    Let's Meet Anna!

    Hey Party People!  Join me for the next episode where we share time and space with Anna!  Anna earned their doctorate in sport and exercise psychology from Springfield College, where they now serve as an assistant professor of research and exercise science. They teach graduate courses in research methods, statistics, sport and exercise psychology, and exercise science. In addition to their faculty role, Bottino is a research assistant with the University of Minnesota Department of Pediatrics’ Equitable Sport and Physical Activity Innovations (ESPI) Lab and with Athlete Ally, a nonprofit dedicated to advancing LGBTQIA+ inclusion in sport. Their research centers on LGBTQIA+ young people’s experiences in sport and physical activity, as well as the development of critical quantitative and qualitative research practices. Bottino is actively involved in several professional organizations, including the Association for Applied Sport Psychology, Social Justice through Sport and Exercise Psychology, the North American Society for the Sociology of Sport, and the Society of Health and Physical Educators. Beyond academia, they bring extensive experience as a coach, consultant, and former elite athlete. They currently reside in Western Massachusetts, where they enjoy exploring the outdoors with their partner, friends, and dogs.
