    Most of us are praying to a god we have never actually examined. Put in good behavior, expect good outcomes. Stay clean, expect the blessing. Mess up, and brace for the bill. We would never say it out loud, but a lot of us treat God like a vending machine.  In this episode, Joshua Broome traces what that one belief quietly does to everything else. A transactional view of God does not stay in your prayer life.
