Our other episodes sound better!** *Please note, there are no trigger warnings and the first half of the episode is spoiler free!* "The Dead have waited. The day has come." ITS ZOMBIE TIME!!!!!! This has been a long awaited sub genre and trust us, its absolutely dripping in undead goodness! We talk about the absolute zombie classic, Day of The Dead, directed by THEE GODFATHER OF ZOMBIES: George A. Romero & pair it with the latest installment in the "28" franchise, 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple, directed by Nia DaCosta.  It does not get better than these two franchises (Romero's "Dead" films and the "28" films) when it comes to zombies. They are both chucked full of the things that make everyone love these ghouls: body horror, nuanced looks at humanity, gnarly action, and apocalyptic survival. So join us as we take a look at the origin of the zombie, share our love for Romero, and dig deep into Ralph Fiennes INCREDIBLE performance in Bone Temple. ... 🌟NEW EPISODES WEDNESDAYS 🤟 Loving the pod?
