way to Heaven? | Andy Brown

    What does it actually take for people like us to live in the presence of a holy God? That question sits at the heart of this message, and the answer is more liberating than we might expect. Drawing from Hebrews 10, we are walked through the ancient sacrificial system and shown why it could never fully close the gap between us and God. Every repeated offering at the temple did one thing well: it reminded people that the distance was still there. But then something changed everything. When Christ offered Himself as a single, once-for-all sacrifice, He did not just patch the problem. He dismantled the old order entirely and established a new one. Sin is explored here not merely as a list of bad habits we think we can manage, but as something far deeper: everything within us that falls short of the holy life God created us for, and our fundamental refusal to trust and reflect Him. Understanding sin at that depth helps us feel the full weight of what Christ actually accomplished on the cross.     What Did Jesus Say About Heaven? | Andy Brown

    What comes to mind when you think about heaven? Streets of gold, a grand mansion, a reunion with loved ones? These are natural thoughts, but this message invites us to dig deeper into what Jesus Himself said about where He is from. In John 14, Jesus describes heaven not as an abstract destination but as 'My Father's house' -- a place of belonging, welcome, and permanent fellowship. That single phrase reshapes everything. It is not a vacant estate at the end of a mysterious road. It is a home with the light on and the door open. As we trace this idea through Scripture, from Jacob's dream of a ladder reaching heaven in Genesis 28, to Solomon's temple, to Isaiah's declaration that God desires to dwell not in buildings but in humble hearts, we begin to see a breathtaking pattern unfolding across the whole Bible. God has always been moving toward us, longing to make His dwelling with His people. That longing finds its ultimate expression in Jesus Himself, who, as John 1:14 tells us, tabernacled among us.     Who Can Tell Us What's Really Out There | Andy Brown

    What lies beyond the world we can see, touch, and measure? That question has driven human curiosity since the beginning of time, and it drives us still today. In this message, we are invited to stop grasping at speculation and instead turn to the one person who has actually crossed the boundary between the seen and the unseen. Anchored in John chapter 3, we encounter Nicodemus, a man of reputation, education, and religious authority, who comes to Jesus in the night with the same restless questions we carry. His story is startlingly familiar. He sees the signs, he senses that something greater is at work, and yet he cannot quite make sense of it all. Jesus meets him not with dismissal but with a stunning declaration: no one has climbed up to heaven on their own. The barrier is real. Our language, our reasoning, and our experience are all earthbound and limited. But here is where everything changes. While every human effort strains upward trying to reach the divine, Christianity makes a radically different claim. God came down. Jesus, described as the Word, the very expression of the Father, descended into our darkness so that we would not have to find our way to him in the dark. That is not a small distinction. That is the entire story. And it means that the answers to our deepest questions are not found by climbing higher in our own thinking, but by receiving the one who has already made the journey for us.     How to Discern God’s Work Without Standing in His Way | Andy Brown

    What happens when God calls us to step beyond everything familiar and comfortable? In this message, we explore the fourth and most challenging characteristic of genuine spiritual awakening: the move from conviction, assurance, and peace into active, obedient participation in God's work. Drawing from Acts chapters 10 and 11, we witness a pivotal moment in the early church where God poured out His Spirit on people no one expected, and the question it raised was not simply theological but deeply personal. The central tension is one we all recognize: the difference between discernment and resistance. Discernment leans in and asks, Lord, show me what You are doing. Resistance folds its arms and asks God to do things differently, through someone else, on our terms. Peter's journey from a rooftop vision filled with confusion to standing before a household of Gentiles watching the Holy Spirit fall is a portrait of what it looks like to let God expand our horizons rather than protect our comfort. The message invites us to examine the places in our lives where we have dressed up disobedience as careful discernment, and to consider whether we are standing at the threshold of something extraordinary with closed arms or open hands.
