We're at the midway point in the 25/26 Premier League season, so the boys sat down to have a chat, a laugh, and quite a few beers (and of course limoncello shots) while recapping our favorite moments from this epic season of Premier League and Banter Super League (so far).     Jesse and Em sit down with two Banter Super League groupchat OG's, and resident Cityzens, Tall and Elliot, ahead of the upcoming Manchester Derby at the Emptihad. The boys each gave predicted XI's, score predictions, and of course, loads of pure unfiltered, zesty banter. In addition to previewing Sunday's massive fixture, we found time to discuss the USMNT v Korea in New Jersey, and the broader landscape of football, or soccer, in the USA. Tall brought some wonderful perspective as a teacher and coach who formerly worked in the Bronx. Our Combined XI yielded what may be the best midfield in the prem, if it were real: Rodri, Reinders, Bruno Fernandes. And in our first edition of a new segment called "Devil's Advocate," Tall even found it in his heart to proclaim that there is a chance Manchester United could win the Prem this year... So you're telling me there's a chance...

    Coming to you from the heart of Astoria, New York City, this is the Banter Super League, an independently produced video podcast all about the art of banter in football-- or for you uncultured swine out there, soccer. Co-hosted by Jesse Moritz and Emir Deljanin. For now, we'll be focusing primarily on the "big six" premier league clubs: Manchester United, Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester City, and Tottenham Hotspur. But we will touch on all things football, while also occasionally dabbling in broader topics within sports, culture, and New York City. We're hosting our first event (of many), which is a watch party for the Man United vs. Arsenal game, this Sunday, August 17th at Clara's Bushwick. We'll have an open bar available, and it's going to be an absolutely classic opening match for the upcoming season of both the Premier League, and the Banter Super League.
