Davis, along with Gainesville High School Athletic Director Adam Lindsey, Behind the G brings the past, present, and future of Gainesville High School (Georgia) together to highlight the tradition of Red Elephant athletic excellence formed since the school’s founding in 1892.     Behind the G with Big Red soccer coach Elie Viviant

    Gainesville boys soccer is in the state semifinals for the first time since 2019 thanks to three playoff wins, the most recent a 3-1 quarterfinal victory against Pope Tuesday, May 5, at City Park. GHS coach Elie Viviant joins Behind the G cohosts Katie B. and Adam to discuss his team's season, and its improbable run to the state's final four. Behind the G, a podcast for Red Elephants by Red Elephants, centers on giving listeners an inside look into the athletic department at Gainesville High School in Georgia.     Behind the G talks state basketball quarterfinals, empowering female athletes and GHS track

    Behind the G co-hosts Gainesville High School Athletic Director Adam Lindsey and Sports Information Director Katie B. Davis talk the Red Elephants run through the state quarterfinals, and the atmosphere in Davis-Hill Gym, while welcoming in guests Christina Lecoeuvre and Deon Williams. Lecoeuvre, Gainesville's volleyball coach, recently began a monthly series of seminars aimed at informing and empowering Big Red's contingent of female athletes. Williams, who serves as both an assistant football coach and co-head track coach, joins the show to make a big career announcement while updating listeners on the state of Gainesville track and field.

    On this week's episode of Behind the G, Gainesville High School's athletic podcast for Red Elephants by Red Elephants, co-hosts Adam Lindsey and Katie B. Davis welcome in head boys soccer coach at GHS Elie Vivient, assistant girls soccer coach and former US Women's National Team member Tara Koleski, and swimmer Colden McKay who competed in four events at the state meet last weekend at Georgia Tech.
